have crossed the Indrahar pass three times in 1977 and 1979. First time it was with bare necessities and no guidance, tips or expertise. Since there was no snow on the track, it was somewhat easy to climb. We started from Mcleodganj when it dawned and reached Laka resting a little at Triund. We spent the night at that Lahesh cave whose name not known to us then. Next day again starting early, it took us four hours to reach the pass.
Thanks for letting me see the place again with your visuals and commentary. For us camera was a costly luxury in those times.

Hi travelling stories, Me & my friends are planning to go for this trail in September, will we able to see snow during this time
just came back from Indrahar Pass. your video motivated me to climb the mountain. there wasnt any snow but i made the mistake of going alone and getting lost. this trek is actually a difficult one not reccomended for new trekkers. had to literally climb my way back to safety tom cruise style. over all a thrilling experience xD beautiful views.
left at 9 am from dhauladhar cafe, reached peak at 3pm and reached back to dhauladhar at 7.30pm. ( wudve been back by 4 if hadnt been lost :/

This is in monnth of June
It is not possible to trek to indrahar pass in one day,u hv to camp one night at snowline or illaka camp site,n trek to indrahar next day early morning,might take 4_6 hrs to reach top

Nope..no restrictions on trekking… no covid test is needed to come ..everything s open now..

Glacier s melting at moment… but i saw some going with guide…we dnt went up coz of glacier..

At Triund temperature normaly stay at 15-20 degrees ths days… but its goes low n night…at indrahar pass top below 10 degrees …

If ur very good trekker thn u can cover moon peak and come back same day,if not thn till indrahar pass is okay,yes two days is must fo this trek,we camp at lakka n start trek next morning ,I think from triund,snowline o lakka ther is some locals they can guide too
