  • In the post war years Lindum grew as an intermediate destination for most rail traffic into the eastern part of the UK. It became apparent that engine changes would happen more and more frequently. Here is an example of the new daily routine at Lindum. The green 0-6-2 station pilot seen at the end of the video is so worn out, I shudder to think how many hours service it has given. Two brothers are normally in charge of it, George and Jack. I new them both well. Playing trains and remembering the good old days is a splendid way to cope with the snowy weather.

    Another great running session, the best part about it is the running noise ......all without sound chips ! Just brilliant. The 2-6-4 tank loco in lined British Rail livery is one superb looking model. Please keep them coming as your videos are hugely appreciated. Thanks
