I just received my first skein of this Drops yarn today in pale pink - heavenly! I am using one strand of it with one strand of Estako fingering weight yarn in the color nude. They make a lovely blend and are so easy to work with! Like true silk going through my fingers. Can't wait to try this pattern with them. Thank you so much for your great video!

I've got a big cone of the lace weight wool and been trying to think what to make with it. I think just solved it for me. A nice evening wrap with this gorgeous pattern. So simple but very effective. Thank you Laura. xxJane

Thank you for this lovely tutorial. I recently bought this yarn and did not know how to crochet with it. This treble crochet looks very nice and is easy. I made a few mistakes and had to go back using a large sewing needle to carefully undue the yarn so it would not knot. My yarn is a soft lilac color.

Love this pattern. It’s beautiful. I have a similar thin yarn I will try for myself.
I’m from the uk and I think US terms was so much easier to pick up too. When I first learned to crochet on RUclips it was mostly US channels I gravitated to. Also I found many more written patterns were in US terms, so I’ve only ever crochet in US terms. Even though I now know our UK terms I never use them lol.

It's look brilliant in kids yarn. I tried both. Obviously with kids yarn a lot slower but what a beauty! Easy to do just for some reason first stich line feels tighter then rest otherwise -amazing what a big difference can make different yarns. Thank you!

Maybe swap to a row of foundation stitches at the beginning, that can help

Another good yarn to make this is Patons Lace, or Caron Latte Cakes. Both are very soft yarn. Love the blue yarn. Thanks for the video. Lady from Texas.

Amazing stitch! I am practicing with a smooth lace weight yarn. I have a "fuzzier" yarn on order. In the US, we call this stitch a triple, not a treble. Can't wait to get this stitch under my belt!

Hi, love your work, I’m a beginner and find your tutorials so easy to follow, I’m just having a go at this pattern using a mix yarn, it’s 78% mohair 13% wool and 9% nylon, I’m finding it a nightmare to work with 😂, but I’m carrying on to make my mother-in-law a scarf, Thankyou again for taking time to do the tutorials 😊……by the way, I’m from the UK and I also find the US terms easier to follow ❤️❤️

Thank you so much! I've been trying to find some sort of tutorial for this type of yarn for forever! Mine has been laying there for quite some time because I had no idea what to do with it. Thanks! I did it with a smaller hook, though, because I like the stitches to be a bit tighter (a 2.5 mm) :)
    You're a good teacher.

So pleased to find this tutorial with the kidsilk mohair. The way you use your hook with such close up technique was fascinating and helpful. I wonder if you leave as is or do you add a border to the ends andsides. Tx ❤

So very pretty. I am looking forward to trying this using the kid silk again. I say again because I attempted a similar pattern a few years back only I ended up with a nasty allergic reaction to the yarn. I now prewash and dry all my yarns before use. Can I ask what the multiples would be if I was creating a 5 pronged shell please as opposed to 7 and what I would count for my first row? Thank you. 😊🌸
