shes also just saying what every other company says i.e. that her products are the best. vitamin c is pointless putting on the skin.. orally taking vitamin c is WAY cheaper and it DOES get to your skin. MOST OTC SKINCARE is pointless. when she was recommending hyaluronic acid.. it was POINTLESS back then too.. but it was made just for content it was already in many products. when she spoke about layering back then telling you how to layer 5 6 7 different products she knew damn well all of it after 2 or 3 was going to waste.
all you need is PRESCRIPTION tretinoin (not OTC retinol) she wont say that otherwise you wont buy her retinol products. SPF 50 broadspec PA++++ . a cleanser and a moisturiser . occasionally you can use a chemical peel. but the rest is all pointless unless its prescription acne treatment etc

Yes I noticed that naturium's Niacinamide is 12% too and was wondering if anyone else picked up on it. I like Dr V's videos and find them informative however I feel in this instance she let us down by not checking her facts and recommending a product outside the 2-5% Niacinamide range. Dr. V, can you please clarify about your Naturium Niacinamide recommendation? You said it's more gentle because it's "2% Niacinamide", but the bottle actually says "12% Niacinamide and 2% Zinc".
I was actually interested in that gentler formulation because I purchased The Ordinary's 10% Niacinamide serum and it burns my face. Not sure if that supposed to happen because I've never used that particular niacinamide before. Thank you for this updated video 💗🙏🏽 I've learned so much from you and have changed my skincare products because of what you taught me.
I look at skincare products totally different now and with a keen eye.
When I see social media influencers who are P.O.C.s promoting/selling skincare that isn't even good for their skin or their audience's skin, I give them a Bombastic Side-Eye because they literally have no idea what the hell they're selling.
Also, many POC influencers have natural beautiful skin, in addition to many of them being in their early 20s. So they sell skincare products to their audience claiming that the products are "the best", when in fact that influencer has beautiful skin due to their GENETICS and their age - not because of some skincare products that aren't even good for their skin! It's crazy out there in skincare land.
Thanks for everything you do! 💖 God bless ✨🥰

Why do I feel that Dr. V recommation has reduced to almost 0 of other brands / products and ends up advertising her own brand.
I am not saying that anything is wrong with that but there many many products that has done wonders to my skin( ended up having a glass skin) which are not recommended by Dr. V

Dr V. I bought an eye cream called SEA-el vitamin C Kelp eye gel. I bought it b/c it seamed to have decent ingredients. I bought it at like a TJMaxx. In the top 10 ingredients it does have your fave vit C at #7 and it has veg Glycerin at #6. Oh and Licorice root at #10 or #11 Before all that its water, áloe, raddish root, sea kelp.. many veg ingredients. So can you try to find it to see if it's good? Or based on what I have shared if you think it's good. I will say it feels cooling to my eyes and I haven't had any issues thus far. Been using for about 2 months at night only. It is in a jar not an airless pump.

I tried your complete skin care range. I have used multiple skin care products. From glycolic peels to Vit C to retinol, kojic acids etc etc over the years, I’ve always seen wonderful results with them . I really wanted to get something that I can stick to forever so I bought your products. I’m so so so dissatisfied. It’s basically a useless over priced range of gimmicky skincare . The Oil Cleanser came in broken and spilled in pack. There was product left in pack so I still could use some of it .. but how I wish it all had spilled lol. The gel wash does not cleanse well. The exfoliating gel is very mild ( at least for my skin) the serum does nothing and is basically very silicone-y. The only good thing is the cera prep. This moisturizer is really nice ! I am around 38 yrs old. Never broken out on my skin even with multiple skin care products . I never ever had any hyperpigmentation. I did not have one pimple mark on my face in these 38 yrs of my life and within one month of using these products I have soooo many marks. I don’t feel like looking at myself in the mirror anymore. I have to hide my marks with makeup. I don’t know what to do now! I thought of trying hyperpigmentation kit but I’m not even sure if I should trust your products now. It’s a nightmare I’m going through..

Thanks for another great! I got micro needling done for pitted acne scarring but you’re right it doesn’t work out as well at home. Got it done at a dermatologist and thought he charged a lot more he used a deeper needle and I think it was more effective and overall safer! I still think brands like ordinary are good because they are quite affordable and accessible to most. Well done for hitting 100m views, will be 1billiom next!

WHY IS IT THAT YOUR PRODUCTS DO NOT HAVE INCREDIENTS LABLED ON THEM SO THAT WE CAN ALL READ EXACTLY WHAT IS IN THE PRODUCT As recommended.I Personally have used your products for 9months unfortunately I found no difference in my skin at all. The first 2 to 3 weeks I saw a change but nothing after that. I had to stop because the products are very small and expensive for me at the moment.
