pretty amazing and a labor of love of a real weapon.
Great job!
Thanks so much Gunner's Mate Lowney for the in-depth look into the powder handling process. I don't believe I've ever seen a video of the whole process. Well done.
Next: projectile handling?
It sure is!
Thanks Tom!
Father-in-law was a plank owner on the sister ship USS Indiana BB58. 4-42 through 11-44.
That was just great! I could listen to Tom talk about this stuff all day.
These videos are a great resource - thank you Tom! I'm going to be helping chaperone a school group later this week and these videos are giving me all sorts of helpful tidbits that I can share with the students.
Awesome
Just stumbled into the video, but being from Mass I loved it. My dad was on a carrier in WW II nd told me about the twenty mile range of the battleship 16" guns. I never heard that they could get within three yards over all that distance. Awesome
Great video, love the passion with the explanation, of the comparison between BB-2 and BB-59.
You guys should make a video on how the Battle of Jutland influenced Big Mame design
