i remember back in the 90's @ richmond during qualifying you could close your eyes and guess the manufacturer just by sound. if you were real good, the engine builder.
Nascar stock cars are probably the best sounding race cars of the modern era. Especially considering that most race cars today have been somewhat muffled by mild hybrid systems.
This sound is just... perfect!! For me, sitting in the grand stand at Daytona, its not the fast wizz like an upclose flyby. Its more of the slow roar as it passes. 2:26
Dude. I was so mad. I was supposed to go to the races last weekend, but they got pushed all to the same day. One of the races, the U.R 300 Xfinity series, was rescheduled for Monday morning at 11, so we drove up to see it, only to realize that they again, pushes it back. That was about 4 hours wasted that day and on Saturday. We were so mad. We ended up watching it in the tv but, it's just not the same. I'll definitely watch your vid, wish I could've been there
Love the sound of American V8 power. It's unmistakable and simply awesome. Years ago, That Dude in Blue once referred to the sound as a "Symphony of Violence" and since then, I've never heard a better description.
I;m ready for the season to start. Love football #1, but that sound there is AWESOME. I've been to Talladega 5 times, and it never gets old. Just the 5 hour drive there and back...!
I'm in a pretty good centralized location to several tracks, but it's just dealing with the drive home after a long day at the track. I'm 2.5 hrs from AMS and Darlington; 3 hrs from Charlotte; 5 hrs from Talladega.@@ihateracin
Nascar is #1!! 😂😂 NFL has lost my attention the past 5 or so years. I still watch but not the passion I used to have for it. Nascar is what gets me going!
@@rebelsoul5980 I'm going the opposite way. I will always love the NFL - I think. NASCAR used to get me charged up until all of the rules changes and crap starting 2007 with the Car Of Tomorrow (COT). But when all of the household names starting retiring and leaving the sport, my enthusiasm started to wane too. I still like it, but not I once did.
I've never been to a superspeedway in person, I've only gone to Kansas motor speedway, but seeing how they sound makes me really want to go to Talladega or daytona
This is a great video. I’ve been to Talladega twice and to Daytona. Any idiot who thinks this isn’t a sport is just wrong. I was so close to the fence that one half of my face was covered in debris. The noise is intense and the smell of the fuel are unforgettable. These guys are amazing!
I always like sitting close to the entrance to turn 1. By the time they hit that spot on the ovals they are hammering down, especially about two or three laps into the start of a race. Then that sudden smell of fuel just rises up. That’s when you realize you are seeing something way bigger than yourself. Nothing like it!
I wish I would’ve gone to the wall at Daytona, I can’t believe I missed out on that feeling! Check out some of my at the races vlogs, the sound of the cars I spend hours on making it clear!
Awesome they could race every weekend at Talladega and I would be happy. I'm going in April 2024. Great video this is awesome. Come on Keslowski get that 6 back in victory lane.
CRANK IT UP‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
Now I understand during the race when I was a baby,I always fell asleep
I’m never get tired hearing their engine roars by every year and for the rest of my life 100%
Me neither brother
@@ihateracin wow

I’m not the only person that listens like 10 times to relief stress
I’m astonished by the view count but this makes sense
Pura verdade mesmo 👍👍👍👍😊😊😊😊 Nascar é vida V8 é vida
10 times only? Are you lighthouse guard or something like that? 😳
I could go to sleep listening to this. sounds heavenly
Sounds like 2014 right here 0:40
I go to Talladega every October and this never gets old
Nascar stock cars are probably the best sounding race cars of the modern era. Especially considering that most race cars today have been somewhat muffled by mild hybrid systems.
indycar ?!?!??!?!
I would agree. For me the best sounding is the V10 90s F1 cars but modern racing yeah this hits the spot
Mid 2010s Australian touring cars sound so good as well especially on board
Same pitch as the 2008-2012 cars. Just much more bass. Looooove these next gen cars.
well the cars also have alot less horsepower so they don't roar as well as they use to. I think the early gen 4 scream was better than now
@@nicalos007always gotta be someone to make things negative

Check out my Daytona 500 video for some real nostalgia!

