  • If your MIG welder is making some wandering welds, this might be your problem!
Below are some links to tools and parts shown in the video. Most are affiliate links, if you end up buying I will earn a small commission. Thanks for your support!

If you are looking for new contact tips, be aware there are many different kinds! Some fit multiple machines, but many don't.
For example I have a Hobart 185 which is made by Miller but doesn't use the Miller tips, only Hobart specific tips. To make it even more confusing, I have replaced the gun assembly with an aftermarket unit that takes TWECO parts.
Here is the replacement gun I used on my Hobart when mine wore out (it works great and takes the more common TWECO style consumables): amzn.to/3SOHpcf
My Hobert Creator auto darkening welding helmet: amzn.to/47E6XgC
My Revco Orange welding jacket (it is awesome and has an arm pen pocket): amzn.to/3uolgaM
My ISO Tunes headphones (also act as ear plugs!) that I am always wearing in the shop: amzn.to/4672bHy
This is how I did it, I would love to hear your feedback on what has worked for you in your shop. Hope you get some ideas!

thank you, mine were definitely sloppy today and I need to do this. I mostly finished my trailer gate today and watching your previous video helped me out with welding the cross hatch metal to the frame (forget the real name of it).
