Her music career was incredible but her romantic relationships were frequently less so. Her first husband, Matt Lattanzi allegedly had affairs and Patrick McDermott her boyfriend went missing! Though she found happiness with her husband John Easterling, her daughter Chloe Rose Lattanzi suffered from her time in the spotlight. Although she has a stage four cancer diagnosis, she’s intent on staying positive and is even offering off some of her incredible movie memorabilia in a charity auction! Her legacy may have many tragic moments but it’s ultimately hard not to be inspired by her positive outlook and dedication to doing good. It’s crazy to think that she came so close to turning down the role that made her famous because she worried she was too old for the part!

I met her once when I worked at an airport fueling airplanes. Her daughter was about 2. Olivia is one of the most beautiful and kindest people I've met.
So how much time did you spend with her?
@@swingarmer Actually it wasn't very long. She was carrying her daughter and her daughter dropped her stuffed animal. I picked it up and handed it back to her. Olivia thanked me and smiled. I told her she was welcome and that I was a fan. I've met a few other celebrities and she was by far the sweetest and most normal of them.

I learned of her death just a few minutes ago and feel so sad over her death. My condolences to her daughter and rest of the family. We will miss you and loved you for all your beautiful song. May you Rest In Peace. Music will always be there for the world so thank you for your wonderful gift to all of us.

It is pretty normal for people to lose people over years nothing different from other families. She had a good life and a good start. All that was meant to be, was written before she was born.
Olivia was a huge success before Grease! She had numerous awards and many number 1 singles. Olivia is a music icon and I hope she continues to do well and is with us for years.

Went to one of her concerts when Have You Ever Been Mellow was at the top of the music charts. Hearing her sing live was amazing....every note she sang was clear and pure as a bell. Not many singers today can sing live without some kind of electronic help of some kind. Wonderful woman all around and deserves everyones admiration.

One of the most down to earth,graceful, humble and talented people I ever met. Having the voice of an angel isn't bad either! Love her madly!
In her very early years she was doing a local show and my dad was her personal security guard , it was his job to look after her. I remember him saying was a lovely girl she was. I've always loved ONJ.
She's also a huge advocate for cannabis which is a better alternative than chemo or morphine.
Being Australian, I grew up with Olivia in our household on tv and on vinyl. I always adored her and had so much love and respect for her and after watching this, that just deepened, Grease is still a favourite and Xanadu is a personal fave track and film. Olivia you’re a rare gem I will always adore you 💖🌟🦋☀️
This woman is truly inspirational. I fortunately got to see her perform in concert a few years back at Universal in Orlando, and I can easily say that it was one of the best performances I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing! She’s got natural talent, so strong, and is such a pure soul. I’m hoping to read her book soon! Great video!💕

Had a couple of jam sessions with her and some friends when she was about 14/15. She had an uncanny ability of embroidering melodies and harmonies around Peter Paul and Mary and Kingston Trio songs. Already a great talent then! A sweet girl has become a sweet lady.

Olivia was and still is to this very day My Crush. Though I am in my middle 40s now I grew up listening to all of Olivia's music not to mention. All of her movies and of course Grease is the Word. But one of my favorite movie of all time is Xanadue great movie and soundtrack.

I knew some of what olivia had gone through but its a testament to her strength that she is still standing and still embracing life to the full what a strong woman and once again it shows that you can have all the fame and money but it cant always bring you health and happiness though thankfully she seems to have found some happiness with her new husband.

I knew almost all of this, I've been, dare I say, in love with her since Xanadu days, and have watched that movie over 1,000 times. Seriously, that many. I was even part of her fan club in my teens because of it. She met Matt on the set of Xanadu, they hadnt cast the male star as of yet, and she needed someone to practice her lines and dancing, singing with the rollerskates on, and Matt just happened to be the one there.
I was a Senior in High School in 1978 when I saw Grease and would have never guessed in a Million years she was 30 years old at all. I also had no idea her life was so amazing and crazy /tragic at the same time. I was so in love with her and her music she was so beautiful and still is.
