yes i can, i was smiling when he cut his lights, and he drove slow then when he got around the corner he gunned it, reminds me of the days when i did it
It's even worse after you get away. My heart was pounding when I did it. Undercover caught me 20 minutes later and recognized black mustang with white stripes that was on radio. Next thing I have 4 cops behind me and saw a jail cell. It's fun though.
For sure, you can get years for doing this shit. God forbid someone gets hurt.
I wouldn't recommend it. It's extremely nerve wracking. I ran from a cop on a bike once a few years ago, on a road i've been down a thousand times, a very small crest, one you wouldn't notice at 60, turns iinto what felt like 3 feet of air, which shook up the front end and shifted me into the other lane. Just don't, not getting a ticket isnt worth your life.
Necessities for running from cops:
kill switch for every light that isnt headlights

license plate screen

Or a cord attached to the plate that flips it upwards so it isn't visible. Also very important: exhaust cut outs. I'm not necessarily a fan of them, but very useful in this case.

Cars Across Texas wow. 25 years ago I was 16 and cruising with my friends on Gratiot in Detroit area. We were driving my parents new 1993 Lincoln Towncar.
We made an illegal u-turn. A police officer saw us and I knew he was about to pull us over. We made two more illegal u-turns and went through a red light (safely) and got in the freeway and disappeared before he had a chance to put on his lights. But this guy is crazy. He was literally escaping. Who knows? Maybe he had warrants or something. Thinking back WE should have pulled over and just taken the ticket.
Driving like that is dangerous. He hit way to many red lights going at least 100 MPH. To me at my age now I think that’s insane driving. You will definitely loose your licence driving like that. He would have been arrested if they caught him.

Michael Stephenson it’s a Class B Misdemeanor for the first offense here which can land you up to 6 months in jail I think but most are released after the weekend lol. It’s a felony after the third repeat offense

Imagine here in Puerto Rico there only 1 drag strip left, there were to more one I don't know what happened, the other one close since "hurricane Maria" did lot of damage, and my case of I were to have a car for racing on that strip I would cost me around 500-700 for a day or maybe weekend. In total for ticket trailer gas and place to sleep.
They closed the track in the city I'm at because of the noise. Now they're complaining about people getting hurt and killed in street racing accidents. Which one's worse? I guess hindsight is 20/20.

I've known a few who have ran from police/troopers and they didn't even catch the plate #, however based off the description and cameras in the area they were able to identify who they were and eventually were caught. They ended up serving jail time, massive fines and loss of license. Its a very rare occurrence that people would walk away, those who do don't come on a social media outlet to disclose.

I once had 4 kgs of weed in the trunk, on the Vienna city highway, when a police van turned up some distance behind me. Soon after he appeared, he accelerated and turned his lights on.
I sure as hell would have floored it, because it would have been an easy getaway (van probably can hit 180 km/h max, I can do 250). I did have my tags on, so I would get a ticket later, but by then I would have gotten rid of the weed!
Thankfully I kept me nerves, kept my speed, and waited, because a couple of car lenghts behind me, he took an exit and was gone. Problem solved.

I thought about installing a tail light switch and those plates covers that roll up or down, I've ran from police like 3 or 4 times(in Mexico ofc) and if they catch your plate it's over.

I really do have all the respect for cops in the world (maybe not so much for state troopers lol) because they are really doing something that I could never put myself into. I just feel like setting up a racing sting with 10+ cop cars is a little unnecessary and a waste of money and time. And to pull a gun on the Camaro was wayyyy too extreme on that cops part.

Back in the day a buddy had one of his old cars “all set up” , separate switches to independently control all the lights.
I’ll leave the rest to your imagination but when ya kill the back lights it’s easier to ditch someone than ya think.
MrHillfolk Oh I've evaded someone who was tracking me hard & I don't have a setup like that but it was dark light around me and i cut off the lights to stop my break lights and took a tight turn.
They slowed down but kept going.
So I'm a believer.
