Debbie, Thank you for slowing down your videos and sharing more detail to your wonderful skill. I feel a bit more confident to try your technique. You are truly a gifted artist.
Such talent you have, from your flawless instruction, the colors you choose, the music and of course, to the beautiful loose water coloring. Thank you🌷
Wonderful video Debbie. I'll be honest, I could happily watch you paint the card in real time! Love the music too, perfectly complimented your style. Cheers Lisa
Glad you enjoyed it. I've been looking at music for my videos. As I am making more of them now I want to get that feel right. Calm and mellow but uplifting too hopefully. We don't want to be down beat at the moment!
Wonderful tutorial. Your choice and then mixing of colours is inspired. Loved the afterthought leaves - perfect composition. Please don’t be concerned about length of videos. We are enraptured by your talent and skill. Hope you are feeling well at the moment. Thank you.
This was such a joy to watch - enough so that I’m going to watch again! Will see if I’m able to slow it down during the sped-up parts just so I can enjoy it longer :o) I love the tip about using 2 brushes (1with just water)! Not only could it save time, but also not waste paint by cleaning brush every time switching to clean water. Your painting process, stylistic choices & end-results are fabulous. I really love it and appreciate being able to watch! Thank you so much!
I LOVE your paintings!! Thank you for walking us through how to do it but I’m sure mine will look nothing like yours. The speed of video was perfect also. ❤️
Absolutely gorgeous! It should be framed and displayed for all to see. 😍 I appreciate all the great tips you give and it makes me laugh because I’m always fiddling with mine even when they’re finished. 😁
Absolutely magic as usual. Thank you for sharing your tips and tricks, I have been using the two brush technique that you do, and it is so much better. Thanks again, so much
Stunning card; love the colors and the technique. Thank you so much for the tutorial and a beautiful start to my morning. Have a great weekend and please stay safe.
Debbie, I love your water coloring...This video is stunning and simply amazing all at the same time. !!! So fun to watch. Are you able to tell us what paintbrush you are using. Thank you.
Lovely card! Question: When stamping with the water-reactive Antique Linen, how do you keep those ink lines from turning fuzzy and reacting like the paints? My stamped paints end up with the no-line lines looking fuzzy and slightly spreading.
Lovely!!! Do you have a video that shows how you use the water and colors? I’d like to see how and when you use clean water and how much color you use. Thx!
Thank you for sharing your talented gifts. Please tell me what colour Daniel Smith watercolour you used for the flowers as my lack of clear hearing has me baffled. Learned so much from your slower video.
As always, very beautiful and very envious of your talent!! I’m am a new crafter. What paint brushes and paint do you highly recommend? I clicked on your link for the Daniel paint but it’s only a dot of paint, not sure if that would be the best rout or a pallet box? Thank you in advance for your expertise 🥰
Hi Gaby, for paint brushes I like Escoda Versatil (more pricey) or Princeton Heritage 4050 (more reasonably priced). I'd recommend a size 2 and size 4 round for card making. As for paints, the dot cards are a great starting point as they give you some colours to try at a good price. They are just a starting point though. Once you've found a couple of colours you like, I'd recommend buying an inexpensive palette and paint in tubes. I hope you enjoy your watercolour journey as much as I have!

Hi Karen, sorry for my delayed response. Ok, the small brush, I have a few small brushes but I think the one I was using was a size 2/0 studio synthetics brush from Jackson's. I have a range of brushes I've tried over the years. My current favourites are round synthetic brushes. I usually use a size 2 and 4 for card making but like a smaller brush for fine detail and a larger one for background washes. Hope that helps :D
A winner!! You are not only a card guru, but most definitely a watercolour artist of note!!! Thank you, your demos are superb !!
Debbie,

Lovely, Debby!
I really enjoy the way you demonstrate your art. Thank you.
Absolutely gorgeous! It should be framed and displayed for all to see. 😍 I appreciate all the great tips you give and it makes me laugh because I’m always fiddling with mine even when they’re finished. 😁
Me too! It is part of my process as an indecisive person - layer by layer, fiddle by fiddle until I feel it is right!
Haha it’s not finished until we say it’s finished! 😊
Absolutely beautiful.

It was Piemontite Genuine (hope I've spelt that right) it is a muddy, red-brown and I love it!
