I used my iPhone 8 256 gb since Oct 2020 until it broke on March 2024. My mom was going to buy me the 15 and told me not to to worry about the budget cuz she wanted me to not have problems about secondhand phones anymore. But after hearing recommendations from my auntie, they decided to just go for the 13 since they told me it was revolutionary. I didn’t believe at first but I was happy with any phone as long as it was brand new (I’ve always got secondhand phones which gave me a lot of problems. Even the iPhone 11 was good enough for me as long as it was brand new.) I got the 13 on April 11, 2024. The battery life is AMAZING. The change from the 8 to the 13 was so new to me. I love it! I’m planning to keep this phone until I graduate on 2027. It’s just enough to receive updates until that year. Also, I really saw how many people praised the iPhone 13 and I loved it even more. 😂
I upgraded from the XS to a 13 Mini back in January, and I absolutely love it. I know it gets a lot of love on this platform, and I was hoping Apple would recycle its form factor for the new SE. As I’m not a fan of full cases, I use my Product Red 13 Mini with a bumper, MagSafe grip and wrist strap. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for the content.
The blocky design is my all time favorite, I’ve had an iPhone since my 5s.. I was so mad when they went away from the blocky design and glad they went back
The iPhone 13 series is one of the best iPhone series Apple ever made, with one of the best battery life ever introduced, Im currently using a iPhone 13 Pro Max and I have to say it was still a pretty solid phone
Currently using my 13 that i got about 6 months after launch. Quite honestly, minus a couple infrequent hiccups, it’s still a fast as the day i got it. So far, it’s the best phone i’ve ever owned.
Ive never had an iphone, my family has always bought me a samsung, i thought iphones were crazy expensive but i see that they are cheap and affordable, so im getting an iphone 13
I’m in Canada as well , and I am an ex-14 pro user. Something happened to my 14, i just got the 13 today. I am curious and wanted to hear if there are others still talking about the 13 and others’ reviews, whether they still recommend it , so here I am on RUclips. I remembered there are reviewers complimenting and recommend the 13. I made a great great discovery the Amazon still has the 13, brand new apparently, and sold by apple fulfilled by Amazon , just $680 Cad, what’s even sweeter is that price is the 256gb model!
I’ve had the iPhone 11 for years ( never had a problem just broke the screen and the touch sensor) but I ended up getting the iPhone 13 the other day still don’t know what’s new about it but I sure am loving it
I upgraded from SE2 to the dark green 13 when it came out with intention to keep it for as long as I can and I have to say that I am beyond happy. I think that I’ll hold onto it untill it won’t have problems or untill something groundbreaking will come out with new generations (which I doubt).
Just upgrading from my iPhone XR to iPhone 13 this week! Felt a huge jump for me, Bionic 15 is a great. Notch is also smaller. Will hold onto this for at least 4 years before thinking to get maybe iPhone 15 😂
I purchased my iPhone 13 back in September 2021, and it's still my trusted daily device to this day. It's been incredibly reliable and continues to serve me well! ❤
Almost every one of my friends that has an iPhone has either a 13, a 13 pro, a 13 mini or a 13 pro max. It just seems to be that good among apples lineup of phones. One or two of them tried dabbling with the 15 and decided they didn't care about the weird pill notch design, returned them and bought 13's, saving a lot of money in the process.
My 13 pro was probably one of the best iPhones I’ve ever owned… the battery in that phone was phenomenal, over 2 years and battery health was only at 89% and that was with heavy use during those 2 years.. I have a 15 pro now but I do reminisce about my 13 pro, it was just a great piece of phone
I went from an iPhone 12 mini to the 13 mini a little over two years ago. It’s been a great phone and a LOT better with heat management and battery life. My battery health is now at 88%. It’s noticeably not as strong as before, but still a great phone that I will likely have for at least another year or so! Truly hope the mini returns.
