I still daily my 13 pro max from launch day, battery health 84%. Other than it being a little slow in some areas, and apps reloading when switching between them (I guess that’s ram), it’s still a solid phone with all day battery life. It’s funny cause my fiancé got the 15 pro max and has had so many issues with it, (cameras freaking out, action button not working intermittently, flash not turning on or being stuck on to make a few) meanwhile the 13, minus the apps having to reload when switching, has been a solid daily driver. Good cameras, good battery life, fast enough for what I use it for. Definitely a solid phone to buy if you don’t want to drop $1k+ on a new flagship.
I also love my 13 pro. And replaced the battery myself. Only thing is you cant see the condition. But you can see it on PC with 3U Tool! And it Will cost you 29 euros
I never used either of those two phones 13 pro or 14 pro max, I was using the 12 pro before I upgraded to the 15 pro max so I would be holding on to mine for at least another 3 years 👍
I just bought an iPhone 13 Pro 256gb from offer up for $500 bucks. It’s practically brand new and it’s a great phone I enjoy making videos on it, 120hz screen is nice , battery life is great (100%) and it’s a nice upgrade from my iPhone 11 Pro 64gb . I been using the iPhone 11 Pro since 2021 when I bought it from the Apple refurbished website for nearly $900!
Bought my iPhone 13 pro a few weeks ago and I love it! Coming from years of being on android and I will never go back. Purchased the phone on Amazon and bought the premium renewed phone and when I got it the battery life was 100% and the phone looked brand new, I could find no scratches or blemishes. From here on out I will get my phones from Amazon renewed premium only!!
@@Lifeof_Emmy My 13pro has gone through 6000+miles of bikepacking off road tours on a mount on my bike and it's fine. I do protect it in rain though, no phone likes wet. Down to 84% battery capacity but haven't noticed a big change yet.
@@Lifeof_Emmy Got mine in December of 2021, and after consistently having the display on upwards of 6 hours per day I still have no issues whatsoever besides some mild burn in of the battery and wifi icons in the top right.
13 pro max user here, and even though i dont use my phone as much as i used to, whenever i do its blazing fast and has no problems doing whatever i want it to do. I wish i had gotten the smaller size tho, as the max just feels way to big in my hands
One important thing to note about the cameras is that the 13pro/max main lens is the only model so far to have a f1.5 max aperture. It’s the fastest main lens on any iPhone to date since the 14 and 15 models have a max of f1.78. So it still has the advantage of cleaner low light files in many instances (somewhere around 1/3 to a 1/2 stop). Computing improvements obviously have been made in newer models but sometimes you just can’t beat having more light. And you can see it in many test photos.
The battery issue can fixed by getting a battery replacement through Apple. When I upgraded from the 13 Pro to the 15 Pro, instead of trading it in, I got the battery replaced and have it stored away as a back up. I did the same with the 11 Pro. i got my 13pro in march 2022 and ive had it ever since and i can honestly say i want to make it last as long as i can, its great, i love the 120 fps pro motion display and that was the biggest selling point for me and why in the end i decided to get the 13 pro over just the regular 13. i think i could easily make this phone last for like 3-5 more years. the only thing that would make me want to upgrade sooner is if i wanted to get a pro max or if they come out with a ultra iPhone or something like that bc i watch so much content on my phone i sometimes wish i had a bigger screen. but i love my 13 pro!
I just got my sierra blue iPhone 13 Pro Max a week ago and I’m in love! I know I’m a lil late to the party but I wanted to upgrade from my 11 pro max but I wanted a sim tray and a good deal so I landed on the 13 pro max and it does NOT disappoint!! It’s all the phone I need even in mid 2024!
I have a 13 pro max but in my opinion the benefits of E-sim are that : Easier Network Switching: With an eSIM, you can switch mobile networks more conveniently. Instead of ordering a new physical SIM card, waiting for it to arrive, and inserting it into your phone, you can switch networks with a simple phone call or online request. No need to hunt for a SIM ejector tool! Temporary Network Changes: An eSIM can store up to five virtual SIM cards simultaneously. This feature allows you to quickly switch between different networks, especially when you’re in an area with poor signal on your usual network. It’s also handy for using a local network while traveling abroad without physically inserting a local SIM card. Dual-SIM Functionality: Like dual-SIM phones, eSIMs allow you to have two phone numbers on one device. This is useful if you want separate numbers for personal and business use but don’t want to carry two phones around. You can receive calls and texts on both numbers and choose which SIM to use for calls, texts, or data .
