Currently applying to hospitals in my area and I'm really nervous about it. I've always wanted to work in a hospital and be part of it all but everyone's always wanting experience so it's overwhelming to apply with none. Thanks for the interview advice I appreciate it SO MUCH
this has helped so much! i really want to work at banner and i’ve done countless of online applications and i get nowhere with them so i am going to call the location i want to work at and set myself up! so thank you so much!!! i also had a question if hospitals prefer ptcb certification or nha because i’m certified thru nha and every application i would see it would say preferred for ptcb and i plan on taking it because of their compounding cert and stuff like that cause i really want to work in iv rooms and become specialized in that
I always wear black pants and a button down collar top. For girls no heels for me personally coz ppl can find that annoying when you walk inside the building so I always wear flats. For men make sure to wear dressing shoes, NO SNEAKERS!
Hi! Do you have any advice on how to fine tune a resume for a retail pharm tech application for like cvs, walgreens for someone who doesnt have any retail pharm experience?
Any retail customer service would look great on your resume for retail pharmacy! Also describe how you are flexible and adaptable when working and able to work under pressure in a fast pace environment.
Yes. They gave me 40hours of training and 90 days probation period. Those 40 hours I actually have a trainer with me my entire shift. Then they do evaluations after the 90 days. I know some places are nice enough to offer a “retrain” if ppl lack in certain area like in the IV room.
40 hours is the total of whatever days you are schedule to. I worked only on the weekend at that time so 8hours a day and 2 days per week. They assigned me with different technicians through out the whole training period so everyday is different and you’ll have to learn everything by the end of your training period

Im glad you find it helpful. I got my IV certificate thru a separate program that accredited by NABP. Im sure they have different programs. Make sure to background check them and be aware of scammers.

Hi , how to get IV certification?
look up sterile certification in your area. make sure theyre accredited.
Do they provide training in hospitals

So 40 hours. Was it like 2 hours per day. What were u doing for thr whole day ? Did they assign other tasks to do beside IV?
