      If you want to study for that kind of work there is a career. The name would be simply Translation and Interpretation English-Spanish-French (for example, it can be two languages or more) You must graduate with a high certification ( TOELF for example) on the languages that you dominate, most companies hire translators with levels from B2 or higher (C1, C2).
      With this profession, you can work translating books, important documents (contracts, legals docs, data) movies (subtitles) , advertisement... you can also work as an interpretator for conferences, interviews etc.
      It's a really good career, some even work as teachers.

      @zourou319 2 года назад

      @@ejsbxbeiaskd1770 I don't know if you like school or not but I just thought if you don't already you might like to know that you dont have to go through school for it. There are official exams anyone can take for levels in a language and get a certificate. You can self study and/or have a tutor if a degree takes too much time and money. You can just search what the name of the official certificate exam is of your target language and where it can be taken. For example the Japanese one is called JLPT and can only be taken twice a year and has five levels.
      Anyhow this way saves you money and time.
      Of course choose whatever you feel works for you.

    안녕하세요 제니님! 통번역대학원을 가지 않고도 번역이나 통역일을 할 수 있다는건 알고 있는데요~ 혹시 어떻게 일감(?)을 얻을 수 있는지 여쭤봐도 될까요? ㅜㅜ

      영상 속 플랫폼에서 일할 때는 할 수 있을 것 같은 일감 올라올 때마다 계속 내가 하겠다고 먼저 들이댔어요! 그러다가 얻어걸리면 최대한 빠르게 잘 하고 그 리뷰 잘 써달라 부탁하고 ㅎㅎ 또 가끔 단체문자처럼 클라이언트가 먼저 의뢰하는 경우가 있는데 최대한 다 수락을 해서 포트폴리오를 쌓았어요! 하지만 저도 완전 많이 했던 건 또 아니고, 전문분야를 정해서 한 것도 아닌 그냥 경험 삼아 한 거라서 도움이 될진 모르겠네용 ㅜㅜ

    Um a reall quick question am a middle school student and I love learning languages I currently know 3 language plus am learning 1 more language. The languages I know are German, English and hindi am currently learning korean . I wanted to ask that can we make money as a translator and what's do you think about being professional or me going in this field ? Plz reply mee ♡

    • @Emily-vx6du
      @Emily-vx6du 2 года назад

      if you go to uni/get a masters in interpretation, you can make a fairly good salary as an in house simultaneous conference interpreter. german is the highest paying language to interpret, and if interpreting into/from your native language with masters level accreditation from a prestigious university in the country you wish to work in, you could easily make a stable living. that being said, the translation industry is very competitive, and you're either going to succeed and land a great job or end up transcribing for a low salary. it would be best to pursue a job in which you can utilize your language skills while doing something like she is (freelance translating) on the side, and to then pursue a masters degree so that you have something to fall back on just in case.
