I love that look of the 1991 YJ JEEP WRANGLER. The balance and the proportion of the body design are so perfect and they suit my taste. I want to own one like that someday.
I would be so happy with that Jeep. The only things I would change (if it was mine) would be to fix the heater core and add air conditioning. Otherwise, it's gorgeous!!
Those seats are the best part if you ask me. They don't look out of place. Jeep made black seats with JEEP printed on them over and over in the same style, just slightly differently done. I probably only think it's cool because I have a YJ and a 928.
I have the exact same steering wheel in my 92'. My steering column broke and the nicest parts car I could find was a set of keys on a floorboard. The steering column I did find works with the welded steering wheel. But I lost my intermittent wipers. It's the only option I had other than a hard top..
i have a '92 YJ as well...was a 5 spd 2.5l as well, and on 33" tires...i like the proportions, but the power/speed was a concern for me...in the middle of an LS swap and converting to an AX15 trans.
Hey awesome video. I really like those LED Headlight. Can you possible link the ones you got because I have the same jeep and need new headlights. Thanks
Nice job! Id stick with the sport roll bar! Love the look of those. I have a TJ and I’ve never liked the look of the family roll bar. But that’s just my opinion. Your Jeep looks great!
you can cut diamond plate (or any aluminum) with a regular wood cutting band saw/blade. I do it all the time...cuts like butter. After awhile just get a new blade (a wood-cutting blade). Also can use a regular carbide saw blade (in a table saw or chop saw) to cut aluminum but wear safety glasses or a face shield. Much cheaper than paying someone else to cut it for you. You can bend the diamond plate around pipe to get a curve and use a mallet if needed etc....don't be a city boy.... do it yourself! Geeze it's amazing how many guys pay others to do easy shit.
Looks awesome ,im redoin an 87,today shocks n boomerang shckles today ,well shackles on but cant line up holes on leafspring ,by the way was shackles part of yours ,did u have a tech for lining leafsprings?
I bought one for a low price the chasis it’s in horrible condition do you think I can restore to safe working conditions By the way yours looks amazing
how did u paint all your seats and roll bar cover? also where did u get the center console what’s it called? i just bought a 1990 wrangler yj and i’m planning on doing a ton of stuff to it. it’s pretty much bone stock right now.
Tanner Rauschenberger check the playlist for videos on the painting. I wasn’t great at labeling them back then, but you will find them. That console was homemade and came with the Jeep.
im 19 going on 20 but i got a jeep LJ when i was 17 and its been a totally amazing vehicle. I originally wanted a two door xj or a yj, but saw the LJ and it was love at first sight
anthony cantando nice! Don't use the RustOleum like I did. It's not true black; more gray. I'd get automotive black from the auto parts store. I need to redo mine.
Does anyone know if it's possible to buy that type of roll cage aftermarket, I've been looking around for one like you have in the vid but I keep on seeing the "family" roll cages for sale
Mr.Dongosaurus Rex I see these on Craigslist for sale all the time. People practically give them away because they want the family style bars. I've tried to find the family style with no luck! Maybe we should trade! Lol
hahaha. It's just so shiny! My buddy Sam got the same mirrors for his TJ, same complaint, as soon as you start to roll they vibrate like mad. Makes you a little less likely to gett pulled over though.
Hey love your videos I would love to know if you live in southern California I would love to get some tips. I live in San Diego and watching your videos is awesome. Thanks in advance
Trying to save for one. Probably looking to spend $4000-6000. Curious what you do for work since you seem to be have an awesome jeep and gtr. Assuming Computer engineer? I'm in SoCal as well (LA)
Jacob Smith to paint the padding? I used the rustolium for plastic. It worked great! I used semi-gloss with a fog of flat over it to take away some of the shine.
Assuming you haven't re-geared, how much have these 33 tires hurt your power? I have a 95 YJ 4 banger with 30s and I'm lucky if I can hit 70 mph flooring it. :P
Blame Truth: The Original Commentator correct. The gears are still factory, as far as I know. I'm not too concerned about its speed since I rarely drive it on the freeway.
Dimitri Sevastos they're a lot of fun, and parts are inexpensive and everywhere. Rust can be a problem depending on where you live. They hold their value like crazy.
FYI - When they started putting AC in Jeeps (before they even called them Wranglers) many said, "It ain't a Jeep." We're a long ways from that now but to be honest most of them rolling off the assembly line today have lost the idea of the Jeep. As someone said - "Grocery getters".

