      Thank you so very much sister. Saturday and Monday were rough days for me missing Candace, but in between we had this meeting and a full day in God's house. I know its by God's grace alone I can preach.

    I have missed this kind of powerful preaching! we experienced the watering down of the gospel and the doing away with teaching on the Holy Spirit in the church we attended for many years, which we sadly had to leave for many reasons. we want to find another church that preaches from the word and actually believes what it says, but they are very hard to come by! Thank you Pastor for being spirit filled and lead, it is a breath of fresh air.

    This was extraordinary! Best teaching ever and exposed the false doctrines of the Baptism of the Holy Ghost.
    You brought to light a few things that have been taught about it that were really incorrect and now I need to go back and listen to it again and again there was so much truth. Thank you Brother.

    Pastor, our church went dark. Removed the cross because they claimed some complained about too much light coming in through it (the sun shone in through it). Anyway, a huge screen was placed, new sound system and they transformed to a concert hall. We eventually left. Ty for this message.

    Amen! I love your message pastor Keith! ❤️ If the believer knows Who sent the Holy Ghost and what His [Holy Ghost] Purpose is, then they, legitimately, can pray to the Holy Ghost: for having available the Holy Ghost. This is by logical implication from John 14:26 via 》[in my name]. Unless, 'The Comforter' [identity] isn't Equivalent to the Holy Ghost or the Power in Christ. Jesus still hears the prayers via the same implication.
    Hmmm...Holy Ghost was mentioned 5x in this message! God blesses 🔥🔥🔥👍
    John 14:26 (KJV)
    "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."

      I understand what you are saying brother and I would say that it certainly isnt 'heresy' to do so. He the Holy Spirit also is God, a triune God. But my point is that it was neither biblical nor the practice of the early church to pray direct to the Holy Spirit. In fact Christ taught us HOW to pray and WHO to pray to. We pray directly to the Father in the name of Jesus. This is His explicit teaching. And many scriptures shopw it is by the power of the holy Spirit. God bless

    What about when you see what happened for instance with Lonnie Frisbee in California, USA in the late '60s and early ''70s as well as on Mother's Day 1980? He would say, after preaching, (often speaking of crazy things like how he made the anointing oil recipe that is in the Bible and then added witch hazel to it as well "because Edgar Cayce [a channeler] used to use it a lot" and poured it all over people.) He seemed to have no fear of God and he would tell people to "be in expectation" and after his "sermon" he would say something like "Holy Spirit, come" and wave his hand in a sweeping motion and people all over the room (about 80%) would be falling down and then making noises people called "speaking in tongues," and one was roaring like a lion. Some people could not get up for hours. Some were laughing. Some were weeping. Some were passed out and did not waken for hours -- and were carried to their cars.
    I was studying this whole phenomenon and Lonnie Frisbee's life. I never heard of Lonnie speaking against homosexuality in his sermons and I never heard of his speaking of fear of God. He would do nutty things like wear different outfits. Okay. Well, God had Ezekiel do crazy things too, but dressing like a priest? Really? In his 3-book autobiography he wrote it as if a "tell-all" where he appeared to be trying to be kind toward those who had hurt him, but was very descriptive of his being raped as a young child repeatedly by a babysitter who was an older boy and even once by his stepfather -- and also gave details of being raped as an adult by two different men (all horrifying, these stories). However in his book he himself said he did NOT get the HIV/AIDS (which caused his death in 1993) from being raped. That was the ONLY admission in all three books that he had willingly practiced homosexual acts (other than mentioning that when he lived as a hippie artist in San Francisco he had "done everything and everybody," which in hippie talk was a definite indication of such practice). Other than those two things he professed he was heterosexual.
    Pastors in California, including Chuck Smith and John Wimber, were hearing from others that Lonnie had a secret life with such practices. (He had been divorced for many years by 1980.) They got so they would not even SPEAK to him.
    The Bible tells us that false prophets will show SIGNS AND WONDERS. It DOES sound WONDERful when you read and hear about these "outpourings" that happened again and again just about wherever Lonnie went, including around the world and in Baptist churches where the parishioners did not believe in such things, people were falling down and laughing and weeping and babbling in strange languages. TELL ME PLEASE, HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT THE OUTPOURINGS IN THE SO-CALLED "JESUS REVOLUTION" OF THE '60s and beyond are NOT from false prophets? HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS. I REALLY WANT TO KNOW.
    p.s. And how about such like Kenneth Copeland where where people fall, are laughing and crying and some walk on all fours and bark like dogs and Copeland tells people all Christians who are Protestant should now unite with the Pope -- and had the Pope actually on the Internet "telephone" with visuals to his "church"? PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW HOW TO DISCERN.

    What does grieve the Holy Spirit mean?

    • @chrisart7393
      @chrisart7393 Год назад +2

      If I grieved you, I would make you intensely unhappy by deliberately doing something I know that you hate. God hates all manner of sin. Jesus paid for our sins with His precious blood at Calvary's cross. Born again Christians who deliberately play with sin are grieving the Holy Spirit. Someone who is struggling and genuinely wants the victory is a different matter. God knows each heart. I hope this helps you.

      @@LimerickCityChurch Thank you LCC! I thought it was to put more emphasis on the Spirit then the Son of God. A lot of churches look at the Spirit instead of the Blood of Jesus Christ. The Blood cleanses, the Spirit guides.
