Oh Debby this card is absolutely adorable. You always paint everything with so much love into your paintings. I Love to listen to you talk you sound so much like my grandmother and great grandmother. They are from Scotland 🏴 I remember my grandfather Macpherson would always put his kilt on and go out side and play his bagpipes every evening as the sun would set. You bring back a lot of wonderful memories of my grandparents with just listening to you talk. Thank You for sharing your Breathtakin Beautiful Cards with us. Sending Love, Hugs and Blessings. XOXO Vicki from the United States in the State of Utah ❤😊❣
Thank you, Vicki! I'm glad my videos transport you back in time. Even now, I can hear bagpipes on a regular basis. Recently, a piper played outside the window of a local care home resident for their birthday. We aren't able to visit care homes currently under lockdown rules. But I thought this a lovely way to celebrate as best we can at the moment. I passed a piper just today on the school run for a funeral. Normally, we hear the piper at the church celebrating weddings too. School gatherings at the church too usually have a piper. I hear the local school practising, my son's friend until recently lived at the back of us and he played the pipes too. Seeing someone walk down the road in a kilt is still a regular occurrence. I do love living here and that people are continuing with traditions.
What a gifted artist, you are truly inspiring. I have painted for 30 years and am inspired to try water colours using these pens. Thank you it was lovely watching this video.
Because of this video I purchased the Karin Markers and love them. Is there a video on how to do the swatches. I am such a beginner! I struggle to get my art to come out on paper as I see it in my mind. Thank you for a great video you have the perfect calm voice for teaching water anything.
I loved this review. I really loved how cute your card was. I love vibrant colors and think those pens would be perfect for me. Wellington reminded me of my shitzu I used to have. Sweet pup! I love the speed of your videos and your accent is so lovely to listen to. Thank you!
Thank you Debby! I recently purchased Karin markers. I was a little bit timid about using them. I am still timid, but your colouring make them look beautiful.
I was just thinking about watercolour pens as I've been furloughed off work from today. Thank you so much for the review, the paper pad looks really good too :)
It's been a long time since I used Zigs. From memory I'd say these markers have more intense colour and a nicer nib. However, it has been a long time so it might be worth googling to see if someone has done a recent comparison.
Sorry for the late reply Sheri, I think by the look of it I am using an Escoda Versatil brush in size 2 to draw out the colour after applying the Karin Markers. I hope that helps :D
Hi Angela, I think by the look of it I am using an Escoda Versatil brush in size 2 to draw out the colour after applying the Karin Markers. I hope that helps :D
I like the Escoda brushes. The ones I reach for most at present are Versatil travel brushes. For card making a great one is size 4. It goes to a fine point and yet has some breadth to hold paint/cover larger areas.

What is the make and size of the watercolor brush, Debbie? This is SO beautiful and I LOVE the Karin Brushmarkers!!! I can't wait to experiment!
Hi, the brush I was using was an Escoda Versatile and I'm thinking size 2 from watching what I was doing. Enjoy experimenting :D
This is stunning!!❤️

Love this. Would be interested to know if you have used the Kuretake Zig Real Brush Markers and how these compare?
It's been a long time since I used Zigs. From memory I'd say these markers have more intense colour and a nicer nib. However, it has been a long time so it might be worth googling to see if someone has done a recent comparison.

Does anyone know which brush she is using? She uses this travel brush often and I'd love to know which one it is (and which size-4??).
