@@leplessis8179 My late wife and parents were great dancers. I'm afraid that although I have been a professional musician all my working life I never managed the art of the dance! Two left feet maybe? Thanks for commenting, PAUL ComptonLodgeStudios in the Rhondda.
@@ComptonLodgeStudios Paul, bonjour, thank you for your message. French, but once lived in Eweny, by Bridgend - long time since now. I also got paid as a musician, once, back in the 1960s in the USA - bass guitar, long hair, chased by the girls! Wish someone would chase me now ..... A bientot, Claud.
The strange thing is that I can see aspects of Michael Jackson's dancing style in this performance as well as the white socks and gloves . I wonder if he was influenced ?
It was well known that Michael loved Benny Hill and I'm quite sure he struck up a friendship with him so it wouldn't surprise me if he got to appreciate other unique British comedians through Benny.
You can see clearly that this is how Michael Jackson developed both his dancing style and the Moonwalk. Short trousers, white socks and gloves. He just copied Nat The Rubber Man.
Dainty by name ? And Dainty on his feet 😃 great to watch again 😆👏
Thanks for commenting Cerberus Canine Security Seervices, PAUL.

Nat Jackley was one of the bus passengers on the Beatles Magical Mystery Tour.

Fantastic Fred!
Thank you 😊
They were both very skilled dancers. I heard that Billy had training in ballet !!!!
This makes me laugh.
One of the best was Billy. They don't make em like that anymore.!
Max Wall also did this kind of thing.
He did a lot of this sort of thing plus a lot more as well. Quite a "Character" to say the least!
Some of us still do.
Even when trying to dance correctly.

Looks really similar to the routines that Max Wall and Richard-Mr Pastry-Hearne did.🕺
Thanks Comeon Man, Cheers! PAUL ComptonLodgeStudios.
Dainty actually did a routine as Mr Pastry doing the lancers on one of the royal variety performances. It is on RUclips.
Is that Bentine and Milligan at the back?

That's quite a thought Comeon Man - there's nothing "new" really! Thanks for commenting - PAUL.
You're not far off, in fact he got the moonwalk from seeing Billy Dainty perform on a visit to London. Absolutely true, look it up.
Billy Dainty...from Dudley
People used to laugh at this !!!!!
Michael Jackson moonwalk
I'm 54 and don't know who he is. Tho I know who max wall is and they seem similar
