This explains why some of the "myths" were so weird. It really was they got an idea they wanted to test and so made up a myth no one has ever heard of so they could test it.

The Adam and Jamie’s duo is like an old married couple relationship, theyre obviously not being best buddies and it gives actual personality to the show.
It's so amazing how Adam and Jamie were able to work so well together even though apparently they really don't even like each other. They don't get along well outside of the show. I was really surprised to find that out, because you would never know it from watching them. They were a great team on the show and I thought for sure they were best friends. I guess that really shows how professional they are.

You don't work with someone for that many years if you don't like them. They just are not best buds that hang out together in their off time like everyone thinks they do. Neither do Penn and Teller. For all the talk about them not being friends and making it work, you can actually see them getting on each others nerves in the first few episodes(really just adam getting upset about his eyebrows and jamie’s unsympathetic reaction.) So not only did they not really have an interest in friendship, but they managed to make something professional and lighthearted out of what could have otherwise been antagonistic and dramatic, which is something I gladly believe they recognized early on nobody really wanted.
I went back and watched every episode one Discovery+ recently. It was kind of shocking to me how much they butted heads in the early seasons. It happened all the time, I never remembered that from my childhood.

this is the reason i have always loved the mythbusters. They're just engineers/makers that got paid to test myths and have fun using their brains. Brilliant show and i love that Adam Savage went on to make tested, his 1 day builds are the best.
I grew up watching these guys and I’ve learned so many things from all of them. They were and still are proof that you can be really freaking smart and have fun all at the same time.

I like how jaime is like, "no one has the tools to modify man hole covers when they're traveling" meanwhile my brain goes "who brings a man hole cover in their car with them?" The point is still the same, none of these things are realistic to be performed by the audience, they are testing this because it's fun and entertaining to figure out the question "would it work?" And that's why i loved mythbusters.

You know, I can confidently say that i think RUclips’s algorithm is watching out for us. Every once in awhile it just revives a gem, sometimes from over a decade ago, and everyone seems to bond over it. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen the most random video at 3 am that I grew to appreciate.

NeOn say you're a RUclipsr that relys upon RUclips for money and you get ill for a fortnight and can't upload. You get no sick pay and when you get back the algorithm won't show your videos to any of your old subscribers and you essentially have to start again. Take tobuscus for example with 6 million subs but now fewer than 100k views per video after he had to deal with depression after a fake rape allegation
The RUclips suggest algorithm is like roulette, you never know what you'll get when you refresh. Sometimes a winner, sometimes a loser. This has helped me find and subscribe to channels I didn't know existed.

Optical Clarity that's like me, I upload videos where I talk about how i want to upload content of me hunting and fishing. I dip and I show my confederate battle flag. I show that I'm a Christian, a conservative, and I listen to rock. Those reasons and just any one reason alone is a reason that youtube wants to try to keep my from making money. I didn't join youtube for a job but for something to do. A little money here and there for taking time out of my day to entertain other people would be nice but I'm not complaining. However due to the fact that I'm not a liberal that makes youtube not wanna advertise on my content. Not only is that biased but it's also discrimination. I get that everyone has their own political views but that doesn't mean you have to discriminate against people with diffent views. Most people are blind and oblivious to this and jump on people like me who wanna spread the truth. But put yourself in our position then you'll realise we're not complaining. Just merely spreading facts.

You get no sick pay and when you get back the algorithm won't show your videos to any of your old subscribers and you essentially have to start again. Take tobuscus for example with 6 million subs but now fewer than 100k views per video after he had to deal with depression after a fake rape allegation

RUclips is part of Alphabet Inc. it will never ever have any problems.
The RUclips suggest algorithm is like roulette, you never know what you'll get when you refresh. Sometimes a winner, sometimes a loser. This has helped me find and subscribe to channels I didn't know existed.

Optical Clarity that's like me, I upload videos where I talk about how i want to upload content of me hunting and fishing. I dip and I show my confederate battle flag. I show that I'm a Christian, a conservative, and I listen to rock. Those reasons and just any one reason alone is a reason that youtube wants to try to keep my from making money. I didn't join youtube for a job but for something to do. A little money here and there for taking time out of my day to entertain other people would be nice but I'm not complaining. However due to the fact that I'm not a liberal that makes youtube not wanna advertise on my content. Not only is that biased but it's also discrimination. I get that everyone has their own political views but that doesn't mean you have to discriminate against people with diffent views. Most people are blind and oblivious to this and jump on people like me who wanna spread the truth. But put yourself in our position then you'll realise we're not complaining. Just merely spreading facts.

although it sucks they wherent friends and clashed quite a bit, its good to know that they still enjoyed working together in the way where one would bring an idea and the other would bring up another and would test each other in a scientific way, as adam said it was fun working with jamie and in the underwater tests they wouldnt always need to comunicate verbally, along with the amount ofntrust they have for each other where one (normally adam) essentially put their life in the others hands, although they werent really friends they still had great respect for eachother and had fun working with eachother