I hunted down and purchased a 13 mini brand new discounted at a local tech store as I’m not a fan of bigger phones. I bought it earlier this year. I enjoy music more than social media and all that i feel are distractions. I do love the mini but I just recently noticed that the battery health status has dropped to 99 percent health already 😢
Got mine for Christmas in 2022 and loved it ever since. Might get the 17 Pro max next year when it releases but for now I am so happy with this and will not upgrade. This phone does not fail me 😊
I have a product red 13 mini as my iPod replacement at my job and i love it. I had a full sized blue 13 that I gave to my dad once i (sadly) upgraded to the 14 Pro Max, its still the phone i recommend to all my family and friends. Great battery life, great cameras and a great deal overall 👍
iPhone 13 is my First iPhone. I shifted from android with 120Hz to iPhone 13 but it's unnoticeable I also love the ios software. I didn't regret buying this iPhone and it's my first ever iPhone
14 lineup isn’t worth it to me at all, the battery seems to deteriorate much faster, my brother had his for about a little over a year and he’s at 93% battery health, it took me 2 years on my 13 pro to hit 90% battery health.. my brother has a 14 pro and is already at 88% battery health in a year and a half
iPhone 13 base model will receive updates up to 2027-2028. It will be updated but those updates get more complex and some features later on won’t be available on iPhone 13. But it’s a fast iPhone it zips. But battery life I think is good you can expect 6-7 hours of screen on time. Overall it has good camera system, zippy performance and good battery life. In 2024 and beyond will still be a good buy now.
This video rlly helped me out learning some new stuff about the 13. I've been a Samsung user my whole life and planning on buying a iphone 13 to try apple out. Great video!
I have bought several phones from Amazon renewed they have been great and you have 365 days to return. I love your videos. ❤ I have the iPhone 13 and the iPhone 13 mini I love these phones.
Just got an IPhone 13 a few days ago. Such a lovely sleek and high performing phone. My friends told me after 13 series, IPhones aren’t upgrading exponentially to justify the price of a 15. Happy with my purchase.
Got my iPhone 13 in December of 2021 and it’s been working wonders !! Recently had a battery scare but replaced now and works just as great, it’s a really nice phone and I doubly ill be upgrading anytime soon unless it physically cannot run anymore
using iphone 13 since july 2022 and this phone is unbreakable. i dropped it many times on different surfaces (in case tho) but glass on both sides is pristine. none of my phones before (iphone 4s, iphone 7 plus and several androids in between) had this superpower. the design was improved so much, i forgot how the phone model can have its signature deceases (like faulty wifi antenna in iphone 4s and boot loop in iphone 7) (all tech specs are on the second place for me hhh) cameras are great, screen is great, charging is fast, the phone is fast itself
I love my iPhone 13. I recently had the battery replaced by apple (what a mission) anyways I can’t seem to pull the trigger on the newer iPhones yet… I’ll stick to my 13 for now
My 13 Pro has been holding up pretty well but man the battery health is going down faster than expected. I’m at 83% for now but the moment it goes to 75% I’ll probably switch it out ( I am a delivery driver so having a longer battery life is essential ) other than that though it’s been pretty well at whatever I need it for. Definitely recommend it as a backup or vacation phone.
My buddy upgraded to a 13 from a XR. Originally i recommended a 14 just cause it was newer and might get a year more in software support but the 13 is actually very nice. It has good battery life a great camera and it’s still so fast.
I'm still on an iPhone XR and haven't changed my battery yet. Certain AI features and location services cause my phone to lag out now. But after disabling most it still works quite well. So I could see iPhone 13 easily lasting another 3 years.
I went from the iPhone SE 2nd Gen to the iPhone 14 last year. No complaints here. I probably would have went with the iPhone 13, but the 14 also has the Satellite SOS connectivity and automatic crash detection which is important for me since I travel a lot.
I have a iPhone 13 and let’s just say it’s a great iPhone for what you get. Unfortunately my time with it is ending in September but I have it since July 2022 and I will be upset to get rid of it but for the time being I love this phone!
I just bought a brand new iphone 13 so this is definitely helpful! I've been searching for more recent information but most are from when the phone first came out. (Also yes, it is brand new from the apple website haha)
Had to switch from 12 mini just bc of the battery life, got the 13 and never had to worry bout the reliability of my handheld ever since. Simply love this one. ;)
Did you do it yourself or you went to Apple? When I had an iPhone 8, I replace the battery every time. I feel like the newer phones could break easier if I try doing it.
I have one ( and an android) the 13 is a great phone. I’ve had mine over a year and the battery is still 100% ( well it says that in battery management) only drawback was it experienced the rainbow screen of death just before its one year warranty expired. Apple fitted me a new screen for free
I just got the 13 two days ago after using android for 10 years. I was worried about 60hz screen bcs my previous phone got 120hz but I personally don’t notice any difference unless it was side by side comparison.