Coming up on year 3 on a 13 Pro Max. Battery life still great, even though I'm down to 89%. Performance definitely still great, especially helped by the 120Hz display. I am considering upgrading to pick up the Dynamic Island, AOD and USB-C port, but not completely settled on that as this phone still meets my needs.

Watching on my 13 Pro. Everything fine, happy with this, the only problem atm it’s the battery health, 80%. If iPhone 16 will be something special i’m going to upgrade, otherwise just changing the battery and maybe a new case. 😂
I have been using my iphone 13 pro for more than 2 yrs now and it feels the same.. dropped it a couple of times but still holding up well. No plans of upgrading..
The charging port on my 12 is on the verge of death, gonna upgrade to a 13 pro, heard only great things, will upgrade to a 15 pro once the 19 comes around
I have the iPhone 13 Pro and it’s really nice. Previously I had the iPhone 13 Pro Max. That was nice ass well but to heavy and bulky for me. My girlfriend has two iPhone 16 pro max’s. Which I often have to carry her bag and the weight is ridiculous after a while. I like the pro as just more comfortable to carry and use. Plus like the reviewer said it super fast, looks and sounds nice and cool phone
I was going to buy a 16 pro 128gb for 1000 pounds but decided to get a used 13 pro instead,I paid 370 for a 256gb model in graphite grey in immaculate condition but with 82% battery life one owner from new,I will get a new battery once it reaches 80 percent. The one advantage not often talked about is things like cases I got a brand new spigen enzo leather case that retails for 129 pounds for 16 pound off Amazon which is stunning. All because it’s an older model and coming from the iPhone SE 3rd gen this feels like a huge upgrade to me,pro motion makes far more of a difference to user feel in iOS than an A18 pro would compared to the A15 pro.
I just got the iPhone 13 Pro on Amazon to go with the s24+ that I have and would’ve gotten the 15 pro but hate that Apple got rid of the physical sim so I will probably be staying with the 13 pro for awhile
Currently using the 13 Pro Max since 2022. Still holds up just as well as day 1, battery is only slightly worse than before but still easily lasts a full day. Speed hasn't dropped a bit and it functions around 75-85 percent of my dad's 15 Pro Max
My 13 pro max is still rocking solid and will do so for another 2 years. I came from android and im surprised how well this phone is aging. There is really nothing i need from the newer models that my iphone doesnt already have.
Apple still sells brand new iPad's with less capable hardware than this phone. I don't see why it wouldn't still be great. The single biggest drawback this phone has is that it still has a lightning port. Otherwise it hasn't meaningfully aged (other than according to people who see the notch as anachronistic). But as stated in the video, the notch is less invasive than the hole punch, which can be annoying watching extra widescreen videos (seem to be becoming more common on YT for some reason lately).
I got mine brand new in April 2022, my first iPhone after 10 years of Androids Don't see myself replacing it anytime soon *maybe* if iPhone 16 will have some must-have feature for me
My 13 Pro held up incredibly well with 83% battery capacity after nearly 700 charging cycles. Will replace the battery soon though, and then it should be good to last me another 2 years or so. Incredible value for a phone.
I was just on a long call on my 15 plus so I grabbed my 13 pro to use while I was on the call 🤣 it’s such a decent phone,I like the feel and honestly the notch a little more than Dynamic Island. Despite it only being a year old though battery is 88% health and I could literally watch it go down as I was using it.
My 13 Pro is at 78% and I get 4-6 hours SoT easy, mostly 75-100% brightness, a lot of YT, scrolling social media, and Safari use. Don’t leave pointless stuff like Bluetooth and GPS on unless needed.
Watching because I’m soon planning to buy another iPhone 13 Pro Max in a few months. My model is having a ton of issues and big phones just aren’t quite for me anymore
just got a 13 Pro, because i need to send my S21 FE to warranty. decided to give apple a shot, i'm loving it, it's so fluid and the cameras are incredible, especially for video.
