To be fair to Candice her main issue isn’t the weird stuff her brothers get up to it’s that somehow their mother never sees any of it and thinks that she’s either exaggerating typical childhood games massively out of proportion at best or legitimately delusional and needs to see a therapist at worst
That's one of the things I love about her development around season 2. Her motive seemed less about getting the boys in trouble and more about proving she's not crazy to her mom, and that she's responsible and can be in control of her chaotic life to herself. She even teams up with the boys more often goes to them for help more as the show progresses.

Even when Candace does try to bust them, the show still goes out of its way to show Phineas looks up to and adores his big sister, having him include her in most of his projects and rarely ever snap at her- with a few exceptions: GET ON THE TRIKE!!!
Also Perry the platypus is voiced by Dee Bradley Baker, an incredibly prolific voice actor, who has kind of also made a name for himself making weird animal sounds.
Candace is a cartoon character who doesn’t know she’s in a cartoon. Just imagine actual 10 year olds going into space or building a fully functional, 400 foot tall roller coaster. Of course you’d be freaking out.
I never even realized Ashley Tisdale voiced Candace, cause I’ve always watched the show in my own language, I only knew she was stealth elf in skylanders academy, cause I watched that one in english.

Candace progresses a lot in character during the various seasons. As someone mentioned in replies, it's not so much that she wants to bust the boys, but rather, she wants to prove to her mom that she's not crazy. in fact, the only one of her parents that believes her, because he's seen it but doesn't care, is her father. Honestly i'm not too enthused about their mom because in the one episode that she actually does bust them (through time travel) it leads to a dystopian society, implied that Phineas and Ferb were prevented from, expressing their creativity. Anywho, like I said she gets better to the point that I believe she completely gives up trying to bust them in the recent movie.
I don't think its about the dad not caring. There were times where he asked the boys if he got permission from his mom and other times, he also doesn't know what the boys did. But the inventions he is aware of, he encourages creativity and cares more about the time they all spent together like when the boys made a plane so that he and his dad could fly together like in the old days.
Candice and Vanessa's voice actors are unironically the best singers in the show, so pairing them together was the best thing they've ever done. You should listen to "Rollercoaster" from the episode "Rollercoaster: The Musical". It's also the episode where 6:21 is in. The song is so underrated and im not sure why
Yes, I love both “Busted” and “Rollercoaster” and have memorized both (along with almost every other song in the series) my grand plan is to sing “Rollercoaster” on an actual rollercoaster at some point :)
Please do more of these! There's an almost limitless well of fantastic Phineas and Ferb music to choose from, and your reactions to them are fantastic! I'd suggest One Little Scare, When We Didn't Get Along, What Is This Thing?, Floor After Floor, and Chains On Me because they're great. Also, the Ballad Of Klimpaloon simply because an out-of-context reaction to it is very likely to be hilarious.
Backyard Beach, Someone Give Me A Grade, Robot Riot, and Hey Ferb (from Rollercoaster: The Musical) have to be some of my top favs of ones you haven't reacted to. Given that their contract said they had to included a song in every episode there are just a few to choose from 🤣

Answering your question at 4:56, Candice has an allergy to wild parsnips. A character in the show named Jeremy brought some for her unknowing of her allergy, and Candice ran out of her pills to help get rid of the allergic reaction. Candice didn't want to look "ugly" in front of Jeremy so she threw a bag over her head and wore clothes she wouldn't normally wear as a disguise. She then went to her mom's knitting club (where the song takes place) and started singing about all the evil things Phineas and Ferb do, since Phineas and Ferb's latest invention was the whole reason Jeremy was there with the gift of Wild Parsnips in the first place. Hope this cleared some stuff up and sorry if I got some bits of the situation wrong, I haven't watched this show in years but was a big fan of it lol.

