So happy to see this! I was thinking about getting this but, didn’t want to have to edit. Love that all the options are right there!

An excellent explanation of the process. One of the best I've followed.

Thank you! This video was so helpful! I would love to know if it’s possible to precut the letters on the scan n cut.

Awesome tutorial! I have had Embrilliance for awhile, but I didn't know some of the color sort tricks. Thank you so much! Now I need the Janay Bean Stitch Applique Script!

What a great explanation of what is a multi-step process. I am always so pleased with everything I have ever purchased from DBJJ. And also I2S!!

What well thought out font and a very great teaching video. Thank you so much! Excited to purchase this! Did anybody who sampled this font create an offset? I have SA3 and I’m thinking about going around it and making an offset applique first and then stitching the font.

I love this alphabet! Thank you so much for the great tutorial. I usually create SVG files using Embrilliance Essentials. To create the SVG, I need a complete placement stitch for the entire file. Is there any way to get a complete one-file placement stitch? I think using an SVG file in my scan n cut for this alphabet would be really helpful. Thanks for any advice!

My suspicion is it will not work because the placement steps for the individual letters were originally digitized as open objects in multiple colorstops. After the colorsort, the top of the letters stitch from left to right, then the bottom of the letters stitch from left to right, then the holes. Even if you set the three placements steps to the same thread color, it's technically not a closed object. That being said, I personally have never saved SVG files to precut fabric on a Scan-n-Cut so it's not a software feature I use. There may be a way that I'm unaware of. ~Janay~

I just had this exact thought. I have a cricut, unfortunately. But with the scan n cut II wonder could you print out the template and then scan the print out (turn off the crosshairs) and scan the image and you could make the SVG with that?

@@amyroles you should be able to do that. According to Becky at Powertools with Thread, she scans in all kinds of stuff and makes SVG files all the time. 😉

Will this work with an SVG file and if so could you make a video with that process?

Quick question- will it still work out if I change the colors so all the outline colors are the same and all the bean stitch is another color to only have 2 steps?

    • @JanayTrammel
      @JanayTrammel 6 месяцев назад +3

@pennynoel6921 After you have done the colorsort and rearranged the steps so it stitches in the proper sequence, yes, you can set all three pink steps to the same thread color and all three blue steps to the same color so you do not have to hit "start" on your machine between each step.

Help, I don't have Embrilliance, so can you help me? I see so many, and I don't know the one I need to do this project and more. My embroidery machine is just sitting I need to start using it, and this looks like fun and great gift ideas.

Thank you for the video! However, I’d like to cut the whole word out for scan n cut!
When I change to appliqué position ( in embrilliance) the lower case m’s are cut off even when they are svg. And the inside a’s don’t show. I’m evidently missing something???
A friend wants this mama I can’t seem to figure out how to do it so I can use my scan n cut!
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks Debbie

If you use a capital letter on the second font (LC) it gives you the first lower case letter of the name, where the left side of the letter is closed.
