- Wendy Williams is being described as "permanently incapacitated" due to her battle with dementia and aphasia. Her guardian, attorney Sabrina Morrissey, made the disturbing revelation in court filings. The former talk show host was the subject of a Lifetime documentary, "Where is Wendy Williams?" The special was criticized for showing Williams at her lowest. looking out of it and perhaps not fully aware of what was going on.
Dementia is such a horrible thing. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. 😥

she's so young though 😵💫😵💫My grandmother had dementia too but on her late 80's, which is sort of "normal" and somewhat expected but Wendy is so young to be receiving that diagnosis and the fact that she has a guardian means that her condition escalated ...
That’s how my grandma is right now. It’s hard to watch and even harder to see my parents struggle with it.
If you don't mind me asking could you tell me if he was on medication for dementia?
Frontotemporal dementia, went through it with my mum.
You become bedbound, totally incontinent, fewer and fewer words spoken, accept less and less food & water until frailty ends you. You'll have lost the person as you knew them years before and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it.
Happened to my mother. Very hard to watch. I miss her so much.

I write this in tears just remembering how awesome and warm hearted my Grandmother was. Its not easy seeing a loved one you remember being so vibrant and lively slowly wither away and you cant do anything about it.

My grandmother has this as well and it's a real struggle. She's 93. It didn't start till she turned 92. She was someone who remembered everyone and was very mobile (moving around fully aware of her surroundings) till she turned 92. She started to forget her children's names (my uncle and my mum) and would only remember mine (her granddaughter). It got worse and now she can't move around, she doesn't speak much and she's forgotten who I am. She isn't aware of her surroundings anymore and would undress (remove clothes amd her adult diapers) in public places. It's really sad how fast dementia progresses. It feels as though you've actually lost a loved one even when they're not dead. 😢😢😢😭😭😭
Look up Hal Cranmer, the director of multiple nursing homes in Arizona, and his interview with Dr. Anthony Chaffee.
Because Dementia is also known as diabetes type III, he cures his resident's with a carnivore diet. It's a ketogenic diet, that provides the brain with keton body's it can run on, because glucose no longer gets sufficiently absorbed. He has a lot of success.

I know ppl say this is from her drinking and drug use, however, it’s important to note that one of the things thought to cause this type of dementia is thyroid problems. IIRC, she was diagnosed with Grave’s disease several years ago (also what can cause the bulging eyes), which makes this dementia diagnosis 2 1/2 times more likely.
Thank you. I was going to mention thyroid disease.
Grave's disease...?
I also noticed her eyes and thought, 'Has anyone checked her thyroid?'. Thyroid disease is sneaky and can be very devastating.

Um, you forgot the part about how study after study shows that excessive alcohol and drug use makes one more susceptible to contracting thyroid problems and Graves' disease in particular.

Praying for you Wendy.
Be careful the energy that you put out in this world because it comes back multiplied.
Why is it so many celebrities end up with dementia and aphasia. Maybe someone is trying to keep them quiet
Is dementia responsible for Wendy turning herself into a gargoyle via plastic surgery?
1 word... Diddy
Exactly! That’s what Sloan Bella said. They do
Something with these celebrities brains!!! 😢
That’s what ya get for not going to the GYM and not taking CARE of yourself ‼️🤣😆
This is very suspicious. How does someone go from having the largest TV show to having dementia within a year, and then go fully incapacitated? This has never happened before. We've all witnessed many celebs with dementia, like Robin Williams, Tony Bennett, Ronald Reagan and Rita Hayworth etc. But it took many years to affect them just 30%. No one is fully incapacitate within just a year. This needs to be investigated.
For Example, the legendary singer Tony Bennett was diagnosed in 2016 at the age of 89. Despite his condition, yet he still continued to perform and engage in music, which he believed helped keep his brain active. He passed away at the age of 96 on July 21, 2023.
But here you have "young" Wendy Williams going incapacitated within a year? Just makes no sense.
Early onset dementia. It usually happens to people in their 60s. Thats just my guess but im not a doctor.
Among practitioners of iniquity it is called a "liquid lobotomy."
It is not that rare. Depends on the dementia type. If she drank or did drugs a lot, could happen real fast like this. I feel bad for her. I wouldn't want to wish dementia on anyone.
Look how fast AIDS killed Eazy E
"Never happened before" 😂 wtf? That's so far from true. Within 15 months, my grandpa went from occasional forgetfulness to thinking he was in 1957 Atlantic Canada and that he was being held captive by the hospital staff. And it happens even faster with other people.
My mother had dementia and would ask everyone who came to see her..."wheres Dusty, When is Dusty coming to see me" When I did see her she would not look at me nor talk to me, acted like I was not there, looking everywhere but at me...then when the next person came, she again asked where I was...dementia is horrible...for her and for loved ones!!!!
I WISH EVERYONE WHO HAS CONTACT WITH THIS DISEASE THE BEST OF LUCK!!!!