So beautiful and I love the bumper. I fits the look of the YJ
glad to see I'm not the only one with a 4 inch lift and 33s. most I see are stock or way over the top
Yeah, this seems to be the right combination. It's my third Wrangler with this set up.
My 95 has a 4" lift amd 33s.proComps. black..i love it
Same here 👌
I just bought a 1990 yj and I will be watching your vids from the beginning for sure. I hope mine looks that good someday
jeep looks gorgeous! You've really treated that baby right!
Jason thank you!
I would be so happy with that Jeep. The only things I would change (if it was mine) would be to fix the heater core and add air conditioning. Otherwise, it's gorgeous!!
Very nice. I've got 33's on my CJ7 and as a spare and your right it is heavy.
Nice,I have a 92 yj with the 2.5 inline4
Jeep looks really nice! like the way it's set up... :)
VERY NICE, I ALSO HAVE THE 1991 YJ 2.5... USED MY JACK SPACE UNDER THE HOOD TO PLACE AN AIR COMPRESSOR FOR ON-BOARD AIR... GREAT LOOKING JEEP...
Team Punisher thank you and thanks for the comment!
Absolutely beautiful machine.
That Jeep looks awesome, those wheels really stand out, everything is awesome, excellent job
Alex thank you!
Those seats are the best part if you ask me.
They don't look out of place. Jeep made black seats with JEEP printed on them over and over in the same style, just slightly differently done.
I probably only think it's cool because I have a YJ and a 928.
billybobjoe198 right. I know the seats you mention. I also love Porsche!
Dude, beautiful lay out, and thanks I'm building one-- hope it looks as good as yours!
Albert Garcia thank you very much! Good luck.
Sweet YJ! I've always wanted one but I got myself a K5 Blazer instead.
awesome YJ! those porsche seats are too cool!
Mines clean but yours is CLEAN
One of the best looking YJ mods I've seen.
FunWithAJ thank you!
Looking great man!
Thanks a lot!
Nice YJ
I have the exact same steering wheel in my 92'. My steering column broke and the nicest parts car I could find was a set of keys on a floorboard. The steering column I did find works with the welded steering wheel. But I lost my intermittent wipers. It's the only option I had other than a hard top..
That Saginaw column was so flimsy!
Really good looking ride. Excellent work on that YJ! Regearing to 4.88's will completely change the power output. Scott
I have thrown a lot of $$$ at my TJ too. Just Empty Every Pocket (JEEP). lol Keep us updated on the progress you make. Scott
Nice ride 💪💪💪
i have a '92 YJ as well...was a 5 spd 2.5l as well, and on 33" tires...i like the proportions, but the power/speed was a concern for me...in the middle of an LS swap and converting to an AX15 trans.
Awesome yj !!! This video helped me with ideas 💡😁
I love the way the jeep turned out! I was keeping up with this build since the beginning and you motivated me to get a YJ myself lol
Jay300 it's such a good project if you can find one for a good price!
Yeah i was actually able to find one for a pretty good price but it needs a lot of work done haha Hopefully the journey to fix it up isn't too bad.
Hey awesome video. I really like those LED Headlight. Can you possible link the ones you got because I have the same jeep and need new headlights. Thanks
images.app.goo.gl/W2y2L8P6ACvLRQaEA. Not cheap! Lol
You did a nice job. I like it looks clean.
sweet ride , i have a 1990 jeep yj with 4.5 lift and some 33x12.50-15
JEEP YJ 4WD thanks! I’ve had several comments on this Jeep today. I wish I never sold it!
Cool YJ! I’m looking for rear view mirrors that install like that?
I have to have CD. That would be a Must for me.
Just started on my 94 2.5 been sitting 8 yrs needs a fuel
Sending unit an pump
What a beauty 🤠
Bellissima. What did u use to paint the roll bar paddings?
Thank you. Vinyl and fabric paint. Several companies make it. Try Duplicolor
Beautiful Jeep man! I've got a pretty much stock '95 and I'm definitely gonna take some inspiration from the things you've done!
Good luck with yours!
Dam thing super clean
Hey man beautiful Jeep, can you please put the link for the rear bumper? Thanks man God bless
Sorry, that was many years ago. I don’t have it. Try the four wheel parts website. I think I got it from them.
Looks sick! I remember when you first got this for a steal! It's looking so great congrats!!
Thanks! It's been a long but fun road.
Nice job! Id stick with the sport roll bar! Love the look of those. I have a TJ and I’ve never liked the look of the family roll bar. But that’s just my opinion. Your Jeep looks great!
Thanks! I sold it a few years ago.