I have the 13 pro which i got it used and still in pristine condition last year, it is still smooth and doing well for me. with the battery health at 87% (when I got it, it was at 90%), I just need to change the battery and it will run just as new
I'm still running an 11 Pro Max, battery health still at 88% and lasts all day I never had to charge during the day, performance is still great I never experienced a single hiccup + I've been sideloading everything under the sun with no issues whatsoever.
Im looking to get a new phone and im hearing really good stuff abt the 13 pro which is still at the top of my list but im having trouble buying it since the 16 is coming out and i am not gonna get the 16 so should i get the 13 pro or save up for the 14 pro?
I use my 13 pro max on iOS 15.1 to this day (never been updated and never will). Phone is rock solid. Given it’s built on the 5nm N5P TSMC node, it’s very power efficient and I will use the phone until it doesn’t make sense. Apple changes practically nothing anymore in their new offerings, so I’ll be using this phone for a while.
I have the iPhone 14 which is considered a water down version of the 13 Pro like you said but I’m OK with that. I’m gonna hang onto my phone for another year until the new iPhone 17s come out which is rumored to have a totally new design on one of them also good review video!
Been using one as the primary device since Jan 2022 but the battery health is already below 80% and weighing whether to get a battery replacement or jump for the new one. After watching this video I think I would keep it a few more years or until the new model excites me.
This is by far my favorite iPhone, second to the 8 and I so badly miss my Sierra blue 13 pro max. The 13 series as a whole had everything: great cameras, fantastic battery life, ProMotion, even compared to the 14 series, the 13 pro had it all. I really miss mine
i had a xr since early 2019 and that's held up so well, but when the opportunity to get an apple refurbished 13 pro arose late last year, i jumped on that immediately. this is peak iphone. that 13 pro is gonna hold up for soooooooooo long.
Over the past few months my 13 Pro has gone from functioning as new to being extremely laggy and overheating multiple times a day. Has anyone else had this? The battery life is still showing as healthy and the sudden change has me thinking it’s been trashed by software updates.
I have the 14 Pro Max now. I traded my 13 Pro on it. There have been times I've regretted that decision. It was a fantastic phone and the battery life was excellent. I'm staying with the 14 PM for several years so I can break the upgrade addiction. I miss that phone.
I bought it 10 months ago as a used phone and it was totally worth its price. Great performance, great camera and good battery time. I won’t upgrade for years now
Everyone loved the 13 P/PM, definitely one of the best Apple has made to date. Still enjoying my 13 Pro even with 78% BH, it’s a non-issue even at this point though I can tell it’s not what it used to be and will eventually fork over the money to replace it. Only reason I would want to upgrade is the new 24mp native resolution option on the 15 Pro and maybe some screen brightness and better thermal performance/less dimming. Likely wait another 1-2 years.
I very recently swapped the battery in my 13 Pro. Definitely worth it so I can hold up to it for at least another full fourth year. Still a beast of a phone. Whatever the 17 Pro has to offer will be the decision factor between keeping it for a fifth year or switching.
Any iPhone that can run current and at least one more iOS gen is worth it, at the right price. I keep a spare 11 Pro as my running phone and it refuses to age with a battery swap.
My kids got the mid-year dark green 13 Pro, and I’ve always disliked the weight of their phone - love the colour, though. Was very pleased to see the Introduction of Titanium. The next time I need to upgrade, I’ll definitely be looking to get a Pro. Thanks for the content.
Just sold my 13 pro max for the 15 pro max. Was an amazing phone but I’ve used it for 2Years every single day and things were slowing down and lagging. Love the 15 pro max😊
Bought a 256GB iPhone 13 Pro in fall of 2023 for 700€ and I don’t regret it. It’s just as fast as recent flagships but battery life ist rough after a almost 3 year degradation. I‘m going to get the battery replaced soon though. I think this phone will stay snappy and fast for at least 2 more years.
i’m lovin my iPhone 13 Pro. It is very fast. The brightness is really good outside. The promotion is incredible. Battery is pretty good. Could be better, but if you use it very lightly during the day which I’m pretty much light on usage during the day when I’m with my girlfriend or going out, it lasts pretty much up until I get home when I get home I’m at least at 40 or 50% not bad overall it’s a very good phone still.