That's how Crank It Up is supposed to sound like 😎
It is always Mike Joy that comes in with his booming voice to blow your ears out on a surround sound system.

Love your enthusiasm, but not all the cars are American…just saying.
Nothing sounds better than a mid-late 90’s SB2 with Dr. Gas X-Pipe. PERIOD END OF SENTENCE
Raw-ass V8 horsepower, there's no other sound like it in the world!!
And some people use ocean sounds to get to sleep.
I;m ready for the season to start. Love football #1, but that sound there is AWESOME. I've been to Talladega 5 times, and it never gets old. Just the 5 hour drive there and back...!
That’s my love hate relationship living 6 hours from Phoenix but always needing to see how the season ends!

this is how broadcast should be. commentators only talk under caution
These sounds are so awesome! You’re really good at capturing the sounds of NASCAR!
Feels Like I'm Back At Texas Motor Speedway. I Love The Sounds Of These Roaring Engines.
Why Are You Capitalizing Every Word? Also I agree, they sound awesome
Music to my ears from these beautiful cars
I went to the 2022 Xfinity Championship and the 2023 cup series championship and the flybys is just music to my ears
Be sure to check out my recent Phoenix video for some more sounds of NASCAR!
I've never been to a superspeedway in person, I've only gone to Kansas motor speedway, but seeing how they sound makes me really want to go to Talladega or daytona
dega is a blast
I have a video of my time at Daytona this year give it a watch!
Daytona is awesome!!@
Go to Daytona! I always sit in the Sunoco gate right at turn 4!
Watch out, Dega is addictive
NBC makes the cars sound so awesome
Ratings for each superspeedway race of 2023
Daytona 500 (Daytona) 8.4/10
Geico 500 (Talladega) 7.8/10
Coke zero sugar 400 (Daytona) 9.6/10
Yellawood 500 (Talladega) 9.7/10
So basically NBC is better covering nascar then fox
The fact that they went 4 wide is insane

Can't wait for the sound again whoooo thanks Nascar 🏁🏆
Love NASCAR from México 🇺🇸🇲🇽
At least part of this video from Talladega happened while they were at commercial.
I like the gen 4 X-Pipes whine Superspeedway sound its better then the gen 7 sound.
God , "keep the track dry , make these cars fly "
I got this on loop while doing school work yw for the watch time
Such sweet music!
Yeah, sounds about right
Do this with Gen 4 and you'll understand why even this level of awesome is extremely underwhelming.
I’m old enough to remember it well, unfortunately there ain’t a lot of commentary free footage from back then in anything but 240p :/
Awesome
hi bubble
Wsg bubble
It actually sounds different compared to the older cars
Superspeedways don't need the tv commentators...just let them engines roar!
That was beautiful
This girl said these new cars sound like fans… Embarrassing
So sick
Soon!!!
new sub :)
Cool
I’d rather listen to the xfinity cars than the next gen cars
and yet
This sounds 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I've now got wood!!!!!😂😂
Say what you want, but the gen 7 sounds like NASCAR
Na the gen4 was nascar not this
PART 2 PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I’m looking for clean broadcaster free audio worth posting, NBC and Fox make it difficult:/
@ihateracin yeah I know, BUT I WAS LISTENING TO THIS IN SCHOOL ALL DAY TYSM FOR THIS AND I HOPE U CAN FIND VIDEOS FOR PART 2

I liked the gen 6 better
X pipe Xfinity>Gen6
@ihateracin your just so wrong
They sound pretty good but not like back when Dale raced whe. There where chevys fords Pontiac’s Buick’s Olds Mopars and No Toyota’s
What you liked was the x pipe, which wouldn’t really work in this car, but I agree.
How were you able to get the clip without the broadcast in the background?
Luckily the NASCAR RUclips channel had like 7 minutes of it, but the audio wasn’t too well balanced
How do you do it better than FOX themselves
NBC footage + 2 hours of sound editing
Gen 6 still better tho
What feed is this?
It’s an edit of NBC footage
