Your bag is fantastic, a master craft piece for sure! If I were you I would price my item by determining an hourly rate (at least $30 per hour) plus materials and consumable, then add 25% to cover all other costs over time (machine maintenance, rent on your studio, insurance, utilities etc). Don’t under sell yourself your work is beautiful ❤
Def this formula for your very base price! Also I don’t know if this word has gone out of fashion or not? But definitely advertise your work as being “bespoke” or at least find wording that works for you to point out that your items are not just unique they are also hand made and no two will be identical.
How crazy is this algorithm? So happy that I got a chance to see this. I'm inspired by this. Literally just bought a sewing machine a few days ago. Your work is amazing. As far as your pricing, being able to see you make it yourself makes it worth a lot.
Omg I've never seen so many comments on my videos! I really appreciate all the feedback, I made some changes based on your feedback, I will be posting a new video with the new model! Thank you very much for the support! I'm speechless, that never happens!
Hi Ian. All the best to you for the New Year! This is the 1st time I came across you. Excellent video! So many little tips I have already learnt. This bag came out so beautifully and I love the additional bag you made for it. The colors go great together. Question...what is the exact yellow handle fabric cutter you are using and what brand of blades?
Looks very nice but please change that white bobbin thread that you used on the push fasten so that it matches the lining. The white thread would currently stop me from buying, just shows too much. But then I am a bit anal about things like that. Joining the removable handles to make a shoulder stripe with the clips would make it very uncomfortable on the shoulder if it had any amount of weight to the contents. I also much prefer to have a flap that completely closes the top of the bag as I'm always have things fall out of open bags.
You know what aggravates the Heyell out of me in bag making? THE BIRTHING OF THE BAG! I CAN'T STAND IT! THERE HAS TO BE A BETTER WAY OF AVOIDING BIRTHING THE BAG! I KNOW ABOUT DROP IN LININGS THOUGH, BUT MAYBE IT HAS TO BE PERFECTED.
1st time seeing you. What a wonderful bag. I will be following you. I have problems pricing my bag too. Keep up the great work.
The organizer and handles are awesome! ❤

that is a FABULOUS TOTE BAG SWEETIE! BEAUTIFUL LOVE IT!!
I agree with Pamala, you should consider selling the pattern or offering dimensions. It could help grow your following. The design is str8 🔥
I love the organizer!
That removable pouch inside the tote is genius!!!
I think it will cost 125. May I suggest something? I would defineitley top stitch around the top so the lining fits nicely. TFS Hugs!
@@fairyGrandmother thank you very much, I actually changed the design for the lining. I just posted the new version.
Awesome work! I’ve been waiting for some to drop on your Etsy or website. Happy new year! 🎉
Love it! Thanks so much for sharing this with us ❤

I really want the Juki 1181, walking foot so I don’t burn up my industrial lockstitch, however my main want is the 9mm stitch length over the 5mm.
Consider adding brass feet to gusset!
