Great review Claire, they look like a lovely set to own. I have the Arteza brush pens so I don't feel quite the urge to rush out and buy them, but "open stock" is always an excellent selling point. On the other hand, neon colours sound like a very useful addition to my supplies. Have I been enabled yet again!
I have the full set of these Claire & a box of neons. I use them in my mixed media books & journals. They are great such fun to use I actually bought my son a set. He’s a fantastic artist. Thanks for sharing xx
I do love your demonstrations! Every review is so informative and thorough. These look to be a fantastic product Claire. Thank You for showing them to us.
Thanks for the tips! I've just got a 12-piece skin set, I have never used anything like these before. E.g. I had no idea you had to use water to blend them - I just tried to blend them using the lighter colour... It worked, after all, but it's a lot easier with a bit of water. The paint-on-water technique is really interesting, too, although the paper I was using gave up really quickly. I imagine it works better on proper painting paper.
Great review! Glad to hear they are odorless, I’ve been wondering if I should get these all day because I didn’t know if they would smell because I get headaches from markers that smell like alcohol based markers
These are so Beautiful, i love the Metallic colors and well samething to canada they are so expensive, your lucky to live in US becausew you've get some amazing Art supplies at very great price, Thank You for the great review Claire!
I ordered mine of Saturday. I went to the website and ordered directly from Karin. Amazon does have some sets, but if you wants to full set, the have to go directly to the Karin website.
These pens look awesome to color with!! I’m looking tyforvthem and hoping to order. Thank you so much foe sharing! Love the markers - I’m on a mission to find them!!
Hi Claire, thankyou for posting this great vid, it's always great to see videos made by a fellow BRIT! ! A really informative and very helpful vid. I am a big fan of markers, BUT there is NO WAY I could ever afford the Copic markers, although I dare say people do swear by them. I find It's really frustrating that these marker manufacturers that produce the double ended markers, even the cheap varieties, is that they never produce a marker pen with a fine brush tip, it's always a thick tip and then the other end is always (that swear word) a chisel tip. ..SO Annoying!!!! I shall definitely be looking these up and invest my money in buying these, the packaging too is very impressive. Thankyou once again Claire, I wished all videos were as good as yours! And I'd just like to wish you a Very Happy New Year, I hope 2019 is an even happier and prosperous one for you. Take care x
Hi Claire! Thank you for this review. These are very attractive pens. Are there any significant differences between the Karin Brushmarker Pros vs Tombows or other run of the mill water-based brush pens? (Aside from open stock and pricing)
Can I ask do the reds stay red? If you know what I mean. Also the black. I have zigs and arteza pens. Which I enjoy but struggle with the above colours as they tend to break to pink and the black goes blue. Thanks
When you say they take longer to dry, about how long are you talking before they are fully dry, so you can close a journal and not worry about it getting on the other pag?.
Hi Claire, super duper review because....I just ordered these pens! :D Would you be able to tell me where you got the book from though? I'm having trouble locating it (I'm in NZ and that might be why?) Many thanks
Colour with Claire Thank you so much for getting back to me! I’m in the US and I have only made one international purchase ever so I’m a bit hesitant... But I think I’m going to give it a go😊❤️
I struggle with migraines also, I tend to keep indirect air flow (fan or cross breeze) and sometimes wear ventilator masks (smells trigger) but the best things I've found to prevent them is not putting my hair up tightly in a ponytail and piercing my cartilage in my ear canal and popping in a cold titanium hoop when I feel one coming on or have one. (Happy accident)
Do they not sell these on Amazon U.S. if they do could you please give me a link to it. Thanks so much. So if I have Prime in the US is it still accepted in the UK or do I have to pay extra shipping if they don't sell them in the US i have never seen anything not on the US before just curious if it should ever come up. With Prime I don't have to pay shipping only a couple I have seen sold by someone else I don't get them can't afford paying shipping just don't get. 😏
These seem like they're basically a cheaper version of Chameleon pens with less bells and whistles? They seem to do the same things, are cheaper, and have a larger color selection (the blues are really pretty!).
You can buy the individual colors of your choice for $2.05 US dollar directly from the site. That's what I'm doing, building up my collection as I can afford and leaving alot of the unessecary colors out (like all those gray tone)
I purchased mine online from Ken Bromley Art Supplies in the UK. They do charge for shipping, but I found the shipping cost quite reasonable, as the cost of the markers was good, compared to the higher price I would pay here in Australia. I bought a whole heap of them, and the colourless blender, to make the overall price per marker cheaper, factoring in the shipping cost as well. May be worth checking out the shipping cost to the US?