The 13 Pro Max was one of my favorite iPhones of all time. If not for the 15 getting USB C I would still be using it. I just wanted USB C enough to justify the upgrade. But the 13 pro was a damn good phone
Probably going to wait til the iPhone 17 to upgrade. The 16 series looks tempting but still not enough for me to upgrade where as there are rumors of a redesign and Pro-Motion across all iPhones for the 17 series.
Got my 13 pro in winter 2021-2022, it has held up remarkably well, if I just cleaned it up it would still look brand new, next to no performance issues, hitches, etc. Battery life has dropped significantly I’m at 85% and it doesn’t last a full day unless I turned location and other settings off…. I’m going to get a new battery soon and hopefully get at least another 2 years (but that USB C is calling my name)
I still daily my 13 pro max from launch day, battery health 84%. Other than it being a little slow in some areas, and apps reloading when switching between them (I guess that’s ram), it’s still a solid phone with all day battery life.
My biggest regret was trading in my iPhone 13 Pro Max for the 14 Pro Max, especially because of the loss of my physical SIM. I went through all kinds of hell trying to switch my eSim between my phones after that and ended up changing carriers 3 times over it.
The iPhone 13 Pro has held up like you'd hope a $1000+ smartphone would hold up approaching 3 years later- and I think that buying it used can potentially provide a lot of value.

Nice vid. Just bought one in UK, waiting on🤞
I just got the iPhone 13 Pro on Amazon to go with the s24+ that I have and would’ve gotten the 15 pro but hate that Apple got rid of the physical sim so I will probably be staying with the 13 pro for awhile
Watching from my iPhone 13promax ❤
I have one too since 2021, legend iPhone
Apple still sells brand new iPad's with less capable hardware than this phone. I don't see why it wouldn't still be great. The single biggest drawback this phone has is that it still has a lightning port. Otherwise it hasn't meaningfully aged (other than according to people who see the notch as anachronistic). But as stated in the video, the notch is less invasive than the hole punch, which can be annoying watching extra widescreen videos (seem to be becoming more common on YT for some reason lately).
I got mine brand new in April 2022, my first iPhone after 10 years of Androids
Don't see myself replacing it anytime soon
*maybe* if iPhone 16 will have some must-have feature for me
My 13 Pro held up incredibly well with 83% battery capacity after nearly 700 charging cycles.
I think the 13 pro is worth it. Anything older than the 11 is in need of an upgrade, IMO.
Got one yesterday. It was a toss up between the phone or a pair of Gucci sunglasses from Harrods. I chose phone. I’ll get sunglasses next month
13 pro is awesome, after 2 years went down to 85% changed the battery sticking to this phone until something worthy to upgrades comes out
White screen shattered my confidence in the brand
I bought the Samsung S 24 Ultra - and I have been reaching for the 13 pro Every time. It just feels more unified and super functional and a great feel
Watching because I’m soon planning to buy another iPhone 13 Pro Max in a few months. My model is having a ton of issues and big phones just aren’t quite for me anymore
Me watching this on a 13 Pro Max. Just upgraded from a 12 pro a couple days ago. Well worth it!!!
i bought 1 tb version pro max right when it came out and ive never ever had a signle problem!!! amazing phone.
just got a 13 Pro, because i need to send my S21 FE to warranty.
decided to give apple a shot, i'm loving it, it's so fluid and the cameras are incredible, especially for video.
I am planing to buy the 13 pro refurbished rn
did u get it?
I have the 13 pro which i got it used and still in pristine condition last year, it is still smooth and doing well for me. with the battery health at 87% (when I got it, it was at 90%), I just need to change the battery and it will run just as new
Been using my 13 Pro since February 2023, no issues whatsoever. Jailbroken on 16.6.1 and holding strong!
I'm still running an 11 Pro Max, battery health still at 88% and lasts all day I never had to charge during the day, performance is still great I never experienced a single hiccup + I've been sideloading everything under the sun with no issues whatsoever.
