Heck Adam. I loved the intro and history of the Black Sheep and your father. Thanks for sharing that... Flying was outstanding as always.... The filming conditions were perfect, great job Heidi.
Good stuff Adam, really sweet flight my friend. It's nice to know that people are still out there telling the history of the Black Sheep Squadron, Pappy Boyington and the F4U Corsair. Big SALUTE to Harry, who served as a marine and as a good father. AirHammer out!!
“Landscape Rockstar” may be on its way out. “Miniature Aircraft Rockstar” looks to be the future! Make sure you give your employees 2 weeks notice!😄✌🏻👍🏻🏁
A fine tribute to our Fathers. Mine was a Marine Raider 4th battalion shot on Guam. It left him with wounds that haunted him for the rest of his days. Flightline Corsair is the most accurate one to date and you fly it with the respect it deserves. ( I have 3 ) Thank you and Heidi for your fine work. ............Semper Fi
Wow, Adam. Just Wow! "Somethin' cool with wings"?!? With the story this one's wrapped in, this is more like, "Somethin' EPIC with wings"! Thanks, man. What a special episode 👍
A superb and disciplined piece of flying, Adam... scale flying is my ultimate expression of this hobby and you do it to perfection. You *inspire* me to try harder. Equally, what a great tribute to the elite Black Sheep squadron, and to your hero, warrior, Marine Father.
Gina thank you so much. That means the world to me. You get it gal. Your patriotism and gratitude for the folks that provide our freedom is one of the many things I admire about you.
What a wonderful intro Adam. Live this aircraft. I have been twice to Iwo Jima, Saipan & The most of the Pacific theatre. I stood in a cruise ship during a memorial trip off Iwo with a US Navy pilot in full original WW2 uniform recounting how he was flying back from battle in a Corsair with zero fuel in the tank & made it ‘ on the smell if an oily rag’! I now fly various sorties in my Corsair on the Microsoft combat 2 Pacific WW2 & with the Arrows Corsair. A lovely tribute to your Dad. Great flying bro✔️✔️✔️🇦🇺🇺🇸
Adam even tho im on other side of the planet,, i fell in luv withe the corsair 4 the same reason, once a week robert conrad (pappy) and the f4u kept my brother and i excited.. as 10 or 11 year olds ,, nothing better in the day,, and yes thanx to all who fought,, inc my granddad who fought in africa..
Very Nice. Great Flight. Glad you did tribute to the Black Sheep Squadron 🖤. One of my favorites of shows back then. Wanted to paint my 1700mm FMS model, that I have not flown yet, like to it with Marines on it. Thank You to your Dad for being in the Marines and service in the World War II , even though it is little late. I Respect and Wish I could have been able to say that personally. So Sorry for your loss of your Father. And in respect to you, Thank You for sharing your post of videos and thoughts and some history of your Flights and Builds, your Father and about the Black Sheep Squadron on which is not as well talked about and known after Pappy's being shot down. My Respect and Thank You to Those Who Served in the Black Sheep Squadron as well as ALL Who Served in ALL Branches of the Military 🎖️.
Very nice work with the camera and flight. I love how you told about your dad and the Corsair / Franklin history. (There is quite a bit of history about the brave deeds to save lives, and about how some had to leave the ship to avoid being killed. Sadly these were treated very badly afterwards.) I really liked how you flew through the maneuvers. Some will roll a plane about as fast as it can go, but I don't think that looks very realistic. I love the looks of the Corsair! Great presence in the air, and it looks great with those big old flaps and large diameter propeller. Great job with your 'scale' flights!
Thanks very much! I love studying the history of WWI and WWII. I appreciate your observations on the scale flying. Its the little things that make the difference.
Thanks man, that is quite the compliment coming from a great pilot like you. You are smoooooth bro. Believe it or not...that was my worst landing that day. I added a bit too much power on the round out and had to give up on the flare to just get it down and making friction to stop. I ate up too much runway.
No not as much as I’d like to, I’ve been busy with commercial fishing here in Louisiana, I fly a little in the evenings if I get home early enough to do so
A fantastic tribute to the Black Sheep!! And to your late Father Adam, Fantastic flying!! Of all the videos you do, and they are all great!! the scale series is my favourite, for me it's what flying model planes is all about!! Fantastic filming and , A real masterclass!! Respect 😀👍
Great tribute video. Wow your father served in 1945@ Iwo Jima so many Marines and Soldiers lost there lives there. My uncle David lost both legs there. WWII was so costly in lives. The FL F4U-1D is on my wish list because its a 1600mm and should handle grass runways decent. Enjoyed watching
Thanks Tug! Yes sir, he was in the second wave they thought they might not need. The island was basically leveled by bombing, but they were under ground waiting for us. God Bless your Uncle David.
Great scale flight Adam. The Corsair is iconic and I remember Baa Baa Black sheep as well. Very nice tribute to your father and the Black Sheep on the Franklin.
What an fantastic tribute flight Adam! I especially liked the history and background at the beginning. Really puts the flight into perspective. Your father was part of an amazing generation, and a huge debt of gratitude goes out for his service to country...
@@ModelAV8RChannel I've wanted either this one or the FMS 1700mm version for a while, running out of space in my hobby room and I don't fly my warbirds enough to really make buying another one a priority though. 😜
Outstanding scale flight Adam. Noticed you took off without flaps, no? I do the same with mine, even on grass, as it allows it to pick up sufficient speed before getting in the air too soon. Exceptional landing, I've been telling everyone to keep speed up on landing as you did, touching down while level and it looks right and avoids collapsing the retracts. I land at 35% throttle and in 100 flights, still have the same retracts😂. Kudos to Harry's Revenge. My father was also in the Pacific.
Awesome plane! And great video, you fly excellently! You mentioned the glossy paint, did you clear coat it or just use a glossy blue paint to match? Just picked one up myself looking to give a similar scheme but in the VF-84.
I had to replace the elevator servo in mine, but all the others are fine so far. This is what I have on the elevator. It's a great servo. It isn't super fast, but if you fly it like a warbird you don't need super fast. hitecrcd.com/products/servos/digital/d-series/d85mg/product

On the FL Corsair, yes sir...it is THE one to have in foam.
Wow, Adam. Just Wow!

Adam fantastic flying and lovely tribute to your Father and the Black Sheep. Jeff in LA USA
Jeff thank you brother!
Very nice! love these videos 👍 I was lucky enough to meet 'Pappy' at an air show many years ago...will never forget that !!!

Hi Adam I love my warbirds and today the day the p-47 and the FMS Futura get a maiden flite😀🛩🛩🪂👍👍 I am Hoping all goes well and as always great video
Thanks Frank!
Very well done video. Great air show and beautiful sky. Keep these scale videos coming. BTW__ Is that KATL traffic that goes by in the distance?
Thanks Mike! We will, my favorite way to fly. Yep, they are at about 7000 ft at that point. (So I'm told by an airline pilot club member)
Awesome plane! And great video, you fly excellently! You mentioned the glossy paint, did you clear coat it or just use a glossy blue paint to match? Just picked one up myself looking to give a similar scheme but in the VF-84.
Hey thanks very much. It is a clear coat on the stock paint. I used poly...water based.
Excellent video. Could you please share link to upgraded servos? Stock servos on my F4u are crap.
