BMW xDrive + Summer Tires - How does it drive? (ASMR STYLE)

We all want to rock our nice wheels as long as we can. For me, I have an all season set, but I want to see how long I can run my summer tires. Can xDrive offset the decreased grip and traction? Can you run summer tires all year round? What are my xDrive first impressions? Also, how does it compare to SH-AWD that I had in a previous car?
