Karthikeyan Iyer no it isnt because you are spending much more time without blinking so just a rabdom guess but if you use 16 minutes blinking everyday you just - 16 from 1424 (the time you spend not blinking) and use that instead (this is though without taking in account the amount of time your eyes are closed when sleeping) ;)

The bit at the end of the video reminded me that some rhythm game players will blink their eyes one at a time to avoid missing anything while playing. Jakads is one example of someone that I've noticed with this blinking method. That might throw a bit of a spanner into the odds of everyone blinking or being asleep at the same time, if there are more people from more time zones that also do this while gaming. They'd all have to be asleep, or not gaming, to close both eyes at the same time.