I just bought and received mine! I can’t wait to try it out! Yay! Thanks for sharing this!🌼🤩👏🏻
I just bought the 60-piece Pro Brushmarkers and was so impressed. One surprise is that they work amazingly well on Yupo paper.
Great review! Glad to hear they are odorless, I’ve been wondering if I should get these all day because I didn’t know if they would smell because I get headaches from markers that smell like alcohol based markers

What a brilliant tutorial. Thank you.
Thanks Claire! Think I'm going to try these once I get a job.
These seems great! Have you tried doing this with other pages recently? Thanks Claire.
I ordered mine of Saturday. I went to the website and ordered directly from Karin. Amazon does have some sets, but if you wants to full set, the have to go directly to the Karin website.
Well there goes all my money.
Also, I do that with my water brushes too, my hands are always covered in some sort of paint 😂

Always enjoy your videos, thanks for sharing.
They look lovely I saw them on amazon
LOL I am so very glad I'm not the only one that uses their off-hand to wipe off the waterbrush. I do that all the time heh. :)
Diniah Nightshade we can make a club!

These feel juicier than Tombow and “melt” much easier with water if that makes sense?
Colour with Claire That makes sense! Thanks again Claire! 😊
It is so nice to see some art suplises from my country

thanks for the review.... does the water brush come together with the markers or you have to buy it separately
Separately
Does anybody know if these are refillable at all as the large box is quite expensive?
Hi Claire, super duper review because....I just ordered these pens! :D Would you be able to tell me where you got the book from though? I'm having trouble locating it (I'm in NZ and that might be why?) Many thanks
Sorry I can't find it anywhere on the net in NZ :(
@@ColourwithClaire Oh well! I appreciate you having a check :) I've just bought some Korean watercolour books on Etsy so that will keep me happy!
My wishlist , but i cant get it on my country tbh
Awesome review! In your opinion how do these compare to the Clean color real brush watercolor markers?
These feel much juicier and I like the nib better xx
Colour with Claire Thank you so much for getting back to me! I’m in the US and I have only made one international purchase ever so I’m a bit hesitant... But I think I’m going to give it a go😊❤️
Excellent review - do you prefer these, or the Spectrum Noir Aqua markers?
These xx
@@ColourwithClaire Thanks Claire - always appreciate your honesty. It helps us decide what to buy.
Does the 60 set include the 10 metallics or I have to buy the 10 set separate? Thank you again for great review. 👍
Separate
They look great! Can you tell me what the name of the book is that you were testing the colours in please and where I can get it? Thanks Claire xxx💕

What brand is your water brush?

Do you have the arteza ones how do these compare to those
I like these better 🙂
Does that set come with the water pen??
No, it does come with the colourless blender
Do you know if they have any plans to sell on amazon US? Great review!
Not sure x
Awesome looking markers.
How to order these
Link in description
Hi how long do these last?
Mine are still going strong, it depends how much you use them of course
Great video 🤩 thank you 😍
These seem like they're basically a cheaper version of Chameleon pens with less bells and whistles? They seem to do the same things, are cheaper, and have a larger color selection (the blues are really pretty!).
They’re not alcohol based like chameleons but they can do the same techniques xx
@@ColourwithClaire They looked like they blended beautifully with water--how well do they blend without it?
do they fray with normal printer paper
If you layer them too much yes
Love the name ☺️
Oh I want these
I clean my waterbrush on my clothes... I only wear black so noone will notice
And I don't have to remember if the paint are toxic or not
They are very beautiful, I love the colours but I live in Canada and they are a bit pricey for me being on disability.

Beautiful
Loving them but where can you buy the open stock Claire? Xx
On the Karin website link in description x
Thank you 😍
While I do have a full set of arteza markers these will be in my wish list. I just love new options
OMG...FUN! 😎
They look lovely , but i wish they were not so expensive ,as
Most good markers seem to be 😟
Grab some open stock or one of the 12 sets x
Awesome awesome review! I’m getting some of these with my first subscription box to idoodleisketchidraw :-) Very helpful!
Oh no. They don't ship to the STATES. IT IS IN LARGE LETTERS ON THE AMAZON SITE. But i want some.........
