"Head Over Heels" is one of my favorite songs of all time, but _Beauty and the Beat_ was their best album for me. Not one shippable track on that album. I just remembering listening to the record when I was 7 and 8 years old (it was my sister's property, but I hijacked that shxt, and I still have it, and it's just so perfect to me). I would listen over and over because I wanted to be them. I'm like this dark-skinned black girl wishing I was a Go-Go so badly. I became a drummer because of this band. They were iconic for me.
. As usual Kathy's bass line is solid as concrete !!! Love that Charlotte changed her solo from the album version !!! Sounds more musical and not so mechanical as the album version. To check out something light hearted, look at the video from 1984 that they made for MTv and look how much Belinda looks like her son when she's in man- drag... Love ya ladies !!! Still relevant in your 60s and up to bat for 40+ years now !!!💋💋💋💋💋
42 after they broke out , after 3 years as a full fledged punk band , they still kick A$$ I always loved this song. Thank you Clem for the great fill in.
I wish the Go Go's management would upgrade the filming and sound recording of these current performances, it will become valued history... They are now Hall of Famers and only have so much time before the shows will stop. They deserve to have every possible high-def sound and video recording equipment... It's now possible to use cameras that do not interfere with the performance. And they should have ALL performances documented in high-definition sound and video. This type of tech is not expensive.... The video here is OK... But it reminds me of a 1980s Video cam Corder or someone with a good cell phone. Disappointing because "Turn to you" is rarely performed and deserves to be captured with state of art equipment and techniques.
Always thought this should have been a much bigger hit when it was released in ‘84. Especially with that video!
@@talkshow4377 Belinda has said she hates the video, but she has really bad taste.
Kathys smile still makes me melt all those years later, get well soon Gina great fill in by Clem cheers from old rocker al downunder
Talk Show in my opinion is the greatest Go Go’s album! Every track is a winner, especially “Head Over Heels” and “Yes or No”….

Yay!! About time they brought this classic back

Love it! This has been rarely performed by them but I think it is one of their best!
I do too! It’s a more representative song from their hits of what they are about.
Other than Head Over Heels, anything off the Talk Show album is rarely if not performed at all.
Belinda Carlisle is simply magnificent ♡
Love it!! We are so lucky the girls are out there rocking for us!!!
Surprised they played this one!
Me too. They rarely play it live. Its certainly a pleasant surprise.
@fundies2 ... Belinda has always said she dislikes That Song so Much‼️😒 .. it was only recently she said... it's starting to grow on Her‼️🎶💜🎶
Yeah for Elvis Ramone on the drums!
Jane just never seems to age, in fact she seems hotter than ever!
She's SO great on "Young Sheldon"!
Jane is definitely ageless and so hot!!🔥🥰
Wow you were close 👍🏻

It's you tube
Belinda Carlisle is magnificent
Where is Gina?
That was pretty bad ... but I still love these ladies and BC is so damn gorgeous.
Belinda starting to look like Michelle Pfeiffer
Belinda y tus zapatos🧐🧐🥴
Too bad Gina having some health issues and could not be on the drums!
Clem filling in though was great! ThT’s not easy to do.
what was wrong with her?
@@dannydorko7075 If I am not mistaken, Gina had had surgery on her back, and was not yet recovered at the time of this performance.
Guess she can't sing that high anymore
I was thinking the same thing, but, despite that, I think I like it this way, too.
Even Freddie Mercury avoided a lot of high notes when singing live
Sorry, they sound like a bunch of Old Dudes singing. this is a shame to the Brand, and band.
I think they sound great. It was too bad that Gina couldn't play because the tempo is slower with Clem play than Gins.
