Hey Shishtars the kuretake brand is a bit cheap and is amazing! U should totally buy them! I also ordered the karin, but ur right the r a bit expensive and thats why i also recommend kuretake! I bought my pack off amazon :)
frashta x I would recommend getting only a few colours of brush pen- if you get blue, pink, yellow and black of an ecoline pen or Karin marker (any watercolour marker will work) you can mix them to create a LOT of different shades. Hope that helps!
OH MA GOODNESS! SO HAPPY TO HAVE A REVIEW THAT I CAN UNDERSTAND! IVE WATCHED ALMOST ALL KARIN BRUSHMARKERPRO REVIEWS AND MY FONE DIDNT ALLOW GOOGLE TRANSLATION ON THE POLISH VIDS HHAHA BUT THANKA FOR ANOTHER ENGLISH ONE!
Thank you for this awesome and very informative video (along with your Tombow brush pen comparison and watercolor one). These were exactly what I was looking for since I was already on the fence about Tombow.
Hiiiii. It's @thrillspeak, came here from the giveaway post and now I'm filled with awe and agony because these beauties are so perfect. Your review of them has only made my heart ache even more for them. You've earned a new subscriber! c:
Great review video! You should do a follow up review and consider these Qs? How long did your Karin marker set last? Do they run out as quickly as the Sharpie Stained Pens you mentioned? Is it necessary to have X3 blending pens with this set?! Thanks so much!
I love writing calligraphy...taught myself and love teaching others how to do it! These brush markers look fantastic! So many beautiful colors! Hopefully I’ll be able to get some soon! Thanks for doing the review and sharing your thoughts about the pens. Btw...I also love the packaging! It looks great and and you don’t have to purchase something else to store them in or display them in. I think the box and tin will look awesome in anyone’s set up! I haven’t been this excited about a set of pens in a long time! 🖋
Ooh la la! They are so beautiful! 🥰 And your review is so helpful and detailed, thank you so much for doing this! I would love to have these, will try to buy them soon!
Didn’t expect a full on review. I like how you told us about the good and the not so amazing features with do’s and don’ts! @intuitivelines likes your video!
Thank you for sharing your opinions - you have me interested! One minor note - pigment does not necessarily equate to lightfast. There are many pigments that are not lightfast (in fact neon pigments are typically notoriously not lightfast).
I am sososick1 on instagram! I am so glad you decided to do this review early i have seen tons of ladies get them on instagram but no reviews in english yet on youtube so this is awesome! I tell ya i am so close to caving in and ordering both sets because these are awesome!
are these lightfast? my daughter did some wonderful lettering with Tombow markers a year ago and it's 50% faded. I am happy to purchase these if they won't fade so quickly. I love her work!
Sally Barnette No sadly they’re not! They’re dye based like Tombow. The metallic ones are pigment based so they will be more lightfast. Most brush pens are dye based so just look for pigment based. Some good ones are Faber Castell Pitt artist brush pens and Winsor and Newton Watercolor markers 👍
Personally I think there are alot of good brush pens out there even the cheap ones from aliexpress which I have as im only 12 and got a set of 100 for £20 . Some brush pens like artline stic arent expensive and are really good, meanwhile others like ecoline and the one your reviewing are more juicy, then you have pens like zebra mildliner and tombow which are kind of in the middle overall good review you really highlight key information.
Never tried these, a friend sent me a video of them on Instagram so I am curious. Just for comparison purpose, have you tried Ecoline Brush pens? Cause I feel they are very similar from watching your video, but they lack color variety and these have much more options. Thank you for your review 😉
That's a great question! Both of them have similar ink because it is watercolor ink. Ecoline brush pens have a much softer nib and it's a little shorter. I personally love the firmer nib of these Karin markers but that's a personal preference. Ecoline will fray much faster than the Karin markers so I would hesitate to use them on watercolor paper. Karin markers are the only brush markers I'm not afraid to use on watercolor paper! Hope that helps! :)
Great review, Sarah! Nice to hear the comparison cost to the Tombows and that they hold up to watercolor and mixed media paper. Ps. I subscribed. 👍 @theletteringcompanion
Elyzza Gonzales Yes! It’s because they’re SO juicy! So when I’m blending just slightly it doesn’t bleed but if I’m going to do a more intense blending piece, they need even thicker, better quality watercolor paper!
I was debating on tomboy or these and honestly the tomboy ones look like feel tips these are softer and they are more bendy and they are cheaper also the meta;pics ar bombbbbb
to anyone buying these....take note that the last couple of blender pens i have bought have been compleatly empy. they haven't dried out, they clearly were never filled to begin with so make sure wherever you buy from alows returns.
@@EnsignInsights np...i have both sets and all of them were brilliant, it was only the blender markers that this has happened with so i don't want it to put people of buying them as they are still excelent quality for the price......the blenders are clear however so i never noticed untill i actually went to use them.

