I have got a text to drive around with a small sticker on my car and get pay thousand dollar a week for it. So, I decided to look this up cause it sounded like a scam to me.
My mom is considered elderly she didnt know any better. The check arrive today i told yeh no gimme dat so i can figure out whom to contact. Made her block the # days ago
Someone just sent me this from Dasani Water saying the same thing that the check will be for 3100.50 but 800 is mine and to reach out to them when it comes but I knew it was a scam lol..
I got notified 2 weeks ago to buy 5 Walmart gift card for$500 each and notify the guy once I get that check for 2900. Also for the car wrapping scam too
Never Click on links from people you don't know. Once you receive the check it ask you to deposit the check in your bank once you do it will take a few days for the bank to determine the check is lnk legit you will be asked to a large amount other money back to the individual. You will be responsible for the money possible face charges.
Hey just one of those in mail today for “burn energy drinks” for $4,000.15 to deposit as soon it arrives then send 3000.00 to god know who by text with name, amount, check numbers after it clears and keep $1,000.00 for myself…😂😂😂😂right RED FlAG ….have it for a souvenir now..
Idk but they’re getting bad, like they’re everywhere too. And they are able to control a lot of stuff of ours. For example, I went to google to look up a number for car insurance and they were able to make it seem like they were the legit insurance company, but asked for my card number over the phone. Yes it was a red flag but if I wasn’t truly being skeptical and they didn’t ask right away to verify my info by a card number, they definitely could of gotten me and I could see how they would get other people. We just gotta be careful but they’re everywhere

If someone thinks that sending a bunch of gift cards is legit, they have much larger issues than just that scam.
If it sounds too good to be true then it really is too good to be true
Im glad I researched this. It seemed like it might be a scam. I haven't received a check yet but I won't be depositing it in my account.
People are taken "every day" because they are:
1. Idiots
2. Greedy

I received one of cashier's checks. It came in a fed ex envelope. I have enough money problems. I'm not dealing with that

This is why I always call reputable businesses that deal with my car and I never hire anyone unless they’re highly rated!
