This is the answer to my prayers of sorts. I absolutely love tye-dye and rainbows, especially abalone shells. I just love this set of colors and techniques. Thank you so much for sharing this. You have an absolutely wonderful day! 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
This is one of my favorite video of yours. I have used this before but I am watching again to refresh my memory. I copied your colors last time. I think this time I am going to be daring and try my own.
Your iridescent scales are simply eye catching. The green looked good, but I have to say the first turtle steals the show. You started me thinking; always a dangerous move! The iridescence effect is simply a property of light diffraction, so any variation of rainbow colours in sequence should work equally as well to produce those stunning effects. I'm thinking also of the effect you get when light catches a thin film of oil on water, with the ripples on the water surface. Thanks Claire, another great tutorial, as usual.
Love your tutorials!! Quick and to the point with tons of information. You have great talent - thank you so much for sharing with us. Can't wait to try this!!

Now I really want soft pencils to make my life easier 😂 I just can't believe how brilliant that looks, so alive, like fluifs... Unbelievable 😍... So well done, Claire!❤️💗💖
this is a tutorial I've been hoping for. i was thinking of doing a northern lights style sky background for my current picture im colouring and was confused on how to do it with pencil, so thank you Claire this has helped me a lot i didn't realise how simple it would be to do x
Love the effect you get from this technique and so versatile too. Thank you for sharing. I am wondering if it would work with metallic pencils to colour jewels and crystals. I’ll have to give it a try.
This tutorial ROCKS. I suck at doing iridescent. I think it's because I have been trying to do it in large areas and it loses it texture. The smaller areas really take on the look.
That is absolutely gorgeous. I’ve been wondering how to do that and I am so glad I found your video. You make the randomness seem so easy to do. What color and technique would you use for the open lines in between each section? Thank you
I absolutely love this!! I lost my cream PrismaColor and it's driving me insane!! Especially because my Michael's has been out of it (open stock) for months! I'm going to try this with lemon yellow...ginger root and white layered...and maybe topped with colorless blender?? hopefully I get a creamy shade 🤣
I am so in love with this design thanks to you my colouring has improved ten fold in just the few weeks since I found your channel. Can you suggest any other colour combos as I am still trying to get my head around colour therapy. You are amazing x
So will the paper make a big difference? Bc I have the same color pencils but can not get anywhere close to looking as amazing as yours is. I always loved to draw but never color but now I'm actually practicing and watching your videos. Love your teaching and calm voice
Great sunset idea too thanks
So beautiful Claire
you definitely should post this with a warning about the addictive qualities of this groovy technique!