These markers look so JUICY! I love all the color combinations as well. I would LOVE to win your giveaway! Very nice and thorough review💕 my Instagram: @marissas.lovely.letters ☺️
Thanks for your thorough review, I want to try these even more now! I was wondering, does the pamphlet say why the metallics should be stored horizontally but the others vertical? It's just interesting that they're different. IG: @inkcouragement :)
I have been wanting to try these markers, but they're really expensive. Hopefully if I don't win my husband will buy them for me for Christmas :) I follow you also on Instagram. I'm @NeferKhepriArt :)
Even your swatches are perfectly drawn.. spacing? Perfect. Blending? Perfect. Everything else? Perfect!
Just got these two sets for my birthday! They are so great at blending and beautiful for bullet journaling! Excellent review!!
Karen Lee-Johnston Oh yay! Happy birthday! What a great gift! Thanks for watching! 💕
*I want these sooooo bad omggg* _(I love doing calligraphy and I'm looking for good brushpens)_
Same but I'm on a budget 😭 does anyone have any suggestions?
Hey Shishtars the kuretake brand is a bit cheap and is amazing! U should totally buy them! I also ordered the karin, but ur right the r a bit expensive and thats why i also recommend kuretake! I bought my pack off amazon :)

@nfondadesigns this is like the most elaborate review for any product i’ve seen in a while!!!! Amazing!
Wow!! Look at all those pens!!😮

Yes! That's a really good point! Thanks for bringing that up. It is helpful when companies give lightfast ratings for each color!
I have them they are very nice
These are beautiful! Thank you for answering all my questions in a quality review 🧚🏻♀️
Feralredhead Thank you for watching! 💕

Oh man.. you make this look so easy. I am again frustrated by Bouncy lettering!!😢..2 steps forward, 3 steps back.
Thank you for showing us how they work:-)
Hey Sarah!
I wanted to see a video 🎥of your art/craft/sudio/room!
Please🙏🙏💓
These markers look amazing !
Omg im from Poland and when you said that i felt so proud haha
Yes for Poland!!! 👍
these are super awesome😍💕
I bought these pens and I love them too! But I don't know which paper I have to use, can you tell me more? ;) Thanks!

Where can i buy it?
oh wow factor.....look so great
These look so so juicy! I love using my fudebiyori metallics, but these look unbeatable in comparison!
Great colors!
I can’t wait to get mine 😍
Are free sharpie stained called fabric markers? They look the same as what you showed us..
Ur voice is so soothing
Which paper do you recommend with them? I’m having troubles to find the right one
Does the karin brushmarker pro makes an ombre effect? Because it is very inky
Never tried these, a friend sent me a video of them on Instagram so I am curious. Just for comparison purpose, have you tried Ecoline Brush pens? Cause I feel they are very similar from watching your video, but they lack color variety and these have much more options. Thank you for your review 😉

Ensign Insights thank you so much, that definitely helps ♥️
How.. how.. HOW ARE YOU ABLE TO BE SO PERFECT??
You know I need these in my life Sarah! 😂 @boxroomart FTW!
Wait, what are bender brushes
hey dear❤ love your videos😍 I buy karin markers I just want to know that can I used this marker to write on cloth like white shirt?? Hope you reply😊😊
They are waterbased so they will wash off on fabric! To letter on fabric you may want to try sharpie stained fabric markers or marvy fabric markers!
Great review, Sarah! Nice to hear the comparison cost to the Tombows and that they hold up to watercolor and mixed media paper. Ps. I subscribed. 👍 @theletteringcompanion
omg seriously wish I could get these
They’re so good! Thanks for watching! 😊
What type of black paper are you using with the metallic brush pens?
stitchnbitch29 It’s just a black card stock! I can’t remember the brand, maybe Astro?
@ltrumpy these markers look amazing!
Hiii i just wanted to ask how to not make it bleed when blending on watercolor paper. When i try to blend it ends up bleeding too much:(
Elyzza Gonzales Yes! It’s because they’re SO juicy! So when I’m blending just slightly it doesn’t bleed but if I’m going to do a more intense blending piece, they need even thicker, better quality watercolor paper!
Ensign Insights Ok Thank youuuu soo much☺️
These also write like butter on X-Press It Blending Card!
That’s good to know! I haven’t tried that!
Can these pens be used on normal printer paper when not blending?
I probably wouldn’t use them on regular printer paper because they’re so inky, they would bleed right through!
What about pigment markers but they don’t have brush tip
What's the best kind of paper to use for brush markers?
This video about paper for brush lettering may be helpful to you: ruclips.net/video/1247d2Ba4Ns/видео.html
Thank you 😆
Godsgal1960 - after watching your review I am hoping I win the set!!! Cant wait to try these!
Which paper are you using?
Hi Sarah, this is @bas.aise.hi here. This review is really helpful. They look so juicy!
Also, I’m already subscribed to your channel :)
What about the brush tips is hard or very soft.
It's hard!
Thanks for reply. Is it like silicone tips. As some brush tips like that of tombow it worn out. Zig fudebyori and this one the same or different
Water proof and permanent?
@RusticDesignsByMegan - i noticed your giveaway on instagram and I love these markers!!!!
I was debating on tomboy or these and honestly the tomboy ones look like feel tips these are softer and they are more bendy and they are cheaper also the meta;pics ar bombbbbb
I have these
Can you refill them??????????
No they are not refillable unfortunately!
I have a question, do they have these on Target?
No they don’t! This is a small company based in Poland so they are only in certain places. But they do have them on Amazon!
I’ve been wanting to try these! @LettersOverLaundry
Water soluble?
Guysss help mee. Karin brushpens or tombow brushpens?
Can somebody tell me its price ???
Maybe the oily blender is glycerine?
you were the first person i saw using these karin markers and i’ve been dying to try them ever since!! 😍 (@alyssasletters 😘😘)
to anyone buying these....take note that the last couple of blender pens i have bought have been compleatly empy. they haven't dried out, they clearly were never filled to begin with so make sure wherever you buy from alows returns.