I got my iPhone 13 Christmas Day 2021, I upgraded from an xr. Phone has been amazing and is still running well in 2024, only down side I have had is the battery health is slowly dipping below 80%. Other than that, this is the best iPhone I’ve ever had.
I got my iPhone 13 when it come out and me personally I absolutely love it! I have had it since January 2022 and I plan to get another brand new iPhone 13 it’s just what I need
I bought one brand new half a year ago. It’s got headroom for years performance wise but somehow, with very light use and low brightness, it fell all the way down to 75% BH
The iPhone 13 is absolutely perfect in every way. The A15 makes it super efficient, and the screen is great too. All around a solid phone. I have no reason to get the IPhone 15.
I got a second hand iPhone 13 mini. Love the size but the battery has degraded to 83% and that it unsettling as I need to take a power bank with me. Otherwise it’s great. Smaller keyboard needs a bit of adjusting but soon gets used to it
Just bought the 13 mini last month. Love it so far. (Came from a 12 mini. I know kind of a pointless switch, but with no more mini coming up I had no choice when getting a new phone and I want to use it as long as possible)
iPhone 11 pro still riding till the wheels fall off. 12 or 13 mini (or whatever remains/becomes jailbreakable) will be next when that day comes. I must admit the ear speaker, mute switch and volume up button have gone out, but considering I break everything I own, its doing great. It's not jailbroken anymore :/
This is such a weird video because I switched to from Android to an iPhone 13PM not even two years ago and it's still running like brand new, minus some superficial scratches and plus software updates. It's like, are the Pop-Tarts in my cabinet that I bought last week still good? Like, yeah. They're good. So is the iPhone 13.
Love my iPhone 13 Pro Max.Still going strong ,even better with iOS 17.5. Update.Wouldn’t change it for the 14 or 15.Best of all we have support for iPhone 13 until 2028-2030. 😁👍
I have the iPhone 13 in blue as my secondary phone for business. With my primary and personal phone being the 15 pro max. Switching back and forth between these two phones doesn’t at all feel like I’m going from a more premium phone to a less premium one. They both feel fantastic. Apple does well when tailoring the software to its hardware capabilities. And the blue colour is the best blue Apple have made for iPhone. Which was one of the reasons I got it instead of the iPhone 14, with blue being my favourite colour. To anyone unsure about getting it, go for it 100%. Like josh said in the video Apple will continue supporting this iPhone with software updates for years and years to come. Still feels modern because of its timeless design and it’s the same design language as the current iPhone 15 line up.
My iPhone 13 has been good so far, it has definitely lasted longer than my old iPhone SE, that lost 10% of it's maximum capacity in 6 months, my iPhone 13 has only lost 1% and I've had it for 5 months. I still think I should've stayed on the iPhone SE and just got the battery replacement, the battery in that phone was probably faulty.
I’ve been using my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Gave it a new battery this year. Glad I did. Getting that amazing battery life again and the phone screen barely dims out anymore. This phone is a massive keeper. Keeping it till the end of software support
I upgraded from Xr to 13 and I didnt regret it the 13 is still fast camera is still the best had to compare it to my friend’s 14 i cant see the difference the best line up for me is the 13 series
Here in the UK you can still get the iPhone 12 on the Apple refurbished store for £419 (the iPhone 13 is £599 new or £509 refurbished). I'm sure a new 13 is better than a refurbished 12 - you get double the storage for a start - but I doubt it's going to be £180 better.
The iPhone 13 & 13 mini are both fantastic iPhones in my eyes, and hold up really well even almost 3 years later- for the most part, at least.

I just upgraded from the 8 to the 13 today but it doesn't ship until next week! How are you liking it so far? Was it a decent upgrade?
@@liquidtotem77 it’s been decent overall. Takes a while to get used to the lack of home button and the Face ID is temperamental at times which can be a bit frustrating but on the whole, it’s great. Much better camera and the battery life is insane in comparison.
We’re the same!
Got my pink iPhone 13 in January 2024 and it’s a great smartphone super quick and takes great pictures even low light 😊
how is the 60hz
I used my iphone6 plus for 6yrs and this week I will gt my new iphone 13 soo excited
Used my iphone 8 for 5,6 years
Currently using my 13 that i got about 6 months after launch.