Glad someone else sympathetizes with Candace. Like is she bossy? Yeah. But like,,, they are genuinely putting like a bunch of people (including themselves and their entire tri state area) in danger w some of there activities. Candace is like 16 and her mom never takes her seriously ONCE. "Mom Phineas and Ferb are creating a biological super weapon in the backyard!" "Cadence, stop lying!" And their literally doing it. Makes me Mad ASF. BC it's the PARENTS responsibility to make sure their children are safe, but P&F 's parents have NEVER seen their projects and don't even check up on them. They leave it to their teenage daughter, and then label her as "crazy" and "disruptive". Bro I need to stop talking about the para social familial relationships in 'Phineas and Ferb' or it will become like fucking Encanto all over again.
It's made clear that Phineas and Ferb did not start doing these projects during the summer depicted, and that they had a long history of it. Candace tries every time to show her parents, especially Linda, and the parents almost always go look. After years of listening to implausible stories, looking, and seeing nothing, it's frankly incredible that they aren't worried about Candace's sanity. The universe gaslights Candace, not her parents, who are incredibly reasonable given it appears to them that their daughter has cried wolf hundreds of times in a row.
I'm still waiting for "Somebody give me a grade" and "Evil for extra credit". I think he'll get a kick out of them, and baljeet is such a treat any time he sings.
I recommend you listen to "I love you Mom" and "Come Home Perry" both sang by Candace. Also "E.V.I.L Boys" was sung by Candace who was given wild parsnips from Buford. Candace is allergic to them and her voice goes deeper when she is exposed to them. Also her skin changes color. Can't wait for the next video. :D
Old video, so you've probably seen the show by now or other people have probably already told you, but if I don't type this something inside me will explode. Candace and Doofenshmirtz were both sympathetic antagonists. You knew it was a bad thing if they got what they wanted, but they worked so hard at it, you couldn't help but root for them despite knowing they'd never get what they wanted because that would destroy the show's formula. You are right when you say Candace just needs to chill out, but despite her misery being self-induced, her frustration comes from simply never being believed despite always being right and it makes for a really fun character. She actually isn't very mean to her brothers, she's just more grounded compared to their cartoony antics.
Fun fact! Olivia Olson, voice of Vanessa, got her start on Phineas and Ferb when her dad (who I believe helped write the songs) would have her record them so much, that at a certain point she just got a full character to voice. Granted, idk if they were already planning on making that character or not, but regardless, her previous work on the show got her the part. She would later go on to voice Marcelline in adventure time, and now she's making her own music. (she might have been doing that for a while tho, so whoever knows the facts better is welcome to correct me)
She was also in Love Actually before Phineas and Ferb, as Joanna, the girl who sings "All I Want For Christmas Is You" near the end. Fun coincidence, in that movie she was the love interest of Thomas Brodie Sangster's character, and he would later go on to play Ferb.
I would love if he did one of these dedicated to Love Handle stuff, starting with all the songs from when they were convincing the band to get back together. All of them are amazing especially the one for the lead singer and the one for the drummer (imo).

The main character is even voiced by Weird Al! I'd suggest "Rooting For The Enemy", "Taking A Stroll", "Toboggan Of Love", "How Do I Do It", "Murphy Family Vacation", "I Can't Find You", "Goulash", and the theme song "It's My World".
So fun fact. Candace is earlier on in the series shown eating a Grilled cheese sandwich and it's actually canonically her favorite food. Yet despite that earlier in the series was where it was established canonically that Candace is allergic to Parsnips and Dairy. And when the creators had this pointed out to them during a Con, they said they actually never even realized it until just that moment when it was pointed out to them. So yeah, technically, both are cannon.😅
Man I really like Phineas and Ferb. And you can tell it's different like somebody super creative just put so much heart into it and they really cared about music being good! My favourite ones that you haven't seen already are Little Brothers, Somebody Give Me A Grade and Missing my Nemesis (When we didn't get along).

Honestly, I enjoyed watching Phineas & Ferb with my niece when she was younger along with Gravity Falls and a few other shows on Disney Channel. Every episode had a great song and the plot was both similar enough to be comforting yet different enough to make you want to see where it would go. Plus I learned what an aglet was in one episode which literally starts with the dad working on a crossword puzzle, revealing aglet as the answer, and Phineas & Ferb learning about it and deciding to spread the word to others who didn’t know. If it was the intention of the writer to educate others on what an aglet was, the episode by itself does a great job and yet we the audience still get an awesome song with A-G-L-E-T just for good measure. So many of these songs would get stuck in my head for days and I’d find myself humming them at work (thankfully I worked as a machine operator at a manufacturing plant which was a very loud place so I didn’t bother anyone with my humming). these songs were always catchy! I also liked songs from Bob's Burgers, they are short and really catchy. Who burned the restaurant?, bad stuff happens in the bathroom, and the bleaken is coming are some I could think of.
Honestly you should do a reaction of the first episode and the rollercoaster musical episode, which is both in our reality and in the universe of Phineas and Ferb, just a recreation of the first episode but as a musical. It's amazing, and kind of a testament to how an already pretty ridiculous and wild concept escalated so incredibly and got completely off the rails, pun intended.

When Candace says they built a roller coaster, she means an actual roller coaster that when to the upper atmosphere, and a LITERAL BEACH. You should actually watch a few episodes and you start to see Candace's point.

The context of evil boys if I remember correctly was basically just that Candice was trying to get the boys busted like normal and she came into contact with a plant that she's allergic to along the way that gave her super deep voice and she at some point got a paper bag on her face I don't remember how and then she went to her mom to tell on her and her mom happened to be practicing music lessons and so Candice telling about why the boys are evil at the same time as music happening to play in the background results in a surprisingly catchy song

Answering your question at 4:56, Candice has an allergy to wild parsnips. A character in the show named Jeremy brought some for her unknowing of her allergy, and Candice ran out of her pills to help get rid of the allergic reaction. Candice didn't want to look "ugly" in front of Jeremy so she threw a bag over her head and wore clothes she wouldn't normally wear as a disguise. She then went to her mom's knitting club (where the song takes place) and started singing about all the evil things Phineas and Ferb do, since Phineas and Ferb's latest invention was the whole reason Jeremy was there with the gift of Wild Parsnips in the first place. Hope this cleared some stuff up and sorry if I got some bits of the situation wrong, I haven't watched this show in years but was a big fan of it lol.

