Part of reason swedes dont use creamers in coffee because if you drink 2-3 coffees a day it really adds up in sugar and fat intake and over a few years can make a huge difference in your weight.
As an Israeli, I did never chose Sweden but rather a Swedish woman has chosen me. We got married in Israel and much due to our fight against racism and the senseless violence which effects Palestinians and Black Jews from the oppressive Likud-regime in Israel. We had to leave for my wifes native country. I love this country as much as any native Swede.
@swedishgirl666: Instead of Coffee, they can opt for a mug of MOCHA flavored HOT CHOCOLATE! ;-D Have you ever noticed how much "sugar" Americans put in their desserts, beverages, bread, etc. There is even an American southern drink call "SWEET TEA"! It is usually served ice cold and it has an incredible amount of SUGAR in it! They also have a beverage that's call KOOL-AID & Country Time Lemonade Mix (that you literally add a lot of SUGAR to)! I believe that desserts in Europe and Asia are NOT loaded with a lot of refined sugar. Unfortunately, in the USA the children are raised on great portions of "sugar" due to the US manufacturers processing just about everything with it. There are even small traces of SUGAR in their savories! Well, I will ask you to have mercy on them when it comes to the brothers "desiring" sweet & flavored creamers in their black coffee. After all, that is what they (along with all the rest of Americans) are used to...really SWEET, SUGARY beverages-including COFFEE! But, don't get me wrong...not all Americans like sweet flavored creamers in their coffee (they are referred to as PURIST). Just keep in mind that these American boys have probably been subjected to "sugary" things most of their lives. Give them a break...because it's a cultural thing! LOL

My Marmor always said that they must have switched babies in the hospital nursery because I don’t eat any seafood. As far as dress goes, that’s true about Swedes ... very fashionable. Even though I was born in America, my Swedish Mother always dressed us stylishly ... something I’ve continued well into my adulthood. Another tradition I continue is Fika ... every day at 3PM. 👍🏻. As the oldest of 7 kids, I’m glad to see that you both are close. I hope you make the move Christian. Sweden is great 👍🏻
I really appreciate the videos you make. Good quality and funny stuff. Fun fact though: Stockholm could roughly be translated to Log Islet, basically because the word "stock" means "log" and "holm" is a cut off version for "holme" which means "islet" (I guess that somewhere on the way they just skipped the "e" out of the "Stockholm" because of laziness). The town got established in the late 1100's and were made the capital of Sweden in 1634.

About the high protein in everything: swedes are really quick to follow trends and hook up on different diets to stay healthy and try new things. A few years ago 5:2 diet was a big thing everyone was talking about and trying out, more recently everything starting to be labelled ”gluten free!” to make it seem healthy. I think all products shouting ”high on protein!” is another health trend we’re a bit hooked to right now. Wearing gym/running clothes as an outfit even if you’re not going to the gym is also a thing right now. I think swedes in general try hard to stay fit (or at least to seem like we’re fit).

We take in so many ppl from other countries and they get to stay, so I hope it is not too hard for you guys to get work permits and stay. Spent 4 days in Santa Barbara so far studying english at EF. First day at breakfast I took a cup of coffee not even thinking about the fact that it wouldn’t be the same. Took some creamer in it and it didn’t taste like coffee in my opinion. It’s fun and interesting with different cultures :)
I spent two days in Gothenburg. I tried to pronounce it "Yot - e - Boree" but I could not be understood. I thought that was the Swedish way to pronounce Gothenburg. I wanted to see the Fish Market but it was closed. I stayed at a hotel called Barken Viking and it was hard to find at night, when my flight landed. Next time I go to Sweden, I am not staying at Barken Viking. I noticed that there were a lot of Espresso House coffee shops that had racks of trays for returning leftover dishes. I only remember seeing those racks of trays in Ikea shops in the US. I saw some convenience stores called Pressbyran that reminded me of 7-11 in the US. I changed my currency at a Pressbyran at the airport. When I rode the trains, I got around the city easily. The buses did not stop until I pushed a red button that said "Stannar." I found out by missing my stop. I also noticed that the Kanelbullar looked different. They had white sugar dots instead of frosting.
All the nordic countries are in the top 5 coffee drinkers in the world and basically drink it black or with milk/sugar, what we usually do to sweaten it up is drinking it with pastries and cookies/biscuits,you know Swedish Fika and all that good stuff
When I was in the US and Canada the only thing that tasted like swedish coffee was a plain double espresso at starbucks. (Not to be compared to a double espresso at a swedish starbucks wich is a lot stronger.) I had mine with a little heavy whippping cream, because I'm on keto. All other coffees was so weak I had to bring nescafe with me at all times to top them up.
Coffee beans alone taste good if you have the right beans and person making it. Can be hard to find. In places were you don't have pure water the water matters too of course.
Om man dricker kaffe till sina smörgåsar till frukost på morgonen så har jag svårt att se varför man ska ha i smaksättare annat än mjölk. Starbucks efter en tur på stan, javisst, men inte till frukost. :-D

My reaction to your description of the coffee flavour stuff was, as we say in Norrland (Northland), huvva!!!😂 (our version of "usch!" and "blä") Btw, have you visited any town in Norrland? If you haven't, take a weekend or so for a road trip. You'll love it!

Can't tell if it's super common, but from the content creators I follow in LA the majority wears sweatpants and hoodies and sweatpant shorts everyday. It just feels so dressed down for such a big and "rich" city.

It's how you are used to drinking the coffee. I tried with sugar, cream and even milk (and a blend of these) but the coffee actually taste worse. Hot, strong and black, that has always been the best flavour to me.

