I saw them LIVE on March 12, 1993, @ Salem Civic Center in Salem, VA with Charlie Daniels Band and The Kentucky Headhunters it snowed the whole time. We tried to drive home to Danville, VA during the Blizzard. Ended up getting the LAST available room in Franklin VA. Memories!!!
I have seen many live performances in my 60 some odd years, George Jones, Oak Ridge, Conway, to mention a few, but the most entertaining was Sawyer Brown. That guy knows how to work a stage and he is non stop. Excellent Group.
I hear this song on the radio and it reminds me of a friend that liked this song enough that he named his semi after it.heres to you and black Betty and the gang.
Is there anyone here who can explain why a mountain of fruit keeps following the lady around where ever she goes during this video? That is my only question about it. God bless you and every member of this awesome act always!!! Holly in East Tennessee
A friend pointed out this is about Betty Beets...Look her up if you don't know about The Black Widow!!! I don't live far from where she buried her men under her Wishing Well.
Misunderstood one line (at 0:54 point) in this for 30 yrs. Just now looked it up. Not: "The .45 squiggled dang 409." But rather: "A .45's quicker than 409."
Well, actually I met him after a county fair, he came off the bus, BEAT, and rightfully so! Danced like a madman, but he had a wine cooler. ( That's how long ago that was!) What a show, he deserved one!
Mark Miller is awesome I have seen them in VA numerous times and they are the best especially love Mark Miller and his dancing

I totally dig Mark's wardrobe. The guy really has some great stage presence!
My dad bought this cassette when I was five years old and I use to think they were saying Bearenstain Bears

"Betty's" moves always reminded me of the moves of the girl in "Sexy and 17" from a couple years earlier. OMG those legs!!!
Just saw them last night. It was the first date of their 2019 tour. They put on an excellent show. Mark can still dance!!
Wish I could see them, always loved them high energy
@@henryskedel5771 If you like high energy, watch the Oak Ridge Boys; with all the energy Joe Bonsall has, I'd say he loads up on Red Bull. 😆😆😆😆😆😆

Great song by a great band. Hard to believe that they got they're big start on Star Search with Ed McMahon.
They were one of the few acts who actually had success after their appearance.
Damn, she can dance!
Oh yeah she can dance and him and her dance good together
Marine Jahan - she was Jennifer Beals dance double in Flashdance. INCREDIBLE dancer!

Gotta be something to do with peaches being a sensual/ sexual fruit. Maybe in comparisons to parts of a womans body. She is cute for sure!
Good ol boys have fun.....tooo cool!

That's a fun video!
Betty is, well, wow!!!!!!!
Mark Miller had the moves
Sawyer Brown never went Alabama big because Country wasn't ready for Miller's moves!
Wrong.....we saw them in Fort Payne last summer.....them and the Bellamy brothers put on a great show
I think if I'm not mistaken that girl who plays Betty was also in the Sawyer Brown video "Somewhere In The Night" in 1987
