We definitely will! We have received a lot of suggestions that we added to the wheel so there is a good chance of more songs by sabaton being landed on :)
Heck yeah deff do the history eps after you do the song, some do have 2 part history video's like "Uprising" and "Cliffs of Gallipoli" for a good live check out "Swedish Pagans " live 2019 Wacken
Thanks for the heads up! Will keep an eye out so that we react to both for any songs that have 2 parts for the history. Thanks for the suggestions, made sure we have them on the wheel
Sabaton has a song that is basically about Blitzkrieg, called "Ghost Division". It's pretty interesting that Sabaton has ended (99% of) their shows for a several years now, with "To Hell And Back" & "Ghost Division" is the traditional 1st song of their set. SABATON - Ghost Division (OFFICIAL LIVE VIDEO) ruclips.net/video/9FkYxnm70vg/видео.html A (Swedish Empire LIVE - official DVD) show from 2012 Woodstock, Poland. With 700 000+ audience, a lot of them Polish. Just the massive size of the audience is worth doing this specific video, since they do the song at every show. I like all their songs (some more than others obviously) and the history channel is great too. They always have the historian (and their friend) Indy telling the story, with always either Joakim Brodén OR Pär Sundström giving the band specific info. Joakim was 18 & Pär was 17, when Sabaton started as a bunch of local "smal town" guys in 1999 & are the only original members left (+ are the only ones to ever write lyrics for their history songs). Current lineup 2023: Joakim Brodén 1999-present (singer, main songwriter, lyrics, keyboardplayer, 3rd guitarist, history nerd) Pär Sundström 1999-present (bass, band manager, backing vocals lyrics, history nerd) Chris Rörland 2012-present (guitars, backing vocals, some song writing with Joakim) Hannes Van Dahl 2014-present (drums, backing vocals, some song writing with Joakim) Tommy Johansson 2016-present (guitars, backing vocals, some song writing with Joakim)
Interesting! We have had quite a few suggestions for Ghost Division and hearing that its about blitzkrieg makes it even more intriguing (hope the wheel lands on it soon). Thanks for providing the history/lineup of the band!
Skilled sharp-shooters that Sabaton sings about I would recommend White Death (Finland) or A Ghost In The Trences (Canada). One Of them still holds the record for most kills ever by Snipers worldwide.
Please continue doing sabaton reactions, you guys have one of the best reactions regarding sabaton, and its seems you like history. My recommendation is no bullets fly next, animated story video. Be prepared, its very emotional video. Best regards
That is really awesome to hear, thank you!! Military history was one of my favorite subjects in school. I grew up watching war films from an early age which sparked my interest! Thanks for the suggestion, we have it on the wheel :)
Indy Neidel is a historian who works with Sabaton on their songs, but he also hosts two other channels Great War (WWI) and WWII in real time. As for Sabaton, if you'd like to go down this rabbit hole you've got a lot of work and a lot of great songs. Do "No bullets fly" animated story next, just keep in mind that Sabaton's videos have to be watched from the beginning to the very end, when the screen goes black. Other songs just for starters: Christmas Truce Steel Commanders Bismarck The Unkillable Soldier all official music videos. Have fun discovering the World of Sabaton 🤘🎶🇵🇱
After the initial invasion of Anzio, a jeep patrol actually reached the outskirts of Rome unopposed. It is obvious to me that General Lucas was a fool and poor leader. You have to wonder what the result had been with a more aggressive commander. His commander, General Clark, should have been court-martialed for his asinine decision to seek fame instead of destroying the German forces. American military leadership seems to have been absent in this invasion. You should watch the movie "To Hell and Back" which shows the actions that earned him the Medal of Honor quite well. And yes, Sabaton uses a tank as the drum riser. they actually have two, one called Audie (for obvious reasons) and one called Walter. They each weigh approximately 2 tons. they also have an official Sabaton tank (a Swedish Strv K main battle tank) in the World of Tanks video game. Great reaction, keep rocking Sabaton.
Agreed, when it was brought up in this video that Clark basically betrayed the allied forces and chased a headline by going for Rome instead of sticking to the plan I was really disappointed. Probably resulted in more lives being lost due to prolonged fighting and the German forces regrouping to fight another day. Super cool they gave their tanks names! (As many tank crews did during the war and reminds me of Battlefield 1 where the tank crew treated their tank like another member). Thanks for the fun fact about them having their own tank in WOT, I used to play that game! :)
This has nothing to do with Sabaton, but check out Richard James Flaherty, also called the Giant Killer, a very special soldier, he was even smaller than Audie, 4´9", but became a green beret in the Vietnam war, after the war he worked for CIA and other branches of the US goverment.
I think you should do more sabaton and sabaton history videos
We definitely will! We have received a lot of suggestions that we added to the wheel so there is a good chance of more songs by sabaton being landed on :)

Crosses grow on Anzio is a poem by Audie Murphy that he wrote in dealing with his PTSD.
I'd reccomend the song and history of "the ballad of bull" its about Leslie Allen a hero like many of the stories songs talk about! or "40 - 1"
Made sure we have both of these added to the wheel!

Thanks for your Sabaton History reaction - great!
Glad you enjoyed!
Pretty good video, adding history to it makes it even more interesting.
Totally agree! They did a great job of neatly summarizing the history that inspired the song

All history chapters in sabaton history are great, nice you can react to them and the songs 😃🥰
Yeah, it is really unique! Any time we react to one of their songs we will also make sure to watch the history video for it :)
@@x2zchat Nice! I recommend Uprising, Hearts of Iron, Resist and Bite. 😀
As a Sabaton history fan, you get a new subscriber ;) just go on :)
Thank you for subscribing!! :)

Really fantastic look at the history! It's so sad that our heroes end up with PTSD, but no surprise. 😢

Interesting, will make sure to take a look into his story!
Wehrmacht - Sabaton. Would be very interesting to hear your takes on it's theme.
Added to the wheel!
The The ballad of bull, Hearts of Iron and The Last Stand is highly recommended. 👍
Added to the wheel!
You mentioned the tank prop in the video, that is not a fake that is a real tank that they bring on stage
Nice!
Rome libaration was before D Day. Many allied generals like Clark where slow to act exept Patton.