Me too soon 🎉😂
So relatable I'm saving up now
this phone is cheap because its released over 3 years ago lmao
I just upgrade an iPhone 13 from 7 about 1 week ago and it really surprise me!
Will hold onto this for at least 4 years before thinking to get maybe iPhone 15 😂
i do the same. looking to jump to iphone 13 from iphone 8. And hold it a long time
I got my 13 Pro Max in February and I love it Greatest iPhone I've had after leaving Apple and going with Samsung for five years Glad I returned
I purchased my iPhone 13 back in September 2021, and it's still my trusted daily device to this day. It's been incredibly reliable and continues to serve me well! ❤
Do u think its worth purchasing in 2025?
This is the video I was looking for
I went from an iPhone 12 mini to the 13 mini a little over two years ago. It’s been a great phone and a LOT better with heat management and battery life.
My battery health is now at 88%. It’s noticeably not as strong as before, but still a great phone that I will likely have for at least another year or so!
Truly hope the mini returns.
Great info as always, thanks Josh!
Got a used but almost unused Iphone 13 for 250 dollars good deal.
iPhone 13 is my First iPhone. I shifted from android with 120Hz to iPhone 13 but it's unnoticeable I also love the ios software. I didn't regret buying this iPhone and it's my first ever iPhone
Same here!!
Same 🎉
None of these videos address the only thing I care about-how many more years will iOS support it
i think that maybe 4 years more?
Yeah it’s either 15 or 13 at this point
14 is just same as 13
Most of the upgrades 14 got are not that I care about
14 lineup isn’t worth it to me at all, the battery seems to deteriorate much faster, my brother had his for about a little over a year and he’s at 93% battery health, it took me 2 years on my 13 pro to hit 90% battery health.. my brother has a 14 pro and is already at 88% battery health in a year and a half
I’m upgrading this weekend. I’m rocking the iPhone 11 right now. My wife just got the iPhone 15 Pro Max so I am getting her old iPhone 13. 🎉
iPhone 13 base model will receive updates up to 2027-2028.
Watching this on my iPhone 13 purchased last month
The iPhone 13 holds up so well! Also love the use of Persona music in the video. Cheers!
Got my iPhone 13 in December of 2021 and it’s been working wonders !! Recently had a battery scare but replaced now and works just as great, it’s a really nice phone and I doubly ill be upgrading anytime soon unless it physically cannot run anymore
Original Apple Batterie ?
Yes the 13 is definitely still worth it amazing phone
using iphone 13 since july 2022 and this phone is unbreakable. i dropped it many times on different surfaces (in case tho) but glass on both sides is pristine. none of my phones before (iphone 4s, iphone 7 plus and several androids in between) had this superpower. the design was improved so much, i forgot how the phone model can have its signature deceases (like faulty wifi antenna in iphone 4s and boot loop in iphone 7)
(all tech specs are on the second place for me hhh)
cameras are great, screen is great, charging is fast, the phone is fast itself
My Xr still works perfectly fine
I’ve been using Iphone 13 mini since 2022 and it is still amazing today
I love my iPhone 13. I recently had the battery replaced by apple (what a mission) anyways I can’t seem to pull the trigger on the newer iPhones yet… I’ll stick to my 13 for now
My 13 Pro has been holding up pretty well but man the battery health is going down faster than expected. I’m at 83% for now but the moment it goes to 75% I’ll probably switch it out ( I am a delivery driver so having a longer battery life is essential ) other than that though it’s been pretty well at whatever I need it for. Definitely recommend it as a backup or vacation phone.
You can change the battery for $129 if you don't care about anything else
if battery life matters all that much to you, getting a plus would be a wise decision imo
Thanks for the video
Love my 13 mini.. still rocking 95% battery health! Best phone I ever used for personal use.
My buddy upgraded to a 13 from a XR. Originally i recommended a 14 just cause it was newer and might get a year more in software support but the 13 is actually very nice. It has good battery life a great camera and it’s still so fast.
13 And 14 have same chip, so they both have same tien software updates
Love my mini13 so pocketable and 1-hand use. Will get a battery replacement when needed to keep it going for several years to come.
I'm still on an iPhone XR and haven't changed my battery yet. Certain AI features and location services cause my phone to lag out now. But after disabling most it still works quite well. So I could see iPhone 13 easily lasting another 3 years.
