I test drove one yesterday. Getting in and out of this car is a pain for a tall person like me. The door pillar needs to be moved rearward about 6”. This car was terrible to drive because of how jittery and jumpy it was. I could not believe it was new and saw another person comment on this. I would have bought it if it wasn’t for these 2 BIG issues. Mercedes needs to step up and fix those things. Sitting in this car was a great experience. The infotainment system leaves a some to be desired. Way too complicated and could cause an accident trying to figure it out. The heads up display was cool. I thought it was a little noisy for a Mercedes but could tolerate it if it drove better.
I was given this car as a courtesy car by Mercedes Benze dealership while my S Class is being serviced. It's relatively comfortable and it is quiet ride. The suspension absorbs small bumps on the road ok, but not the bigger bumps. Also the engin lacks power. It has no torque untill the turbo kicks in, which causes an unnatural and uncomfortable jerk. This is because the engine is weak that you have to floor the car to get it going, but then the turbo kicks in and the car suddenly jolts forward as if it got a kick in the arse, and you have to lay off the gas pedal to temper the turbo. It's very jerky and difficult to get it to accelerate smoothly and comfortably. I wouldnt buy the 4 cylinder turbo for this reason alone. It is incredibly annoying to drive under acceleration from a full stop. I would only but it with a V6 engine.
I test drove and was about to buy a 2024 Mercedes GLC300 but my wife hates the exterior look (I do too but I can live with it). Then she suggested looking at Cadillac. Wow we love the distinctive look and 33 in screen of the 2024 Cadillac XT4 that we bought one. My video: ruclips.net/video/ehsMYDQQHHU/видео.html
I was definitely going to get one, but unfortunately in New Zealand there's no ventilated seats option.. something my 10 year old Jeep has, so I have to pass.. :(
Nice SUV the only issue in the US is the unavailable Continental Eco Contact 6Q tires. Two flats one repairable. Dealer removed one from a new SUV. Mercedes Corp still terrible in reference to.a resolution on these tires. Ordered a AWD but they put on Summer tires that are not sold in the US. Will be filing a law suit within the year. Mercedes customer service is still horrible in my opinion. My next SUV will be a Lexus!!!!!
@@johnsambo9379 I could write a check for an AMG S Class tomorrow- wouldn’t affect my net worth at all. Plenty, if not most marques have standard LED projector headlights.
Yep, can’t stand this type of LED lights. Might be ok for a car sub $30,000 but totally unacceptable for a luxury vehicle. My #1 reason to skip glc and just get GLE.
@lamthan2307 I just bought the fully loaded glc300 2024 and I must say I'm not disappointed. She's is a sweet monster on the road. I have nothing bad to say about her. ❤
what a trash! GLC 300 2016 was 2.0-liter turbocharged 4 cylinder 241 horsepower and 273 lb-ft . GLC 300 2024 2.0-liter turbocharged 4 cylinder 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft . Almost nothing has changed and it's overpriced!
You can get one equipped for $54,000.
Love love love my 2024 GLC 300 4matic Amg ❤
I love mine too💚
Pros:
1. Ride Quality
2. Reduced cabin noise
3. Tight turn radius
4. Nice interior
Cons:
1. Slow
2. Infotainment system
3. Price
Would the coupe be the better option?
It has a nice infotainment system and 255hb is enough for that size but price well you have to pay for the brand

I would would like the navigation a little bit higher this would improve the driving experience and you do not have to down.
It has HUD
Would you take this over the BMW X3 M40I?
BMW has more power🧐
Better quality then the X3
What about x5 2022 M
Is this car standard black? Or black obsidian color?
Graphite grey
Hi Ben would you recommend GLC300 or Macan T?
@Berley_1234damn, lol. But you gotta factor in Porsche service $$$$ vs Mercedes service $$$
2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC300 4MATIC AMG Line Night Package!
Just got one, but 2023 tho. White with red interior and heads up display. pretty decent
"As well"..... the title of Ben's next book ☺
LOL
62k to sound like a 90's era Toyota

Other reviewers have commented that the interior quality is disappointing in terms of fit and finish. What are your thoughts Ben?
Not as good as more expensive Mercedes, but it’s not bad
What reviewers?

idk, a new CX70 is by far a better buy.
The problem with that car is that it’s not a Mercedes…!!
and way cheaper to maintain and service. the CX70 might be bit bigger. the driving feels almost the same.
Reflector LED headlights just like the Honda Civic.
Then buy a Civic poor boy. Always some smartass comments from people that are jealous.

Ben Hardy, slow down your speech!
Why do people never review fully loaded models?? 🤦♂️
Cause they are hard to come by
Bc their too expensive and afraid to get any damaged on them? 🤷♂️

Mate, those are not « super cool LEDs »! Those are cheap reflector LED

Are you wearing lipstick?🤔🤨
Really? Never mind, you probably shouldn't answer.