You did a phenomenal job dude..,.love the red accents!
Thanks! I will continue to mess around with it as time and budget permits!
Looks great!! Good job.
My next car someday
Looks awesome ,im redoin an 87,today shocks n boomerang shckles today ,well shackles on but cant line up holes on leafspring ,by the way was shackles part of yours ,did u have a tech for lining leafsprings?
Mine came with these shackles, if I remember correctly.
Man, that is a clean jeep! I love it! Keep up the work, my man.
Jonny the man 23 thanks for the comment! Check out my two other vehicle projects I have going. More Jeep to come!
Awesome video. Jeep came out great man.
Thanks!
Looks like my 92.. Same wheels and tires.
Love it
Nice Jeep! Do you know who makes the front bumper/brush guard?
It was homemade and came on the jeep.
Is your main gear shift lever taller than the stock? I like the look of it.
The extension? Yes.
I bought one for a low price the chasis it’s in horrible condition do you think I can restore to safe working conditions
By the way yours looks amazing
Victor Manuel hard to say without seeing it. Thank you!
Dude! Where did you get the front bumper?
how did u paint all your seats and roll bar cover? also where did u get the center console what’s it called? i just bought a 1990 wrangler yj and i’m planning on doing a ton of stuff to it. it’s pretty much bone stock right now.

Beautiful man, I love it!
zimsjeep thank you! It's one that I doubt I'll ever sell (unless an amazing deal comes along!)

That is so dope
สวยงาม รถยนต์ รุ่นนี้
Nice job man
mike szczesniak thanks!
You got your audio player in without cutting your dash panel. What mount are you using to make that happen?
narles25 correct. I just used the stock mount that came with this stereo. It was pure luck! It fits perfectly without any trimming.
I just recently bought a 95 yj and was wondering what you think I should upgrade first.
Chase Glasscock nice. I'd make sure the maintainace is done first. Plugs, wires and filters.
Nice
Nice I'm 15 and I'm getting a wrangler for my bday I only like the yj and tj models
Nice! You will love it.
Get a yj. way easier to learn mechanics. I bought mine when I was 15
im 19 going on 20 but i got a jeep LJ when i was 17 and its been a totally amazing vehicle. I originally wanted a two door xj or a yj, but saw the LJ and it was love at first sight
+nick tillman I like my 87 yj before all the technology
the engine arnt the most powerful on the yhs but they are great lost long time
What brand of black paint do you use? Cleaning up my 95 as well! Going after your look!
anthony cantando nice! Don't use the RustOleum like I did. It's not true black; more gray. I'd get automotive black from the auto parts store. I need to redo mine.
Hey thanks for the reply. You should check out my jeep walk around!
anthony cantando I sure will!
$1200 total for the tires are a killer deal
Yeah, set of 5 delivered!
Total steal!
Cool Jeep......
Adebowale Adesida thanks for the comment!
Hey, what kind of paint did you use to paint your seats?
pooh k I used Dupli Color vinyl and fabric paint. I have two videos in this playlist. I'm very happy with the results.
Looks like you have a Dana 30 in the rear, or am I wrong? With 33s you might snap an axle or two. Any trouble yet?
Sorry Dana 35.
Hey man that's a great jeep yj, I have a 89 yj, I was just wondering were you bought the rear tire license plate mount
gustavo mendoza thanks! I think it was eBay. You can get them anywhere
OhYeahAboutThat thanks for the quick response, I'm just waiting to get mine back from the mechanic and I'll buy that license plate mount
gustavo mendoza good luck!
hella dope jeep!!
mfp1 p thanks!
what color black is the diamond plate. gloss black???
MrSlickmonster6973 semi-gloss black Rustoleum on the diamond plate.
Does anyone know if it's possible to buy that type of roll cage aftermarket, I've been looking around for one like you have in the vid but I keep on seeing the "family" roll cages for sale

Im in love with your jeep its beautiful i just bought a 91 as welll but was wondering how did you paint the rails that hold the bikini top black?
Thanks. They were already black but just used spray paint.
OhYeahAboutThat soo mines are grey soo how would i paint them black or make them black
Julian Salazar simple. Just clean them then spray paint them with flat or satin spray paint from the hardware store.
OhYeahAboutThat ok and how do you take them out?
Did it come with the center console?
Yes but it was homemade.
what speaker boxes are those by the backseat? Want to install on my 92'
Santa Moon.tech they are just generic 6x9 boxes that came with the Jeep. I think you can even find them at Walmart
OhYeahAboutThat 3

