Enjoyed the set. Wish they'd played Lookfar. The vocal interplay and time switching in the first half of that song is gold. One of my favorite parts of the record.
spotify put palm on my home screen like you should check this out and I'm like ok, and fans also like tera melos and I'm like well ok then, and some of its playing and I dig it and so fans also like floatie and I'm like wtf Chicago frog rock but I skip into water recipe and it's super tasty let's have some live floatie how do they do that and a few more clicks and here I am. I'm guessing this band practices a lot. gettin it done right.
@@BangkokBlend I get it, they're not THAT unique, there's a few more bands not too far from their style in this subniche of math-rock inspired by post-punk in the style of Women/Viet Cong and the like. Still, they're very good at it and I'll never say no to a good band doing things like that. I don't need them to be the most innovative thing ever
I just played with this band at my local skate shop, they are sooo goood
I love these guys, along with palm and mothers
right?? they're like a blend of the two
Omg palm and mothers 😊😊😊😊😊😊
wish I was in Chicago tonight, Floatie is opening for Palm!
@@KevinfinityDrums Show was crazy, I just got back from it lmao
@@fawerty-rx lucky!! Hope someone captured some decent footage
This group is reaching baroque levels polyphony... Love how you can hear even more of the interplay of the different instruments in their live sound 🤙

bass vi gang
does anyone know what kind of bass he’s playing here?
Squier Vintage Modified Bass VI
it's actually a baritone guitar, not sure which model tho
not to be cringe but can some one tell me what genre this is please? it is for research purposes
Math Rock gets you there. Though their particular style borrows a lot from Adrian Belew-era King Crimson (Three of a Perfect Pair, Discipline)
math pop i guess
Aoty easy
arse of the year? weird way to put it hubert
Love u I guess…
cool, but all songs are played in one key
it's the right one
