I hear you but every culture is different, and especially if you were brought up being taught that tomatoes is a vegetable. So to pop up decades later and say oh tomatoes is actually a fruit is hard for some ppl to accept. And I'm an example and also for many. To him it's a vegetable so we have to accept his culture.
