@@PixelDanToyHunts Absolutely! As a new collector/seller the traditional convention scene is going to have some prohibitive expenses for me. I love seeing toys but don't have the hunger yet for the super rare stuff. I don't have the inventory yet to fill a 500 dollar booth. But I do have a fold up table and price stickers!

Yes!, the Kamen rider your son bought is Kamen Rider build, his specific series is considered one of the great ones by many and the red and blue just happens to be the first match he gets in the show
The Green Monster from the BBC is a Slitheen from Doctor Who, with Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor Episode "Aliens of London" they use human skin suits which makes the flatulent 🙂
I was hoping I wasn't the only one who recognized the Slitheen figure. Really cool stuff.

You should definitely introduce Spencer to weaponizer and fossilizer transformers. Most of them dont transform but instead they can breakdown into pieces to create different things much like modulok from MOTU.
@16:00 that nonsense is an alien from the modern Dr. Who series. I think it's from the Matt Smith series. I can't remember exactly what is called, but I'm sure someone will fill us in with more details.
Ok, I looked a bit myself. They're called Slitheen. They're from the first modern Dr. Who series with Chris Eccleston.
I remembered the face straight away but it was somewhere in the memory cortex as a Doctor Who character. Thanks for pinpointing the origin! 🤩

Very cool message about being a dad collector. Of course our instinct is to buy the kid the whole lot and instant collection. Having that one figure, bought with hard earned money, will be much more sentimental for him. He will really appreciate.

You have the BEST camera-woman ever!
Man Pretenders are awesome.........well the shells are at least.......the bots are mostly take it or leave it. BUT that's where the beast Pretenders shine like Cattila, Carnivac, Snarler, and Chainclaw. Amazing shell designs but also non compromised inner bots that actually turn into something that's not just a robot doing yoga. I cannot recommend Carnivac enough, I mean Battle Cat NEEDS his Panthor, am I right!
Also just as an aside, I know your not a big TF guy, BUT I think you might like Titans Return Shuffler. He's a modernish toy yes but he's a fun little pocket toy that just exemplifies that goofy vehicle goodness the 80's/90's had in spades. He's a tiny robotic elephant that transforms into a tank, BUT WAIT there's more, he's also a hand held missile launcher!!

Seeing Spencer mark out for Kamen Rider Build makes me so mad that its not easily available to watch in the states because it proves that kids are still attracted to the brand and could 100% succeed here.

Kamen Rider Build Rabbit Tank is the one Spencer got and it's the first look in that series also a side note Build was the 19th Heisei Rider era series. Used two jars that would be shaken up then added to the henshin belt to transform.
Had a killer theme and I think can watch on TokuSHOUTsu I believe. If not the Hensei Generation forever movie can be seen on Tubi.
That alien fig sparked a memory and second heard Dr. Who I knew. Just name nope that I dunno.

I spy a Masked Rider AKA Kamen Rider, and Big Bad Beatleborgs. Kamen Rider Build bottle change figure, combines one non-animated object and one living object, though the whole series does a better job of explaining the how it all works, though I can do a video on Kamen Rider Build if anyone wants too seeing as Kamen Rider is a Japanese TV Show

With all due respect, and I think you get it… I do think it’s incredibly odd and off having influencers signing retro toys. I’m not saying you’re not important to the industry in passion and content, but part of appreciation to the toys is to the makers and history they have. I think it’s just odd, but I mean no disrespect at all! I’d have pictures, stickers or cards to sign instead and take a pic with the person lol.
To be fair, Dan has a book he wrote and his own action figure. He is not promoting to sign other people’s figures. He’s just going along with their gag or personal connection.
