Triund is a very popular and beautiful trek in McLeod Ganj, Himachal Pradesh. This was my solo trek which I did when winter was at its peak i.e., on 27th January 2023. It took 8 hours in going to the summit and coming back to Mcleodganj.

Bhai proper treking shoes aur jackets, pants wagarh ki ekdam jaroorat rhti hai kya is trek pe?
Agar itni jyada barf Hui tab ek ache shoes chaiye honge jo snow se gile na ho andar se. Aisa koi proper trekking gear nahi chaiye. Thand hogi isliye jacket toh necessary hai.

I did this trek last year on 27th Jan and at that time camping was closed due to heavy snow at triund top. So I don't have any contact number. I started this trek at 9:30 in the morning from Mcleodganj Main square and returned back by 5:30 PM
I went on Jan 7th,2024. There is no snow at all at any place.

Yes brother snow hogi. Agar top pe jyada snowfall Hui toh band ho sakta hai..Maine last week of Jan me trek Kiya tha tab kaafi jyada snow thi but top tak trek kar liya tha..so it's totally depends on snowfall..have a wonderful trip ✌️

Thank you Brother 😊 I hope snow mil Jayegi tab. Bhai Maine ye trek January last week me Kiya tha..tab bhot jyada snow thi isliye us time pe camping band thi.. lekin bhot pehle ek bar aur camping ki h Maine triund pe.. tab 1000/- price tha for 2 person.
I stayed in camp last Christmas, snow was not there..if you are lucky you can witness snowfall in Christmas...But staying for Night up there is very chilly, so prepare accordingly as temperature will be in minus
Bro night stay at top is possible or not? It stopped earlier
I did this trek on January last week, so due to heavy snow stay was not available at the top at that time. I am not sure if stay is available now or not.

It's a simple trek and can be done in a day. You don't have to pay anything for it if you are doing it solo. 🙌

March to June and Mid September to November. But if you want to experience snow you can visit during the winters as well but sometimes the trek is closed due to heavy snowfall at triund

Amazing video. I went there in the 1st week of March. It was tiring, it was difficult, the last 2.5 km of the whole trek it became the toughest when we could barely see anything except the snow, people were skidding, falling and scared as well but it was all worth it when I witnessed the view at the top. Absolute Dream stuff.