The Dynamic island reminds me of the Lonely Island.
Watching on 13 pro this dude is right‼️‼️‼️
Still have my 13 PM no problems whatsoever 91% battery life 👍🏾👍🏾
Im looking to get a new phone and im hearing really good stuff abt the 13 pro which is still at the top of my list but im having trouble buying it since the 16 is coming out and i am not gonna get the 16 so should i get the 13 pro or save up for the 14 pro?
I’m only going to upgrade from my 13 Pro Max if there’s a significant upgrade or a change in design or if my battery gets badly degraded
I wish I had a iPhone on iOS 15 but I do have a xr on 14 and a 11 on 16 so it’s ok
Excellent @@miamora01
15.1 same here 😂
I wish I never updated on my old phone
Bought this phone last week. Depreciation value is suuuuperb 👌🏼
Using 13 pro max in 2024. 3 years down, battery life 88%. 0 complaints. Love it ❤
I’m not gonna lie, the Persona 5 music in the background adds a nice touch to the video.
just ordered one today :) upgrading from an iphone SE
How much Display on time do you get with around 85% batteryhealth? Have a nice deal here.
This is by far my favorite iPhone, second to the 8 and I so badly miss my Sierra blue 13 pro max. The 13 series as a whole had everything: great cameras, fantastic battery life, ProMotion, even compared to the 14 series, the 13 pro had it all. I really miss mine
Thinking about getting this because of the nano sim. Would allow me to switch between my galaxy phone and iPhone.
If I could keep using my alpine green 13pro forever I would 💚… at least until something really ground breaking or worth it comes out 🤷🏾♂️
i had a xr since early 2019 and that's held up so well, but when the opportunity to get an apple refurbished 13 pro arose late last year, i jumped on that immediately.
this is peak iphone. that 13 pro is gonna hold up for soooooooooo long.
Oh the weight savings of the newer models is appealing as well. I complain about my 13 Pro can’t imagine having the Max lol
I very recently swapped the battery in my 13 Pro. Definitely worth it so I can hold up to it for at least another full fourth year. Still a beast of a phone. Whatever the 17 Pro has to offer will be the decision factor between keeping it for a fifth year or switching.
They could've released it this year and itd still be top tier
Any iPhone that can run current and at least one more iOS gen is worth it, at the right price. I keep a spare 11 Pro as my running phone and it refuses to age with a battery swap.
Watching on 11pro just bought few days back in used market
watching this on my 13mini :)
Just got a 13PM from Best Buy, battery life has been great even using the iOS 18 beta software
Just sold my 13 pro max for the 15 pro max. Was an amazing phone but I’ve used it for 2Years every single day and things were slowing down and lagging. Love the 15 pro max😊
Using the 14 pro right now but it’s pretty much like the 13. 13 ain’t that bad it’s definitely one of the best iPhone that Apple has made so far.
But the 13 pro was a damn good phone
still rocking mines. got it in dec 2021. probably wont upgrade until the 17 or 18 model
Probably going to wait til the iPhone 17 to upgrade. The 16 series looks tempting but still not enough for me to upgrade where as there are rumors of a redesign and Pro-Motion across all iPhones for the 17 series.
The 13 Pro was such a good iPhone reminds me of how reliable my iPhone 5s was
Got my 13 pro in winter 2021-2022, it has held up remarkably well, if I just cleaned it up it would still look brand new, next to no performance issues, hitches, etc.
Yes, feel the same, the RAM seems to become a minor bottle neck and heavy apps keep reloading more often.
Rocking alpine green with 89% bh maybe 16 or 17 i am gonna upgrade my 13 pro
watching this on my 14 pro :)
Must be fucking nice. Smh.
I just bought a 13 pro max on ebay a few days ago and its been great so far
is iphone 13 pro still available in the market, i thought they discontinued it. (im planning to buy iphone 13 pro)
My biggest regret was trading in my iPhone 13 Pro Max for the 14 Pro Max, especially because of the loss of my physical SIM. I went through all kinds of hell trying to switch my eSim between my phones after that and ended up changing carriers 3 times over it.