I’d give it 4 more years
I went from the iPhone SE 2nd Gen to the iPhone 14 last year. No complaints here. I probably would have went with the iPhone 13, but the 14 also has the Satellite SOS connectivity and automatic crash detection which is important for me since I travel a lot.
For how much?
@@dark_nightwing_xl2797 the iPhone 14 was still $799 when I bought it but I had $200 (or a bit more, I forget) off with my trade in.
I have a iPhone 13 and let’s just say it’s a great iPhone for what you get. Unfortunately my time with it is ending in September but I have it since July 2022 and I will be upset to get rid of it but for the time being I love this phone!
Why is your time with it ending?

I just bought a brand new iphone 13 so this is definitely helpful! I've been searching for more recent information but most are from when the phone first came out.
(Also yes, it is brand new from the apple website haha)
How is it?
Had to switch from 12 mini just bc of the battery life, got the 13 and never had to worry bout the reliability of my handheld ever since. Simply love this one. ;)
got an iPhone 13, upgrade from my iPhone 6s 🙏🏽 the battery life is amazing
Just got the battery replaced on my 13 pro. Absolutely worth every penny. It's like a brand new phone again.
Did you do it yourself or you went to Apple? When I had an iPhone 8, I replace the battery every time. I feel like the newer phones could break easier if I try doing it.
@@jimmyboy1582 i had Apple do it
I went from a 7 to a 13 last year huge improvements definitely a good phone
I have one ( and an android) the 13 is a great phone. I’ve had mine over a year and the battery is still 100% ( well it says that in battery management) only drawback was it experienced the rainbow screen of death just before its one year warranty expired. Apple fitted me a new screen for free
Switched from iPhone SE 2nd gen to 13 mini earlier this year. The only thing I miss from the SE is Touch ID.
I got my 13 a week ago and I’m very satisfied with the battery and performance
I just got the 13 two days ago after using android for 10 years. I was worried about 60hz screen bcs my previous phone got 120hz but I personally don’t notice any difference unless it was side by side comparison.
I got my iPhone 13 Christmas Day 2021, I upgraded from an xr. Phone has been amazing and is still running well in 2024, only down side I have had is the battery health is slowly dipping below 80%. Other than that, this is the best iPhone I’ve ever had.
Do u think its still worth purchasing in 2025 or shoulf i wait till iphone 15 costs less?
I got my iPhone 13 when it come out and me personally I absolutely love it! I have had it since January 2022 and I plan to get another brand new iPhone 13 it’s just what I need
I bought one brand new half a year ago. It’s got headroom for years performance wise but somehow, with very light use and low brightness, it fell all the way down to 75% BH
First time iphone user here and i got this 13 3 days ago so smooth best phone iv ever own
Which colour did you get?
Blue
Same here I've used android most of my life and this phone is a win. I have the red
The iPhone 13 is absolutely perfect in every way. The A15 makes it super efficient, and the screen is great too. All around a solid phone. I have no reason to get the IPhone 15.
Only get 15 if it’s on sale
The iPhone 13 series was the last iPhone that had a physical Sim card. That’s why I kept mine.
Oh really?!
@@dark_nightwing_xl2797 yup!
Have a 2 year old iPhone 13 and its still Great 💪🏼
I still have my 13, still works great
I got a second hand iPhone 13 mini.
I am using the iPhone 13 nearly 2 years and it’s still working great
My student's XR is holding up so good in 2024, I think my 13 will be fine in the next years.
This channel is one of the best because it focuses on the product rather than the face of the RUclipsr "lol".
You are phenomenal ❤
A great reviewer and your voice is beautiful 😊
Love my iPhone 13 Pro Max.Still going strong ,even better with iOS 17.5. Update.Wouldn’t change it for the 14 or 15.Best of all we have support for iPhone 13 until 2028-2030. 😁👍
I bought iPhone 15 pro max and now I think I wasted my money I could got a phone 13 instead
Got this phone on ebay for a $300 steal! Definitely viable for the next few years as it’s still crazy fast and runs smooth in general
Battery health?
You don’t have to search hard to find it, Walmart literally sells it brand new for $199.
How much in 2025 the i phone 13
I’ve been using my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Gave it a new battery this year. Glad I did. Getting that amazing battery life again and the phone screen barely dims out anymore. This phone is a massive keeper. Keeping it till the end of software support
how did u give a new battery very curious

I’m debating whether to get my iPhone 13 battery replaced or upgrade to the iPhone 16 when it comes out.
