You can defeat the enemy wielder by running circles around the lake so she never catches you. Meanwhile sell the lean-to when you get enough frogs, then buy the exchange for celestial ore so you can upgrade your units. Full stacks of units and garrisson the town and you can mop the floor with the wielder
Great video and you can have units split to only one. Its better to have those ones, because you can send them forward to make enemy retaliate and he will kill only one unit and then you go with your biggest stack of units. Dmg free :D :) its classic HOMM3 tactic
Thanks! You have to consider momentum, however - the enemy gets a 10% boost for each stack killed so it’s nit really worth eating up one retaliation for it.

Good tip, although I try not to exploit the game like that if I can help it.

Thanks for the videos. I saw the first campaign fully. Nice to learn from a good player!
Thanks a lot! Glad you enjoyed it!
nice playthrough!
Thanks! More coming!
Came here from the bg3 series. Never seen this game. Kinda reminds me of heroes of might and magic with the battle field set up.
Cool! Glad to have you on board! Yes, Songs of Conquest is THE spiritual successor to HOMM3 and developers have done a GREAT job! Check it out!