It's made clear that Phineas and Ferb did not start doing these projects during the summer depicted, and that they had a long history of it. Candace tries every time to show her parents, especially Linda, and the parents almost always go look. After years of listening to implausible stories, looking, and seeing nothing, it's frankly incredible that they aren't worried about Candace's sanity. The universe gaslights Candace, not her parents, who are incredibly reasonable given it appears to them that their daughter has cried wolf hundreds of times in a row.
Agreed, the group literally nearly got themselves stuck in prison living in the bodies of a bunch of criminal aliens, and Candace had to save them

I recommend you listen to "I love you Mom" and "Come Home Perry" both sang by Candace. Also "E.V.I.L Boys" was sung by Candace who was given wild parsnips from Buford. Candace is allergic to them and her voice goes deeper when she is exposed to them. Also her skin changes color. Can't wait for the next video. :D
Dan Povinmire, the creator of the show, was the voice of Candace during E.V.I.L Boys and the whole time she was having her allergic reaction I think.
Old video, so you've probably seen the show by now or other people have probably already told you, but if I don't type this something inside me will explode. Candace and Doofenshmirtz were both sympathetic antagonists. You knew it was a bad thing if they got what they wanted, but they worked so hard at it, you couldn't help but root for them despite knowing they'd never get what they wanted because that would destroy the show's formula. You are right when you say Candace just needs to chill out, but despite her misery being self-induced, her frustration comes from simply never being believed despite always being right and it makes for a really fun character. She actually isn't very mean to her brothers, she's just more grounded compared to their cartoony antics.
Fun fact! Olivia Olson, voice of Vanessa, got her start on Phineas and Ferb when her dad (who I believe helped write the songs) would have her record them so much, that at a certain point she just got a full character to voice. Granted, idk if they were already planning on making that character or not, but regardless, her previous work on the show got her the part. She would later go on to voice Marcelline in adventure time, and now she's making her own music. (she might have been doing that for a while tho, so whoever knows the facts better is welcome to correct me)

She was also in Love Actually before Phineas and Ferb, as Joanna, the girl who sings "All I Want For Christmas Is You" near the end. Fun coincidence, in that movie she was the love interest of Thomas Brodie Sangster's character, and he would later go on to play Ferb.
I would love if he did one of these dedicated to Love Handle stuff, starting with all the songs from when they were convincing the band to get back together. All of them are amazing especially the one for the lead singer and the one for the drummer (imo).

So fun fact. Candace is earlier on in the series shown eating a Grilled cheese sandwich and it's actually canonically her favorite food. Honestly, I enjoyed watching Phineas & Ferb with my niece when she was younger along with Gravity Falls and a few other shows on Disney Channel. Every episode had a great song and the plot was both similar enough to be comforting yet different enough to make you want to see where it would go. Plus I learned what an aglet was in one episode which literally starts with the dad working on a crossword puzzle, revealing aglet as the answer, and Phineas & Ferb learning about it and deciding to spread the word to others who didn’t know. If it was the intention of the writer to educate others on what an aglet was, the episode by itself does a great job and yet we the audience still get an awesome song with A-G-L-E-T just for good measure. So many of these songs would get stuck in my head for days and I’d find myself humming them at work (thankfully I worked as a machine operator at a manufacturing plant which was a very loud place so I didn’t bother anyone with my humming).

But honestly it’s usually not that bad (last February being the exception). I mean it was 55°F (12°C) today and that’s average for winter time where I live.

Honestly you should do a reaction of the first episode and the rollercoaster musical episode, which is both in our reality and in the universe of Phineas and Ferb, just a recreation of the first episode but as a musical. It's amazing, and kind of a testament to how an already pretty ridiculous and wild concept escalated so incredibly and got completely off the rails, pun intended.

When Candace says they built a roller coaster, she means an actual roller coaster that when to the upper atmosphere, and a LITERAL BEACH. You should actually watch a few episodes and you start to see Candace's point.

The context of evil boys if I remember correctly was basically just that Candice was trying to get the boys busted like normal and she came into contact with a plant that she's allergic to along the way that gave her super deep voice and she at some point got a paper bag on her face I don't remember how and then she went to her mom to tell on her and her mom happened to be practicing music lessons and so Candice telling about why the boys are evil at the same time as music happening to play in the background results in a surprisingly catchy song
