One of the things that really connects me to this channel is the joy Jordan and Kaylee seem to have in everything. Their outlook, no matter the challenge, is positive. Taking showers on the road behind their bus at a Walmart parking lot or when they first moved to the land and took their cold showers in the crazy winds through a garden hose, there was always joy. Now that the shower is done, though still joyful, it’s also wonderful to see them at peace and feeling relieved. All of their hard work, heart and soul they’re putting into this farm is paying off. Cheers to all of the great progress with the bathroom, the garden, and everything else!
I loved how awesome Kaylie is with Sadie and teaching her stuff all the time! She will be grateful for those homemade pizza lessons later in life❤😂 grat life skill!! Beautiful bathroom guys!

Hint : keep a propane torch with a quick start igniter by your pizza oven. Makes for a fast fire. I keep one beside my Woodstove.

Ps. From one mom to another… I was advised to say “excellent “ or “good job” instead of “perfect”. The reason is that children will then strive for perfection, and that just doesn’t exist. I changed my verbiage and it made a world of difference for my girl. 🥰

I love watching your little family. My favorite parts were just the simple moments like when you were feeding the dogs and talking to each other, the part where you guys were dancing and just spending time together with the camera going in the background. You weren't talking to us you were just being a family. I don't know I just love how much you guys love each other. It's simple but still just beautiful. Bathroom looks amazing! Can I move in too? For several years now I've had to carry hot water from my kitchen to my bathtub an hour to take a bath..... Your house isn't too far to boil water on the stove and bring it to the tub. I even was without a water heater for a while - a good year, I had to boil water on the stove every time I had to do anything with hot water. It sucked, but I got by.
Jordan's innocent delight at the 'rain fall' shower, not knowing that was what those shower heads are all about, was so heartwarming ♥️

It’s such a joy to watch you. I totally respect and agree on what you do. But please stop cooking with aluminum foil. When you heat, in combination with salt, metals can be absorbed by the food. In Europe we have round trays that can be reused.

If you are already building onto the workshop, why dont you add on to the side of it too? So you have more living space? Maybe a bedroom for sadie that isn't up a ladder?? If you did the blueprint of the workshop next to it and had maybe 1/4 of the depth as a shed you could move all the workshop stuff into that section and then have a great small home that functions well for years. You could probably fit 2 snug bedrooms in the rest of that space. & it would give you more soace to expand the kitchen a little in the current soace. And have a whole half of the existing workshop to move your living room to.

I would maybe seal that wooden trim since there will be a lot of moisture. I would be afraid of mold. The bathroom is looking beautiful. Also, seeing Sadie wake up and then you nursing her just makes me think of my baby. He is sleeping right now but those are the most fulfilling, sweetest moments and it makes a wonderful capture for a heartfelt video. ❤

He is truly an amazing guy. Highly intelligent along with active af and with a work ethic that’s unseen really in the states for 99% of people. He went from a desk job to a complete builder, plumber, inventor, electrician, carpenter, pond builder, mason and everything in between. They don’t even make men like this anymore.😂 Last man I knew like this was my grandfather who built his own home from scratch himself during the wars and depression when materials and money, food etc wasn’t easy to come by.

In a week of use you're going to hate that shower head because there's no force to the shower. You're on a low pressure system with a limited water supply - basically on a RV-type system so you need a low flow shower head like the Oxygenics 26481 Body Spa RV Shower Kit. We put one in our travel trailer and now we have a 'normal' shower without draining the tank.
