I once was considering buying an older home that needed lifting and a new foundation (among other things) but was talked out of it, as they said “you’ll never get your money back out of it.” It was an amazing property and I’ve always regretted not doing that, but now I get to watch you! We were given a bouquet of flowers once when new neighbours moved in and did a huge build. It was trite in comparison. I hope that communication and a real relationship go farther
