a radiator wash out will go a long way to correcting your overheat.
Also another poster explained perfectly which direction the air flows for summer/winter

Ya we did wash it out well when we first got in going but it is pretty dusty and has worked hard since then and I deff would wash it out again but there is no water there lol we blew it out a bit with air and doesn’t seem clogged up again but will deff wash it out once we get it near a water hose again lol

Wanted to comment on your overheating issue. Your whole engine needs to be degreased as all that oil attracts even more dirt and causes the engine to overheat. Pressure washing is the only solution. After carefully PW the radiator I consider giving it some paint as it helps to keep dirt from sticking to it. I do this with all my equipment and it's saved me many issues and repairs, IMHO. Sadly few people keep their equipment clean which shortens its useful life span.

Thank you 😊 I agree is deff needs a clean! Once I get it back near running water we will be pressure washing it for sure 😊

What? Having some oily crud on your engine will overheat it?? LOL! That’s new.

That thread on the cylinder needed some cleaning with a thread file, and not just a wire brush. Might be a tool to invest a few $ into when you get to work with a lot of rusty/crusty and mangled threads.

Yall installed the rod wiper seal backwards!!! It doesn't wipe in it wipes out to keep debris from getting inside the flange. If you leave it facing in it will destroy that cylinder!!!!

I think the backup-ring on the outer static gland seal he installed at around 19:15 is on the wrong side of the o-ring as well.

when air is blowing toward the front that is summer mode blowing hot air away from operator and when the air is blowing back at the operator is winter mode i the winter you can put tarpon the side of engine and you get hot air blowing at you
