- Are you worried your baby's head has a flat area on it? Have you noticed they always prefer to look or sleep with their head in one direction, or keep their head tilted to one side? This video series will teach you what to watch for in regards to plagiocephaly and torticollis, provide tips on how to start correcting the flat area using counterpressure, and offer suggestions on how to make tummy time easier. We will also discuss when and where to turn for additional help (see clinic links below).
Chapter 5 in this series will discuss how to position your baby away from their flat area during sleep, other considerations (in regards to seated devices, bottle feeding, bathing and more), when a corrective helmet may be necessary, and where to turn for help (see links below).

am i wrong but you didnt cover sleeping? my baby has plagiocephely and he sleeps through the night so he sleeps a long time laying down i dont know what to do
What is your advice for older babies that sleep on their tummy on one side?
Do you have plagiocephaly too or is it just the camera angle?
Lol, no, but I do have facial asymmetry and a tendency to hold my head to the right more than the left, which seems to be making the asymmetry worse. Good job picking up on that! And yes, I have some work to do on my own neck :-)
@@milestonesphysicaltherapys869 o okay 😅 i think i just notice these things because i have plagiocephaly. My asymmetry is like the weirdest thing ever when im just looking in front my nose seems to be in the middle and when i look down my nose is more on the left side it really hurts my brain trying to figure out how this is possible 😅.