Black coffee is nice, just be careful about not drinking too much as the acidity is pretty high and can cause ulcers! Nice video.
I never drink only black coffee; I need sugar and milk to it. And we have coffee creamers at Systembolaget and Ica.
Man, you guys love each so much. What a wonderful a little bro. I’m the youngest of 4, I wish a had a little Bro to spoil. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
All the nordic countries are in the top 5 coffee drinkers in the world and basically drink it black or with milk/sugar, what we usually do to sweaten it up is drinking it with pastries and cookies/biscuits,you know Swedish Fika and all that good stuff
You should definitely come and visit Gothenburg, I think you would love it here! :)
Hanna's Edits I’m an American that has been living in Gothenburg for about six months now and I have to say that I definitely prefer it to Stockholm.
Im from sweden and i am a little proad when i hear all this😂😂❤️
When I was in the US and Canada the only thing that tasted like swedish coffee was a plain double espresso at starbucks. (Not to be compared to a double espresso at a swedish starbucks wich is a lot stronger.) I had mine with a little heavy whippping cream, because I'm on keto. All other coffees was so weak I had to bring nescafe with me at all times to top them up.
Sweden seems dope. Much love from USA
Coffee beans alone taste good if you have the right beans and person making it. Can be hard to find. In places were you don't have pure water the water matters too of course.
Funny how Stefan is proud of swedish protein amounts! :0) Almost a Swede, aren't you already!?
Omg jag öskar att vi kommer träffas någon dag, du verkar ha en sån fin personlighet!:))
Älskar er guys! Ni är så sköna och down to earth 🤗❤
Love you, guys! 💕 Brothers and friends! God bless! Love Sweden!! Best Cafe -SCHWEIZER - in Gamla Stan!! I’ll be back for more very soon!!
Om man dricker kaffe till sina smörgåsar till frukost på morgonen så har jag svårt att se varför man ska ha i smaksättare annat än mjölk. Starbucks efter en tur på stan, javisst, men inte till frukost. :-D
Great video! At 1:50 you can hear faintly in the background the beautiful instrumental ‘Telstar’ by the British pop band The Tornadoes. Love that track!
My stomach does not handle coffee very well.
Dude, that bro of yours is a cool cat!
My reaction to your description of the coffee flavour stuff was, as we say in Norrland (Northland), huvva!!!😂 (our version of "usch!" and "blä")
Btw, have you visited any town in Norrland?
If you haven't, take a weekend or so for a road trip. You'll love it!
Coffe with creamer = Dad bods!
Your brother should totally come! It wont be a problem for him to get a job here, seems to be a really cool dude!
what about riding a bicycle in sweden.. i notice most swedish has bikes
Älskar dina videos 😍 Och vad roligt att din bror vill flytta till Sverige!
Greetings from a fellow Portlander!
you should visit the ice hotel in Jukkasjärvi
But hey, black swedish coffee is the treat! ❤ Maybe with some milk once in a while. 👌🏽
Kristina Brunius haha milk is a must for me 😅🙈
You can ask for syrup at different coffee places, there’s vanilla flavored etc. and then just ask for high fat milk I guess 🤪
They do have coffee creamer its in the dairy section with other creamers
I think it is because we have a European stile, since we have our fashion houses like Gucci, Armani, Versace. But actually also like Hilfiger and Gant. Great video!
Wow! This was so much fun! Keep up the good job! ☺️☺️👌
French vanilla creamer! Sooo good men efter tre veckor i USA saknade jag en vanlig latte men det gick verkligen inte att beställa någonstans...
Sweden has creamer "kaffegrädde" just ask for it but its not flavoured. I use Oatly ikaffe its creamy and makes coffee very good!
You guys make me want to visit
Can't tell if it's super common, but from the content creators I follow in LA the majority wears sweatpants and hoodies and sweatpant shorts everyday. It just feels so dressed down for such a big and "rich" city.
Relaxed bro. Great weather in So Cal so even the CEO’s wear shorts and t shirt sometimes. Compared to Nor Cal where they all wear scarves.
Hmmm... Stefan, your brother reminds me of Frank John Hughes in Band of Brother (you know; William J. Guarnere or "Gonorrhoea"). ^^
That's actually very true haha
1:00 Don't worry Christian, I'm Swedish and I don't like fish either so I do the same thing.
We even have protein Snickers and Mars bars! 🙈🙈
Also, you should try the Swedish version of cheese cake...
Erika K I was shocked when I saw snickers protein bars... they’re actually pretty good too!
@@StefanThyron Really?? I haven't dared trying them yet... 🙈
I saw the frog dance for the very first time at a post-Christmas party for children in January back in 1993 as a 7-year-old, and even then I was like "no way", lol.
Another great video from you. Hope you are having a great time with your baby brother. ☺️
its always so good to travel around the world to new places and see new things..........personally I do not travel to places where they have the highest taxes on the planet,I do have issues with that thus I wont ever go to sweden....but if you dont mind over paying taxes, then Im sure its nice
Yes, putting all kinds of stuff in the coffee is great. I also like putting creamed fish in my wine, and pressed garlic in my milk.
I hope you get your ass to Västerås this weekend for Summer Meet !
It's how you are used to drinking the coffee. I tried with sugar, cream and even milk (and a blend of these) but the coffee actually taste worse. Hot, strong and black, that has always been the best flavour to me.
You should visit gothenburg!
I have been once but I definitely want to go again 🤗
Yeah Gothenburg is better then Stockholm.. also... the ocean and westcoast is faar better then the eastcoast.
@@StefanThyron I have just found your videos and really enjoy when you compare sweden and USA. Take care/Lena
Really interesting video :)