Arturo Ramire

Mall Crawler!
*looks back through videos, spits out coffee
Is that off road!?!
Hey! The mall has a gravel parking lot for holiday overflow!
hahaha. It's just so shiny!
My buddy Sam got the same mirrors for his TJ, same complaint, as soon as you start to roll they vibrate like mad. Makes you a little less likely to gett pulled over though.
+UndergroundTrev eh, a small price to pay for having no doors. You should try it sometime 😁
I roll without doors all the time, no mirrors though, I'm just a badass like that...
Hey love your videos I would love to know if you live in southern California I would love to get some tips. I live in San Diego and watching your videos is awesome. Thanks in advance
I’m also in SD. I sold this Jeep earlier this year but always willing to help.
OhYeahAboutThat Oh that’s sucks your jeep looked great man. Is their any way you could add me on Facebook. Do you still have a jeep or not any more ?
Are you on Instagram? Same as my channel name.
Badass!! Way2go!!!
+salvador quijada thank you!!
Do you have a stick shift extension or is that stock?
It had an extension, yes. It’s been a while since I owned this Jeep!
Hey I was wondering where did you get the grill guard from
It was homemade and it came on the Jeep when I got it. Everybody seems interested in it.
How do you like the pro comp shocks?
Jay they were good. No problems!
Hello, quick question . Where did you go to get the bumper for your Jeep?
Juan Ulloa which one? Front was home made and came on the Jeep. Rear was from eBay
do you remember where the bumper is from?
Arkansas Jaybird it's a homemade bumper that came on the Jeep when I bought it.
Where’d you get the front bumper?
It came with the jeep. Was homemade.
Bad assssssssssssss
Trying to save for one. Probably looking to spend $4000-6000. Curious what you do for work since you seem to be have an awesome jeep and gtr. Assuming Computer engineer? I'm in SoCal as well (LA)
Ha ha, no. I actually no longer own either of those. They’ve been replaced and the videos are all on the channel. I’m in insurance.
Hey what’s the name of the front bumper?
Nicholas Tonella it was home made. It came on the jeep when I got it. Sorry.
How much do you think I could buy one not customized ?
matt toad 4-6 thousand
Awesome job! Question: Did you need an adapter for the custom steering wheel?
What Was I Thinking? Thank you! No, the wheel I ordered fit. I ordered the JEEP center. That was extra.
Name of the wheel
Where did you get that steering wheel.
Just eBay. You can find it with the Jeep horn button.
What did you use on the roll bar?
Jacob Smith to paint the padding? I used the rustolium for plastic. It worked great! I used semi-gloss with a fog of flat over it to take away some of the shine.
What axels are you running for the 31s
The Jeep has 33s and they were both stock. It wasn’t fast! Lol
@@OhYeahAboutThat chromalloy shafts?
phoenix6969zerotwo onlyonpsn they were 100% stock.
@@OhYeahAboutThat nice.... I'm still building mine, v8 so I'll prob slip in new shafts
phoenix6969zerotwo onlyonpsn probably a good idea. Lol.
please help me i have a 91 and im having some problems with it
Hi! Can u use Jeep as daily driver?
Sure can. Millions do!
I have a chance to buy the same YJ with 1uz from Lexus, currently have mx5 and Nissan d21 pickup td27 single cab 4wd.
Andrei Zinovev that sounds amazing!
@@OhYeahAboutThat thanks bro
Assuming you haven't re-geared, how much have these 33 tires hurt your power? I have a 95 YJ 4 banger with 30s and I'm lucky if I can hit 70 mph flooring it. :P

Great looking Jeep. Interesting in selling?
TreesOnTheBeach thank you! Are you looking to buy?
Yeah, I am getting close to retirement. I always wanted one of these, and now's the time!
TreesOnTheBeach are you able to private message me?
Yeah, I think... will try now.
What site did you purchase the tires from? Also size?
Dimitri Sevastos www.4wheelparts.com and they're 33-12.5-15 in size. They were running some sort of sale at the time I got these.
Thats a great sale! Nice jeep brother!
Dimitri Sevastos thank you very much! I really need to drive it more!
I just purchased my first yj and i'm doing all my research now on what to buy. Cant wait to she's complete!
Dimitri Sevastos they're a lot of fun, and parts are inexpensive and everywhere. Rust can be a problem depending on where you live. They hold their value like crazy.
❤❤❤
This super jeep modding is inccomplete without Ac intall.....y?
danjuma kolo installing AC would cost too much. It's not really needed here in California, especially for a vehicle that is rarely driven.
OhYeahAboutThat oh really? I getcha...
FYI - When they started putting AC in Jeeps (before they even called them Wranglers) many said, "It ain't a Jeep." We're a long ways from that now but to be honest most of them rolling off the assembly line today have lost the idea of the Jeep. As someone said - "Grocery getters".
