    Yes I am finally pretty well stocked with craft supplies. Thank God for all you gals who are an inspiration. You all have given me sources for supplies.
    I just finished making 1000 cards with handwritten messages for hospital workers in San Antonio Tx. They were happy to receive appreciation for their work during pandemic.

      OMGOSH!! what a beautiful gesture!! I've always wanted to do something for the hospital staff. I have a WONDERFUL sewing machine, I've had for about 4 years (400.00). It's been out of the box, and only once. I went through the tutorial C D and the machine went back into the box. And it has stayed there ever since it scares the living daylights out of me. I cannot find anybody that come and walk through it with me. 1 on 1 instead of from a video. How silly is this? Hospital gowns, baby blankets, masks.... etc... i guess i was over confidentwith the skillset i have. Maybe trade someone for a new straight simple machine and some fabric to make an equal trade???..😢😢😢

    3/7/20 Two years later, I found you for the first time! I have been crafting for decades, but I have always dranw the line at embossing and die-cutting due to the expense of the tools and machines. But I am telling you, the textures you achieved on durable-made-pretty contact paper makes me dream of making a wallet and a small journal book cover and who knows what all! Thank you so much. I really appreciate your excitement!

    This is excellent 👍 TFS. For a frayed edge... I always use a small paintbrush with a little water. Outline the edge of the design and voila... perfect frayed edges. Tissue... napkin and paper. I'm thinking I could cut the image out of the Contact first... adhere then use paintbrush 😘

    I used clear spray that is used to seal paint on my napkins and let dry about 24 hours made the napkins less flimsy and I used the clear spray on gift bags to help seal what I do so the gift bags might give this idea a try as I just love it how the napkins and gift bags turn out. I love your video....

    Thank you for sharing your tutorial. I love this ideal. Could you use a heating gun to melt it on there. I don't have any of those little machines that you have. Could I use like a rolling pin heavy one?

    • @biblescraps
      @biblescraps  5 лет назад

      No. Eva a heating gun will more than likely melt the adhesive because the heat gun may be hotter. It will also curl the napkin. Remember you don't need a laminator to use this technique. Just add the adhesive to the napkin and your set. Thanks for asking. Blessings....

    Nice, but shouldn't it be called contact paper, not wax paper

  • @rongablue

    You'll get a feathered edge on your napkin if you use a narrow damp paint brush to separate.

  • @bdwalters4585
    @bdwalters4585 5 лет назад

    You can get the feathered, torn edge by wetting your tear line with a water dipped paintbrush...perhaps tear before adding contact paper...
