This H-King version of the classic F4U Corsair warbird is manufactured in a superbly finished EPO foam in an authentic navy color scheme with all the decals pre-applied. The Corsair is a very stable flyer in its own right, for most pilots, the gyro is not necessary. However, for beginners and low hours pilots, a 6 axis ORX flight stabilization system is supplied which makes it even easier to fly. The stabilization system utilizes a 32bit MCU and a 6-axis digital gyro for ultra-fast control response, it can be switched from beginner to expert mode as your experience grows.
The F4U Corsair first saw service in World War ll and then the Korean war. It was designed as a carrier-based aircraft and entered service with the US Navy in 1944, it was also the first American fighter to exceed 400mph. The H-King F4U Corsair depicts "White 29", the mount flown by Lt Cmdr Ira C Kepford of fighter squadron VF-17 the "Jolly Rogers". It carries the famous Jolly Rogers skull and crossbones nose art as well as Kepfords 16 Rising Sun victory markings.
There is little to build with the H-King F4U Corsair. It comes 97% pre-built with the motor, ESC and servos pre-installed. All you need to do is fit the main wing, tail assembly, and plug in the main landing gear. You will also need your own transmitter, receiver, and flight battery.
It has the power to do all the maneuvers required for a World War II fighter and looks fantastic in the air. The stabilization system makes it very smooth and easy to fly and its small size is perfect for flying in local parks, large indoor areas, or the local flying patch.

I have add some weight in front of the battery and it is still not enough. If I add more I'm afraid the plane will tranform in a heat iron !!!

Great video. I have the same plane and it flies and looks great. Especially if you look at the price. I use the Turnigy 950 mha and I can fly 5 minutes if I am not doing too crazy (and also with calm weather). I got into the RC planes again instead of the helicopters due to this channel and I do not regret.

Brilliant video. This series of little warbirds are all amazing.. Such scale, & such presence in the air! Maybe the unexpected G spot has something to do with the gull wing.. I say this because I've seen a JU88 Stuka, years ago, which was a balsa/glow scratch build, and the guy was worried about stalling on take off, but it was OK.. Maybe the unusual wing screws our CG expectations.. Ooops, I'm babbling!! Big salute as ever from London.
I would love to see Stuka in this dimension also.

Its really sad my friend.
Its been cold and windy here too. Crashed my night Radian on its Maiden Tuesday. I have it mostly repaired already. The nose was broken in 2 places. I used a ton of Hot glue and good as new. I had to order a new prop set. Apparently I got the wrong battery in it, threw the CG off. That and as it was climbing, the wind flipped the plane over and forced it down. It did a roll and did land on its feet, just really, really hard. I seem to have issues maidening planes lately. They fly better with hot glue anyways.
Good thing you fixed it my friend. And many times fixed planes do fly even better.

The cg was perfect and it really looks like on rails with the gyro in this wind. The Corsair is such a beautiful plane, I think with the P51 it is the most sexy of that time.
It seemed the battery had one low cell of 15%, the others seemed higher so maybe it’s out of balance or just a bad cell ?
It would explain why it sucked that battery like a boss.

Corsairs are amazing.
using a 1000mah right up the nose , I still had to install 50g of weight to the nose - but she flew really well - the problem I had was that it sucks the battery dry within 5 mins - down to 4% !!!! _ was also flying at High rates but I used the original Gyro just turned it upside down and it works fine in AS3X mode but not tested it in Safe mode.
But in fack Iam flying this baby now with 850 betterie and it seems perfect to me.

Nice flight. Why does it appear so difficult to land on the runway? Is it because it is so small or maybe because of where you are standing relative to the runway? I'm new to the RC flying hobby and asking so I can learn. I know you are a good pilot and I am not judging you.
Its really not so easy to hit the carpet as it looks ;-)
@@PetrincicBrosRC That's what I was thinking. I see some channels where the pilots belong to clubs with paved runways. The club I belong to only has a grass runway but it is plenty wide and long.

After 5 mins flying the 850 lipo was down to 4%!!!!
Just got mine 2 days ago it is set up and waiting on weather , CG doesn’t work out with No ordinance or tanks with 850 mah batt
your small corsair looks much bigger in the air than 750mm
