Your cards are so very Breathtakin, Beautiful, Debby. I enjoy watching you paint, as I also enjoy and have a Love for Watercolour painting so very much. I'm 62 years old and have been painting since I was 7years old. I go for the muted colors, they are my favorite ❤😊❣ Debby you have inspired me to pick up this exquisite stamp set so that I may be able to paint some beautiful cards also. Thank You for sharing and until next time Please take care, be safe and stay Healthy. Sending Love, Hugs and Blessings from the United States in the State of Utah XOXO Vicki 🥰❤😊❣
Ahhhh, Debby! Just what I needed on this sleepless night. Your darling soothing voice and amazing artistic talent in watercolor! I love your videos so much as they are so inspiring! Thank you so much for investing the video time. God bless you!
We all have colours that just make our hearts sing. Trying new things is enjoyable too but I've got colour combos that I always find myself coming back to. Really enjoyed the video today. I found your choice of music really calming. Slowed down the video and just enjoyed watching your paint. You have to look after your health and having one video or blog post is more then enough for me. Cheers Lisa
I absolutely love this. I love your muted palette, it is much more pleasing to the eye and I could watch you paint all day. Thank you so much for sharing your talent and love of watercolour with us. Thank you again
Debby, you do YOU beautifully - and I adore your soft muted color choices! The end result is gorgeous, as always - this time twice the enjoyment! I've once again tried to get my 'Debby on' attempting a bit of no-line water color painting. Thanks for continuing to inspire me all these years! xx
Wow! Wow!! Wow!! Debby, you’re amazing and have incredible talent. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing!! And just for the record, I LOVE the color palette you used in this. Just gorgeous!!
This set wasn't even on my horizon until I saw your cards - THUD! Straight away to SSS. I will be enjoying your video many times as I watercolor "my" garden. Thank you so much for the inspiration!
Such a gorgeous card Debby. I really enjoyed the mixture of real time mixed in with the sped up version. I hope to see more of this type of format. You are my absolute favorite watercolor artist. I am so glad you share your painting world with the rest of us. Have a fantastic day 💖
Debby, you never cease to amaze me with your beautiful, talented and precise water colored pieces! I sit and watch your videos in amazement, wishing I had steady enough hands to even try water coloring. These two pieces are simply beautiful in every way! You rock, Lady!
Oh wow! Your painting style is so lovely! While I enjoy a pretty card with bright rainbow colors, I too am drawn more to a muted palette. I really love the cards you made. The recipients will sure treasure them!
Debby, Your cards are gorgeous. I love watching you paint. I also watercolor stamped images for cards and I'm still learning. I need to paint more often to get better. I also use Antique Linen Distress Ink for my images. Looking forward to more of your videos with your lovely images.
I'm glad that after pushing your colour boundaries, you came to the place where you recognize that your own style is fine the way it is. Your projects are always beautiful - no need to leave a comfort zone that is so successful. When I look at your work, I always feel transported to a place of peace and harmony, splatters and all!
I personally love your muted color scheme. your watercoloring is amazing and I could watch your videos all day! Thanks for sharing your amazing talent!
Just when I think you’re done, then you go and add something more, and I’m like ‘Wow!” So beautiful! I love watching you paint. It’s so relaxing and the music is so uplifting.
This card is so beautiful! It’s also the best video on watercolor I’ve seen. Please do more like it. Maybe you could show your watercolors while you’re using them? Thx💕
Beautiful Deby, perfect mix of fine art and card making. I'll be binge watching when I'm left with some free time 😉 oh and once a week is plenty, the majority of RUclipsrs only produce once a week, it provides better content and better quality videos, any more is sometimes too much and I don't always watch all of them 💞
Wow! These are so beautiful! Your painting reminds me of an artist that used to have a line of merchandise through Hallmark, her name is Marjolein Bastin. Just gorgeous!!!! Wow!
😲😲😲 ❤😘 I can't get enough! Thank you for showing some real time coloring also. You are so talented! I know your busy but maybe in the future you could do a small image real close up & all us through the colors & how to do it. 😉😁❤
Traci, you've given me an idea for a video, thank you! I like your idea of concentrating on a small area and really talking it through. Perhaps I'll have a go at showing just one petal or flower or something but in real-time and more detailed. Again, thank you!
@@DebbyHughes yea exactly. Even one of the Anita Jeram images. Thank you! I just got the bird house & birdie stamps & dies to try to make that your card. ❤😘
These are absolutely stunning. I could watch you paint all day. Quick question for you, if you’re willing to answer. I’ll understand if you don’t. Where did you get your music from in this video? I struggle with finding good instrumentals like this and I really liked the smooth sound you chose. Thanks for sharing, Debby!! 💜💜
Hi Misty, and I'm happy to help in any way I can. I have often used a free option called bensound and they are worth looking up. You give them credit in the description if you use their music. I've recently been trying out soundstripe, a subscription service. I like that people are getting paid for me using the music and it has a more polished feel. Hope that helps.
Absolutely lovely painting/cards! I really enjoyed the music as well. I just subscribed! (Cindy-Lynn from My Inkie Fingers raved about your water colouring.) 🇨🇦
I really enjoyed watching you watercolor this pretty floral image and appreciate that you included some real time parts along the way, it's very instructive. I'm so glad you stuck with the color palette you are most comfortable with, it truly puts your individual mark on these cards, which are just stunning! Thanks for the great video!
Once again Debbie, this is such a beautiful painting and so fun to watch. When you say you use the Daniel Smith paints, is there a set of "your favorites" colors that you often times use that we can purchase? Or do you use random colors each time you do a painting? I didn't see on the list of supplies the colors that you used in this watercolor card. Thank you so much for filming this and sharing your talent with us.
Hi Linda, firstly thank you so much! Secondly, the colours, hmmm, I do have rather a lot now. I've been collecting them for a while. However, if I were to pick favourites that always end up in my palette, I'd choose: Pyrrol Scarlet, Quinacridone Rose, Quinacridone Coral, Burnt Sienna, Transparent Red Oxide, Quinacridone Gold, Hansa Yellow Light, Undersea Green, Perylene Green, Ultramarine Blue, Cerulean Blue Chromium, Rose Of Ultramarine, Lunar Black, Shadow Violet .... There's a lot there I know. I find narrowing down my colour choices hard! However, look to have a couple of each of the primary colours, one warm and one cold of Red, Yellow and Blue and then throw in convenience colours that you like. Hope that helps!
@@DebbyHughes Thank you so much Debbie for taking the time to let me know what beautiful colors you often times use. They are indeed beautiful colors!!! I just love the muted look that your painting often have. I love your "real time" coloring...gives us an idea how long it takes to paint these pictures. When the video was sped up my grand daughter said, "Wow I wish I could pain that fast!!!" :) Too fun!!! Anyways watching you pain is so calming to watch especially in this crazy world we are living in today. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us.

A tip I use for details in painting is to kick my pinky out to brace my hand.
