How temperature and speed is controlled ?
there is a dial on the side for temperature. The speed is constant. There are different gears to change out for whether you use water or oil.

Shirodhara needs to move back and forth. Pouring liquid on the third eye constantly can actually cause anxiety and frustration
it's not drips, it's a steady stream, and very relaxing.
