It's great that they didn't gove Zak the boot when Jon decided that he was ready to perform with Savatage again. Zak is as good as vocalist as Jon in his own right and he brings his own sound to the band.
@TheCyberMantis i need to give more listens. I only have 2 albums. Will keep digging. Very impressed by the musicians. I'm sorta meh on the vocals/styling/accent. A bit monotonous for me over continued spins. I do understand they are Japanese and I take the accent in consideration. Just think she could mix up the vocal registers a bit more?

Good band, but the songwriting is far inferior to Savatage in the catchy/melodic department. Very good Speed/Power metal band though.
@@bowlingj74 I disagree. Lovebites has many "catchy/melodic" songs. Have you listened to all of Lovebites songs? They have over 60 songs.

@@bowlingj74 Asami has a pretty wide vocal range. I think she shines best on the slower ballad songs, but I like everything she does.
