FELIX THE CAT - FUTURITZY
Felix asks his girlfriend to marry him. He goes to her father who wants to know his prospects. He visits a fortune teller, but the Gypsy palm reader is of no help. He then goes to an Astrologist who looks at the stars and predicts Felix's future - Felix will find a lucky horseshoe, with which he will catch a thief. The thief's victim gratefully rewards Felix with a plane ride to the city and an enormous meal of milk and fish. He then gives him a safe full of money. Felix shows the money to his girlfriend and she hugs him. - Delighted with the news of his good fortune, Felix pays the astrologer and leaves. He goes to his soon-to-be father in law with the details and lights a Cigar. Unfortunately his match lands on some dynamite and "POW" the explosion catapults the pair into the sky. The father lands perilously on a cliff edge. Whilst trying to save him Felix finds a horseshoe. Unfortunately he only manages to break a shop window with it. Felix is then run over by a car. It says 'just married' and his love is inside in a brides dress! Felix's heart is broken. He throws a brick through the Astrologers window.

His cat voice is soooo cute!!!!!!💝💖❤️☺️
I like that the sight gag of Felix doffing his ears like a hat here is retained in the Joe Oriolo TV series of the late 1950s.
Yeah the same with him removing his tail to use as a tool, which he would retain both further in the Twisted Tales in the 90s
Felix 164 1928 from Educational Pictures. That was one short fat tree at 1:40 ! Heartbroken or not, Felix is irrepressible and just about always has a last laugh. This had to be pretty low budget though, mostly simple drawing with actual scribbling at 2:31 but the Gypsy woman's finger was impressive.
Huh, so this cartoon does have an opening that provides context for Felix is doing. Because most prints of this cartoon just start with him abruptly meeting the fortuneteller without any story motivation. XD
I'm ancient. And British. I remember 'Saturday morning pictures' where for a few pennies you had two hours of cartoons and kids' films at a proper cinema. Felix was usually shown at the beginning so they could use Merry Melodies' 'That's All Folks!' at the end of the show. And there was a Felix cartoon strip in TV Comic - I loved it when he used his ray gun to disappear people and others he didn't like. I wanted one of those ray guns - still do!

Great One
펠릭스 더 캣은 best!
Anyone know the felix cartoon when he's trying to get with the lady cat and he rides the smoke from a motorcycle to the top tower of the castle, and gives her ice cream and cotton candy and stuff, I have a vague memory of that cartoon and I can't find it
The Felix short film you are talking about is "Romeeow" from 1929. This short is erroneously dated as a 1927 short film because it has another cartoon of Felix from that year with almost the same name, "Felix as Roameo". Don't get confused when looking for this short film.
@@luizfernandocanaloficial9511 thanks so much man
